13/12/2025: Several stays for business. Very quiet hotel and good value for money. Friendly staff 😉!

29/03/2026: We went there for lunch at 3 pm and waited until 1 pm for our starters, which was perhaps a little long for my liking. The main courses, however, arrived very quickly. The undeniable quality of the food is evident, from the bread to the main courses, including the starters. It's worth noting that any changes to the dish incur a €1.50 charge. It's a small detail, but it did raise some eyebrows. I recommend eating at this establishment, which has a very pleasant interior.

14/03/2026: The restaurant is now called Aux Saveurs and has nothing to do with its former name. The decor has changed, the menu has changed, and the owner is new. Warm, friendly service, excellent menu. Visit us!

20/02/2026: We had lunch using a "gourmet menu" gift certificate. The dishes were very good, made with high-quality ingredients. The accompanying drinks were excellent. Mr. Kalt doesn't skimp on quality. The service was excellent; kudos to the young woman who served us—she was very witty and elegant. We also appreciated being welcomed by Mr. Kalt. A very enjoyable experience.

06/03/2026: Very slow service, very noisy dining room. And the Caesar salad is best avoided. Opt for the meat dishes, which were decent.

25/02/2026: My colleagues and I came for lunch today and we really enjoyed it. I had an excellent veal onglet steak and the servers were very friendly. The only slight drawback, understandable given how busy it was, was a bit of a wait, but nothing excessive. Excellent!

01/10/2025: I ate there alone on a Sunday evening; the welcome was lovely. The house specialty, Buewespaetzle, was delicious.

08/03/2026: The tarte flambée was okay. In addition to the tarte flambée, which already had mushrooms and melted cheese, we also ordered bacon. We should have asked how much that would cost beforehand. Five euros seems too much. The service was alright, but there's definitely room for improvement. Overall, you don't feel very welcome. It's just a business establishment.

03/10/2025: Unfortunately, it's closed. There's a sign in the window saying the property is for sale. However, the tables inside are still set, which is rather odd.

31/12/2025: Drawn in by the window display, I tried this pastry shop with its colorful but tiny pastries priced between €3 and €4, including an éclair with overly runny cream that threatened to ruin my clothes, and most notably, a galette des rois (king cake) for €20!! The filling was meager but quickly became cloying, perched atop an excessively flaky, carelessly assembled, and tasteless pastry base.

27/09/2025: It's good, but €6 a portion for maxi-eclairs for 6... more expensive than individual éclairs in Paris in the 16th arrondissement... it's up to you...

19/02/2026: Pastry chef, chocolatier, and caterer: a true delight for the palate and a great place for those with a sweet tooth, offering fine and original pastries to enjoy in the tea room or to take away, homemade artisanal ice cream, and even some savory items in the deli section for lunch... Prices are higher than elsewhere, but the quality justifies them...

17/03/2026: Very good. There are only two of them, the owner and her husband, doing everything, so it takes a little longer, but at least it's well-cooked and well-prepared. Very satisfied, I recommend it.

28/02/2026: Le Bœuf Noir is a must-stop for us whenever we're in the area. We always have a wonderful time there, enjoying the warm, local atmosphere that we love. We're particularly fond of the tarte flambée and pizzas, which are always delicious. A special shout-out to Violeta, whose remarkable friendliness greatly contributes to the pleasure of returning.

10/03/2026: A 15-minute walk from the Zenith concert hall, so perfect; very welcoming, affordable prices, very clean and quiet room

08/03/2026: We had a VIP room for one night for a concert at the Zenith. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation for a concert in Strasbourg. It's very well located; you can walk to the Zenith in about fifteen minutes. The staff is fantastic, both at reception and in the restaurant. The room wasn't very warm when we arrived, so we went to reception to ask if it could be turned up. It was no problem at all, and the temperature was just right for us. Breakfast was also very good. In short, you can judge for yourselves, but for us, it will definitely be back for another concert. A little shout-out to the lady in the restaurant: sauerkraut will have to wait until next time!! 🤣 Mr. and Mrs. Remetter

22/03/2026: If you enjoy surprises and logistical challenges, this bar is for you. We had booked "The Den" for 10 people at 7 pm. Arriving at 6:50 pm, we were delighted to discover that our table was already occupied and that the staff had no intention of moving the current occupants. The most impressive part? The waiter proudly showed us the sticky note with our reservation on the counter. He remembered us perfectly well, but apparently, memory is no substitute for a table. To top it all off, we were asked to wait 15 minutes in the cold to get… a table for 6. For 10 people, this is a bold concept of human interaction. A customer experience I would only recommend to those who enjoy drafts and rough calculations.

Her service was quick and always accompanied by a kind word, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It's truly appreciated to be served with such kindness, and it's rare to find such a lovely experience. Thank you to her for her cheerful disposition; my husband and I will definitely return when we are in Strasbourg. The setting is very pleasant.
