19/08/2026: Since the change of ownership, the restaurant no longer offers the same quality, either in terms of food or service. The waitresses are very cold and not at all pleasant, which really discourages me from returning. It's a real shame... it's not what it used to be.

15/08/2026: A wonderful discovery since the change of ownership! The restaurant has clearly reached a new level: excellent, generous, and entirely homemade dishes, using high-quality ingredients. What's more, the owners are lovely, always smiling, and very welcoming. A huge congratulations to them for this great change and success! See you soon!

08/07/2026: We've been coming for 5 years and are delighted with this restaurant. The welcome is always with a smile, the couscous is delicious, and the owner comes around to each table to make sure everything is alright. 07/06/2026: The best couscous around, for many years now. We're always warmly welcomed, the couscous is delicious and plentiful, and the owner even comes around to refill our plates! Pair it with a good bottle of Boulaouane wine, and everything is perfect. P.S.: We always ask for the semolina with cinnamon and raisins; it's absolutely delicious. Thank you!

31/07/2026: We had lunch at the restaurant. The food was good, no complaints there. But the service was very slow. We had to ask for the menu and for an aperitif. People who arrived after us were served before we could even order an aperitif. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend three hours at a restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime. Edit from July 31, 2026: The horse roast and escalope were excellent. We were there at 6:30 pm and the restaurant was still almost empty, so the service was good. We finished around 8:30 pm and the restaurant was full; that's when the service really takes a beating... and you have to wait...

27/07/2026: The atmosphere was rather cold; this place could use some improvement, especially the terrace. The main courses were good. Some of the desserts were a bit less so (perhaps frozen?), particularly the tarts. The wait was long; for a table of 10-15, we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated and 10 minutes for the menus... The value for money is still excellent for a Sunday (excluding special meals and special events); expect to pay €20-25 per person. There's a lot of choice on the menu, perhaps too much? It's still a good choice; the pizzas are excellent.

13/08/2026: Very quiet due to the holidays, so obviously much more pleasant than when the place is crowded. Excellent, well-seasoned steak tartare and reasonably priced for Strasbourg. Good experience, thank you.

04/08/2026: The meal was nice but not exceptional. However, charging for a doggy bag is petty, especially since it wasn't indicated on the menu that it was extra... According to the law: In France, a restaurant has the right to charge for a doggy bag (the container for taking home leftovers), but only if it provides prior notice, transparent pricing, and complies with legal requirements.

19/08/2026: A bakery and pastry shop like few others, the breads are exquisite, the dishes are made with fresh ingredients, and they are balanced and delicious. As for the pastries, the selection is varied and crafted with care and flair. The welcome at Le Fournil de Séraphin is always warm and friendly. A big thank you for your expertise, which we enjoy every day.

17/08/2026: The saleswoman was extremely unpleasant, never smiled, and jumped on you as soon as you entered! The reception and courtesy need improvement!
