21/05/2026: A very good place to stay, close to the Royal Palace cabaret and much more. The five couples in our party spent three pleasant nights in a clean and quiet environment, with helpful, available, and attentive staff, and good food. I recommend it.

14/05/2026: The welcome is as rough as the bath towels…. Tiny attic room / outdated bathroom with no ventilation / no surface to put anything on / Room number 20 has no window… nor any ventilation, but they don't tell you that! The only positive point: if you're deaf… the owner speaks so loudly that you'll hear her no matter what. The photos are misleading… establishment not recommended.

21/05/2026: Noisy hotel!! I don't usually leave negative reviews, but a little compassion for your customers would be appreciated. I was woken up early this morning by a door slamming every time someone passed by the breakfast room. I asked reception to please hold the door open to stop the noise, but no one bothered to do it!! So imagine my surprise when I looked at the reviews and saw several complaints about this same problem, some dating back more than a year. A door spring can be adjusted, and if it's broken, it should be removed. As a result, I've cancelled my next reservation at your hotel. On the Logis Hotel app, you can add certain establishments to your favorites; it's a shame you can't blacklist them.

11/05/2026: The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere quite pleasant, I loved it.

02/04/2026: A typical Alsatian restaurant. Excellent tarte flambée. The cordon bleu was a bit small compared to other restaurants. A little expensive for the quantity/price ratio, but good quality. Service was a bit slow.

30/04/2026: This restaurant is well located in the center of Wasselonne. The food is good, but the service is incredibly slow—so slow, in fact, that the restaurant should be called "I'm Wasting Time"! Thirty minutes or more for the dishes, which don't even arrive at the same time, and for coffee, a good 20 minutes tops! It's a shame because you feel bad insisting on faster service! Allow plenty of time to eat here! And what's even worse is that, judging from the reviews, this is clearly a recurring problem, and they're doing nothing to improve it!

24/02/2026: We go there regularly, with our two dogs on our laps, ever since we moved to the next town over. The setting is pleasant, there are often regulars, and it's a comfortable place to eat. The food is well-prepared and the staff are friendly.

14/07/2026: The reservation system needs to be reviewed. We booked for 6 but were seated at a table for 4, while a table for 6 next door was given for 4. We spent the evening packed in like sardines.

14/07/2026: We had a reservation for six people and ended up crammed into a table for four, while just two meters away, four people were seated at a table for six. To top it all off, a waiter spoke to us very rudely, telling us to return to our table of four simply because we were trying to find a more suitable solution. Otherwise, the food was good.

05/05/2026: On the evening of April 30, 2026, my son, daughter-in-law, and I were looking forward to celebrating my birthday once again at La Maison des Tanneurs, a restaurant I have only fond memories of and have recommended many times. But what a disappointment! The sauerkraut was mediocre, the pike-perch tasteless... but the real low point was my vegetarian dish, which I wouldn't have dared serve to anyone at home: a mound of dry sauerkraut surrounded by bland or overly salty boiled vegetables, apart from two spoonfuls of cooked red cabbage. The overly sweet rhubarb tart had lost all its acidity, but the iced kougelhopf was good. What happened that evening?

14/06/2026: Enjoyed an excellent, well-served, and generous portion of fish stew in September 2024. Returning in April 2026, the portions had significantly decreased, which was disappointing after the initial enthusiasm. The welcome and service were nonetheless commendable.

12/03/2026: I really enjoyed the platter of oriental pastries for Rosh Hashanah, especially the Gazelle Horns, as well as the salmon noodle takeaway meal... Great!!

09/11/2025: This morning I thought, for a change, I'll go to their place. I see fruit bread for almost €20 a kilo. Strangely, I don't see any fruit on top of the bread. I ask him, "Are you sure it's fruit bread?" "Yes, yes." I think the picture speaks for itself. ... I assume, of course, that it's not the same price as the seeded bread, not to mention the anorexic-looking Menele.

12/06/2026: The cuisine is simply remarkable. Alsatian specialties are elevated with admirable skill: bold flavors, impeccable quality ingredients, generous and perfectly executed dishes. Each bite tells a story, that of a culinary heritage carefully preserved and masterfully enhanced.

13/07/2026: Very long wait (30 minutes) for a carbonara and a scampi salad (€16.50 for a salad with 4 scampi). The waiters were very friendly but overwhelmed. Otherwise, well located in the shade, a nice restaurant.

13/07/2026: The pizzas are incredible, the food is truly excellent. A huge shout-out to the waitress, she was so friendly, efficient, and always in a good mood. It was a pleasure!

04/06/2026: I used to love this restaurant (and rated it 5 stars), we happily drove the two hours from home for their delicious tarte flambée. It was my favorite place, which I always recommended. Today, however, it was a complete disaster. We were simply forgotten in the corner, it took an hour to get drinks, and an hour and a half for the first tarte flambée (only after we complained), while the next table (which arrived 30 minutes after us) was already being served their third. Our little daughter was hungry and, after an hour, started crying. We paid after the first tarte flambée and went somewhere else to eat. I'm ashamed; we had recommended the restaurant to two friends today, who now had to experience this catastrophe. I don't know if I'll come back; I've rarely been so disappointed by a restaurant. The service was only friendly at the beginning, otherwise it was cold. Today I can understand the negative reviews, since everything was usually fine before (except for the wait times, which varied from day to day).

04/06/2026: The food was very good. But the service was not. I had specifically called ahead to check if there was a table available. When we arrived, there was only one table left outside. We waited almost two hours for our food and received no apology. It's a shame; we probably won't be coming back. Yes, it was busy, but tables gradually became available, and not all of them were even occupied inside. One of the servers even admitted that it was due to poor organization.

30/12/2025: While passing through the region, we had trouble finding a reasonably priced hotel near Strasbourg (Christmas period). I chose this one, but I must admit I was very disappointed after paying €240 (in advance) for two nights (without breakfast). I should mention that the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel seems old and, in our opinion, desperately needs a renovation. We arrived at 5 or 6 PM, and the reception desk was closed with a shutter, and the room keys were left on it… Anyone could have entered our room… I was very surprised by this system. The room itself was small but adequate, and the bed was very small but sufficient. The floral bedspread looked dated, as did the mismatched velvet cushions. Hygiene-wise, non-washable velvet cushions have no place on a bed where different people sleep each night… this bothered me greatly… the pillows were thin and uncomfortable. The rooms have no soundproofing: we could hear the dog barking at the other end of the hotel, the construction work, and even the people using the bathroom in the next room… (🫨). The heating is inadequate and it gets cold quickly, especially in December. For breakfast, we paid €50 for two people for two mornings (€11.50 x 4 + tax). There was little choice, and few, if any, savory options, so we made do with what was on offer. In short, considering the prices, I think the hotel should be modernized and renovated (while still retaining its typical Alsatian charm).

03/07/2026: It is located in the small street so that it is pretty quiet to avoid touristic place. They have tarte flambe and carpaccio as much as you want. Reasonable price and good service.
