26/09/2024: J’ai déjeuné chez Jean et je ne peux que me féliciter d’avoir fait ce choix : un menu du jour à 16 € ,entrée,plat, dessert, copieux et de qualité, servi de plus avec le sourire dans une winstub authentique, voilà de quoi confirmer que Jean a été et reste un bon restaurant !

11/10/2024: War mehrfach dort zum Abendessen. Liegt am Ortsrand, recht ruhig. Empfang freundlich. Ambiente eher modern. Es war immer recht voll dort. Karte bietet ein kleiner Auswahl an Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen, Flammkuchen und Pizza. Alles, was wir hatten, war sehr gut. Service war recht aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. alles in allem schöne Abende! Gerne wieder!

05/10/2024: Un très bon restaurant où nous avons passé une superbe soirée, avec un personnel attentionné et TOP, en plus si vous êtes en voyage ce restaurant est accolé à u hôtel 3 étoiles du même nom, ce n'est pas un restaurant d'hôtel qui sont là juste pour ce sustenter et encore, là vous êtes dans un restaurant typiquement Alsacien avec de la tare flambée, du jambonneau à la sauce au munster, de la bouchée à la reine et tout est servi copieusement même de trop lol Mon épouse à pris cette bouchée à la reine où il y avait 2 croutes et beaucoup de viandes et sauces avec des späetzle maison, moi j'avais un jarret à la sauce au munster, frites salades mais pour tous les plats les accompagnements sont libre et pas besoin de couper la viande elle se détachait toute seul de l'os. J'y ai aussi trouvé un vin rouge que j'aime beaucoup c'est le Pigoudet première qui est le un très bon vin rouge de Provence du coté d'Aix en Provence en plus à un très bon prix. Pour finir un très bon Tiramisu et moi un Irish et là, mes amis je ne vous raconte pas la dose d'alcool on voyait à peine le café lol et dans un vrai verre d'Irish pas les petits verres que certains restaurants on l'habitude de vous servir en ce moment, c'est comme pour vos courses on n'augmente pas mais on diminue les quantités pour le même prix, chez eux c'est loin d'être le cas. Comme je disais serveur, serveuses très professionnels et au petit soin, automatiquement si vous prenez qu'une entrée sur les 2 ils mettront une petite assiette pour partager si on veut. Certains restaurant ont arrêter la demi-tarte flambé pour faire plus de chiffre, eux non et c'est largement suffisant pour accompagné vos apéro avec quelques bons cocktails qu'il font. Petit bémol avec les sauces, les sauces sont trop épaisses donc un peu gélatineuse comme ça arrive quand on veut trop les épaissir, juste un peu plus crémeuse pour la bouchée à la Reine et un peu plus liquide pour la sauce au munster, c'est affaire de gout. Autrement rien à redire et je cous conseils vraiment de vous y arrêter. PS : j'ai vu 3 voitures qui voulait rentrer par le portail juste devant le restaurant vu qu'il y a le panneau Restaurant, alors qu'il faut rentrer plus haut sur le parking de l'hôtel, il faudrait juste le laisser assez ouvert pour laisser passer une chaise roulante ou un vélo, à propos aucun problème d'accès pour les personnes à mobilité réduite tout est à plat.

12/08/2024: We enjoyed lunch and were very satisfied. The food was high quality and the service was friendly. The price-performance ratio is great, even if the portions are a bit smaller by German standards - they were still enough. Order could come a little quicker. Overall, a clear recommendation!

17/11/2024: Nous avons découvert un super restaurant d’un niveau gastronomique, de très bon goût, de très belles présentations, j’ai joints en photo les 4 plats menus découverte à 69€ 👍vraiment super, avec en accompagnement de très bons vins, service de bon niveau, le personnel très sympathique, je vous le suggère.

23/09/2024: Très belle découverte grâce à une offre Privideal ! Tous les plats étaient au top sauf peut-être l'entrée à base de sardines que tout le monde n'aime pas forcément. Les vins proposés en accompagnement de chaque plat étaient parfaitement choisis. En résumé, nous avons passé un très agréable moment avec en prime le sourire et la bonne humeur de notre serveuse et de son petit accent italien. Bravo au chef et aussi à son papa qui aide au service des vins ! Nous recommandons vraiment sans hésitation.

18/08/2024: We had to find it! Hidden along a village road below Grendelbruch, this picturesque restaurant with an authentic feel would keep all these promises…. Arriving in a herd of around 10 people, exhausted from a walk in the surrounding mountains, my friends and I had the ambition to eat in the best possible way. Where to start I don't know, I would like to describe this moment using lyrical flights worthy of Molière's greatest pieces but I don't feel capable of it as the simplicity of the place and the moment passed had marked us ( in the good sense of the word). A few dishes on the menu but masterfully made by undoubtedly a top-flight experienced chef who knows how to tame the cooking of meats with an iron fist. Sumptuous sauces and extraordinary generosity in the quantity of mushrooms offered in the dishes (morels or chanterelles). The dishes were fair and flawless and we were all rave about the quality of our dishes (beef fillets, kidneys, frog legs and so on) I could stop there but I want to underline the Masterful effort with a capital M that was made for the dessert offer. A price at first glance significant but when we realized that a dessert could be worth 3 in other restaurants in terms of quantity, we quickly understood that the restaurateur's state of mind was sharing without compromise... . Everything was homemade, the original dessert accompaniments such as financiers, fruit sorbets, mousses of all kinds including a caramel one which I admit was my favorite ❤️…. It was a real delight and I’m still licking my lips writing this short passage of my feelings. All this to say that I highly recommend this restaurant if you are passing through. You will only risk falling sick with pleasure... what a beautiful feeling.... Goodbye and see you soon 👋

Je fréquente pas mal de restaurants dans la région ce qui me donne la légitimité de recommander le "Coq d'Or" sans hésiter. Aussi bien pour le charmant accueil de la patronne, le choix des plats que j'ai toujours apprécié, et pour le service assuré par Rémy qui est d'une efficacité rarement rencontrée. Bravo. Rémy Martin
