20/09/2026: We had lunch today with friends. We appreciated the kindness of the owner and staff. The meal was very good. The Black Forest cake was excellent. Our German friends enjoyed this farm inn with its organic products. We highly recommend this place.

01/09/2026: We went for lunch at this charming inn after our visit to the Memorial. We received a very warm welcome; the food comes from the farm and is cooked simply but deliciously. Friendly waitress 😊

16/09/2026: A traditional Alsatian restaurant with a friendly, family atmosphere. The waitress was very kind, smiling, and attentive, which was truly appreciated. However, we were a little disappointed by the quality of the food. The portions were decent, but the flavors unfortunately lacked character and subtlety. We were expecting more flavorful Alsatian cuisine. (The fried Munster cheese was bland, and the nougat ice cream tasteless.) A mixed experience, despite a very warm welcome.

14/06/2026: We returned to this restaurant for the third time and were just as satisfied as before, both with the warm welcome and the delicious food and presentation. Many thanks again to our waiter, José. We had a lovely time.

04/08/2026: The meal was nice but not exceptional. However, charging for a doggy bag is petty, especially since it wasn't indicated on the menu that it was extra... According to the law: In France, a restaurant has the right to charge for a doggy bag (the container for taking home leftovers), but only if it provides prior notice, transparent pricing, and complies with legal requirements.

11/10/2026: If you want to eat good meat, this is the place. For the rest, I hope you don't have high expectations. Because the meat is served with instant mashed potatoes! Accompanied by a Béarnaise sauce... Amora brand! The fries are tasteless... Luckily the meat is good. After all, given the price, we expected at least some sensible side dishes! Please at least season the dish... And on top of that, no music, very nice for listening to the conversation of our table neighbors. Update reply: When you use the term "long time," what do you mean? Because there are about ten other reviews similar to mine, all within a month of each other... Following my February update, you changed your answer in June/July, in my opinion... this proves your lack of honesty even more.

10/10/2026: We ate there with our running/trail running group, Bad Runners, and everything went very well. There were 27 of us, the tarte flambée was very generous, the pizzas were equally excellent, the quality/quantity/price ratio was very fair, and everyone was very happy! Special mention to the young waitress for whom it was her first night; you were fantastic!

20/09/2026: A lovely time spent at the wine cellar; a discovery and an address to remember. The service was friendly and lively. The wine is excellent, full of flavor, and the plum Melba is a real success.

15/08/2026: For the past few years, as a passing customer, I have received a very pleasant service, a cuisine made with fresh produce, and the cordon bleu is a real treat.

11/08/2026: They don't speak English here. The waitress asked if we wanted 3 portions of fries for the children. I indicated I wanted 1 portion, given that they don't eat much. They brought 3 portions of fries with 2 chicken nuggets.. My husband had a burger for 15 euros and I had steak tartare for 18 euros. 3x apple juice, 1x Coke Zero and 1 beer. Total price 84 euros! When paying, there was no receipt, but a colleague was quickly asked what we had ordered and shown what the price was. Since I couldn't speak French, I left it at that. What a rip-off! The food was of average quality, nothing special.

16/09/2026: This is our 10th stay at Hotel Europe. The value for money is fantastic. The location is perfect, and the rooms are very clean. And best of all, the wonderful, incredibly friendly hosts. Breakfast, in particular, is prepared with such care and attention to detail, and we highly recommend the lunch as well. We always love coming back. Astrid and Harald Frey

The food is a delight: flavorful cuisine, generous portions, and everything is homemade. You can taste it in every bite! A wonderful place, simple and welcoming, just the way we like them in Alsace.
