23/09/2024: A great discovery with an exceptional welcome and great care. The rooms are very pleasant and the food is divinely good in the restaurant.

21/09/2024: Very good establishment, very good dishes. However, the boss was a little curt with her apprentice, in front of the customers, even though he was pleasant and professional. It's a shame and unprofessional of her. Apart from that I recommend.

14/09/2024: On a terrace after a nice 14 km walk...a good cold drink to recover...the emotions. The pleasant welcome is busy straight away from the dog, very cool water, a terrace for those last rays of sunshine

18/09/2024: Difficult to rate anything other than the service since we were unable to stay in this hotel. Please note, check-in is before 9 p.m. otherwise there is no one there and, as the receptionist says so well, "I have better things to do than wait for you". Courteous and professional exchange, you will understand. You will of course guess that the refund was not made, and the cancellation fees at the level of the amount of the room... 108€. Courtesy and professionalism have therefore given way to kindness and generosity! So yes, we can clear customs via the general conditions of sale or others. However, a little sympathy and humanism will not make anyone in this world turn back. 5 stars for greed and fanaticism, thanks again!!!

16/09/2024: Satisfied with our stay. Room ok, clean. Bedding OK. TV graying out on certain channels in our room, it’s true but we don’t care, we’re not here for that! The manager and his son: very pleasant, kind, helpful. Breakfast ok too. Hot drink, orange juice, croissant, bread, butter, jam, and cheese, yogurt, cereals too.... If you are looking for something modern, something fancy, you will indeed be disappointed, if on the contrary you are looking for a simple and authentic establishment and people: go for it! Thank you for allowing places like this to still exist. Good luck, and certainly see you next time!!

22/08/2024: Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant recommandé par des personnes des environs et nous n’avons pas été déçus. Nous y retournerons en famille car les carpes frites à volonté étaient vraiment très bonnes et bien servies. Nous sommes lorrains et quand on va dans le Sundgau et bien on y déguste les carpes frites. Le personnel est serviable. Les tarifs sont raisonnables. Belle découverte … on reviendra

29/09/2024: Very good address! The welcome was warm, as was the service throughout the meal. The small room was lively, full of regulars and in good spirits. Delicious fried carp as desired, served with a good garlic sauce and a green salad. The recommended wine matched perfectly! We will come back with pleasure!

24/09/2024: at the city of the train, we had the pleasure of lunch at the Mistral, the wind was not bad guiding us, where we were well received, we opted for a fried sausage, mirtylle tart, custard, and after a visit to the museum from the train, two Viennese cafes Thanks for the service.

16/09/2024: Reserved for a group of 21 bikers, we received an excellent welcome. The meal was good and the atmosphere warm. All at a reasonable price. I recommend it even more if you visit the museum straight away.

13/08/2024: Pizza without cheese almost, we only feel the taste of tomato and it's already been 3 times we call this complaint and nothing changes to avoid take a short drive to Mulhouse

22/06/2024: Nous aimons venir régulièrement en Alsace, réputée pour la bonne nourriture, le vin et l'accueil. Le Manala en fait parti ! Pour une première nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est un winstub traditionnel, où j'ai mangé la meilleure bouchée à la Reine ! Un de mes plats préférés. Le personnel est charmant et accueillant. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

17/06/2024: Restaurangen ligger lite på en sidogata men ger valuta för pengarna. Det är ingen lyxrestaurang men man får vällagad mat. Ofta fullsatt så boka bord. Trevlig atmosfär och rask service. Vi har ätit där flera gånger och alltid varit nöjda. Bra förhållande pris mot kvalité.

31/08/2024: Restaurant qui refuse de servire une carafe d'eau et impose la consommation d'eau minérale. .. Nous consommions pourtant un apero chacun et bien sûr le repas, ce refus est donc illégal. 3,20€ les 50 cl de Carola bleue, à 4 ce n'est pas suffisant donc votre addition monte vite ⬆️ Service un peu froid, je me suis sentie mal à l'aise. C'est bien dommage parce que le repas reste d'un bon rapport qualité/ prix.

30/08/2024: Repas bon... mais établissement à fuir... Très froid. Aucune ambiance pour un "chalet"... on se croirait dans un bistrot. Serveuse froide, n'aime pas trop les enfants de 3 et 7 ans qui ne passent pas le repas sur un écran... du coup bein oui c'est des enfants qui s'amusent et parlent... mais derangent...tellement rare de nos jours.. pas de carafe d'eau... juste une bouteille d'eau en 50cl à plus de 3 euros.... Un conseil aller plus tôt à lauberge en face des pistes de luges d'été...

19/08/2024: We worked in the area years ago so returned to show our daughter what great places Alsace and Basel are. Au Boeuf Rouge was one of our favourites in before 2010 and thankfully hasn't changed. Still great food and service. It helps if you can speak a little French of course, but our host was very helpful and we had a great evening. Our daughter finished her meal which is not common. Thanks for your hospitality and great food.

30/05/2024: One word: xenophobic. Did not even get served even though the restaurant was empty at 7pm. Would not recommend to those visiting during Olympic Games and who have difficulty understanding/speaking French.

28/08/2024: Cosy settings, sun bathed deck at lunchtime, welcoming staff, but a really disappointing ruinously expensive (26,50€) "ready made" steak tartare, drown into a stingy mayonnaise dressing - don't even ask them for shallot, caper, pickle, Worcester sauce or Tabasco sauce ! -. Sparse salad dueling the steak, actually identical to the salad served as a first course. No wines by the glass for less than 9 €. This restaurant deserves a name and shame commentary unless reasonable efforts are done to serve decent dishes for the money.

31/03/2024: Through a local recommendation we reserved a table in the Winstub for dinner. We felt completely comfortable. Food top and the wines; Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris also tasted good. The service was discreet and courteous. We will consider the restaurant again 👍
