23/08/2026: A place I had the pleasure of frequenting many years ago. While the dishes are very good, the salad is really quite basic and not worthy of this restaurant. The waitresses don't seem happy to be working and are rather unfriendly. It's also a shame that customers are allowed to smoke at their tables, even on the terrace; I would have appreciated being able to enjoy my meal without the smell.

22/08/2026: The tarte flambée was delicious! The service was excellent: friendly, quick, efficient, and attentive. The only downside: it was a bit noisy due to the groups.

03/08/2026: We were extremely disappointed when, while eating, my boyfriend found a dead wasp inside his pancake, which could have been extremely dangerous for him and made us question the restaurant's hygiene. When I told the waitress, she replied, "These things happen." Then she asked if she should remake the dish or not, which seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, I strongly advise against going to this place.

02/08/2026: Went on a date there because it looked cute, I ordered the Vegan French toast, vegan coco cream with strawberries and spéculoos. I'm lactose intolerant so I chose the vegan option right away. But couple bites into it my stomach started aching and I didn't know why because there wasn't supposed to be any lactose in it. Then I started wondering if the vegan bread was cooked in butter (which has lactose in it) cause the cramps were so bad I couldn't finish my plate. We paid and on the bike home i almost puked 😅 On the bright side the place looked cute and the waitress was kind :) But I don't think we'll go again unfortunately 😅 (it's very pricey too)

05/09/2026: Very disappointed by the owner's attitude. After a very long wait to eat a total of 5 tarte flambées (3 hours for 5 tarte flambées and no dessert), after I complained, the owner came out of his kitchen making aggressive, insulting, and threatening remarks. Clearly, avoid this restaurant, despite its very good tarte flambée...

16/07/2026: We were refused a table for 6 people at 7 pm, even though there were plenty of unreserved tables available both inside and outside! Absolutely no customer service, no effort whatsoever, just the feeling that we were "bothering" them, to put it politely! It's true they had to move a table for 2 to the side to make a table for 6! Perhaps they were too tired to work in this heat! I've traveled all over Europe and this is the worst welcome I've ever received in a restaurant! Bravo for this excellent service!

03/07/2026: A lovely discovery on the road before arriving at La Chenaudière. Everything was perfect. If you're passing through Villé, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

08/08/2026: We waited 45 minutes for drinks and tarte flambée, only to receive a tart we hadn't ordered. Judge for yourselves. We took it anyway to start our meal... Otherwise, we've never been disappointed by the quality of these tarts. The price-quality ratio is good.

11/07/2026: We arrived at 8:30 PM, aperitifs were served at 9:20 PM and dinner at 10:15 PM. Luckily, we only ordered salads. The service was extremely slow, and there was no bread left to accompany our salads. I will avoid this restaurant in the future.

26/08/2026: The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious and fresh, and they were very accommodating to small children. We can't understand the negative reviews; everything was absolutely perfect, and we ate here twice.

29/07/2026: I went around 5:30 pm it was empty I sat outside the person who showed me my table was extremely rude like he was going to pay for the food , the waiter was nice I asked after 5 mins if I can go inside because it was loud and IK the place inside is very nice , the manager said to the waiter tell her it’s as hot as outside and she can’t change her place ?!!! I actually should’ve cancelled the order because I’m not going to sit where the manager wishes these 2 actions were frustrating I couldn’t even enjoy my meal in peace

29/07/2026: A very pleasant atmosphere; the four of us sat on the first floor. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and very funny. The food was excellent; the butcher's cut as a main course was superb, as were the appetizer and dessert. Very good value for money.

06/08/2026: Honestly, one of the best kebabs around! Everything was perfect: the meat was excellent, the white sauce was a real treat, and the drinks were served ice cold (the Red Bull was perfectly chilled, top-notch). Plus, the young man at the counter was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Thank you for the service, I'll be back often!

06/05/2026: The first and last time I ate at your place, the kofte was completely red. I paid €12 for nothing; I threw the kofte in the bin. The lady wasn't friendly at all. I won't recommend it to anyone. You're useless.

04/03/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at this guesthouse with my partner 🤍 The place is truly magnificent, full of charm and very peaceful. We immediately felt at ease. The hosts are warm and welcoming; it was a real pleasure to chat with them. And the food… absolutely delicious! Everything was excellent from start to finish. A fantastic discovery; we will definitely be back!
