29/09/2024: we had heard so much about these restaurants that we were disappointed. Due to the very long waiting time we weren't even able to eat all at the same time, because the dishes came in very long intervals. So we were forced to eat our meals directly received without the people with us having theirs... too bad.

29/09/2024: Came to eat at 3, arrived at 12:20 p.m., the waitress took orders for 3 tables arriving after us, (table of 3 also) we ordered just the dish. We had to wait 1h30 before being served. We had asked for spetzeles and we were served cold noodles. We called the waiter who apologized to say that he had more, but no one came to warn us. Let's move on, we asked for the sauce on the side, and no, the dish goes back to the kitchen. Then finally at the tasting, all 3 dishes were cold... The cordon with cheese.. but raw! The red cabbage and chestnuts were dry. We then asked for bread which arrived warm on the surface, but unfortunately, frozen inside. We had already come to eat at this establishment, and we had a very good meal. We learned at the end of the meal of the change of ownership... Unfortunately this will be the last time we come...

20/08/2024: Un accueil et une cuisine généreux, le sourire, aucun stress et un plaisir immense d'arriver à la ferme après une randonnée (et un peu de montée). Un endroit hors du temps, chaleureux et familial, une cuisine comme chez nos grand-mères. Et une vue imprenable sur les vosges. Merci à Colette et sa famille pour ce moment simple et heureux.

07/08/2024: Magnificent place ideal for recharging your batteries. Totally isolated. Remember to make a reservation if you want to eat on site. Possibility of getting into a vehicle for people with reduced mobility.

04/09/2024: An address that you would like to keep to yourself, that's how wonderful it is at Alisiers. If you can do without a pool and spa, this is the place for you. You can enjoy breathtaking views from the restaurant, the terrace and some rooms, as well as light, local, tasty cuisine with vegetables from their own garden. There are excellent wine recommendations to accompany the meal. But above all, the warm owners Caroline and Matthias Degouy create a feel-good atmosphere without being intrusive. The charm of this hotel-restaurant is incomparable. Of course, the beds are very comfortable, the towels are fluffy and the rooms are absolutely clean. It's just difficult to leave because you don't want to leave. Lapoutroie is an ideal starting point for hikes or visits to beautiful villages and towns in Alsace. We would like to thank Caroline, Matthias, Benoit, Jeanne and the entire team for an unforgettable celebration. Everything was perfect!

If you haven't yet had lunch or dinner with Jean-Baptiste and his wife, you have to do it....👍👍 Very warm welcome, Very fine cuisine and with seasonal products😋😋 The chef prepares everything he serves you with care and attention to detail. It's delicious, and in a very very pleasant setting. And the private terrace is really very, very pleasant. You must SEE AND TASTE this DELICIOUS CUISINE from an EXCELLENT CHEF.

11/09/2024: Great place to get dinner in Eguisheim. Choucroute was delicious and the service was super friendly! No reservations needed.

09/09/2024: Excellent Alsace food in a nice atmosphere. Despite not having a reservation we were made welcome and shown to a seat within 5 mins.of arrival. Food was fresh, well presented & tasty. Portions were generous and the wine list extensive and well priced for the region .

15/09/2024: Traditional Alsatian restaurant, home cooking. We booked late for 16 people. To facilitate organization, we placed our order in advance (the day before). Our entire order was taken care of and served on time. Children and starters at the same time. And the rest followed perfectly. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our requests. She gave us good advice on the wine. We ate well and had a good time.

14/09/2024: Another one of these special discoveries in Alsace. Tugged away in the sleepy hidden village of Widensolen, about 45 minutes by car from Freiburg the “Auberge du Moulin” serves excellent alcasien home cooked food as well as specialties, which come close to One Star cooking. And this is no surprise! The former Head-Chef of the “Schwarzer Adler” in the Kaiserstuhl, Germany - Anibal Strubinger, who used to be awarded there with one Michelin Star for many, many years and this wife, Dominique Gutleben, a chef in her own right, now run the kitchen in this lovely and peaceful Gasthaus since 2022. And so their menu reads like a who-is-who of the Alsacien and French classics: Duck Foie Gras, Snails, Pate en Croute, Tarte Flambee with different toppings, Calf’s head, Veal Cordon Bleu, Veal Kidneys, Breaded Escalope, Vintage Beef steak, Ducks Breast to name a few. In addition, you may order in advance baeckaoffa, paella, Chicken in Salt with trouffles and Trouffles puff pastry and much more. The wine list is excellent, their two daughters run the superb service and above all, the prices are more than reasonable. Wow! Make sure you reserve your table!

12/09/2024: Nice place but surprise: when we asked for a carafe of water, we were refused!!! Not very commercial and incomprehensible to us. We consumed wine and aperitifs!!!.

19/08/2024: Very good table, in a magnificent setting, not easy to find. Consider booking. I recommend without problem.

20/08/2024: Coming for the first time to eat frogs, we were not disappointed! Quantity and quality were there. The crème brûlée was also excellent. The only downside was that the wine list only offered one bottle of Riesling, which is surprising in Alsace, when many wine regions were widely represented. This bottle was good, which is the most important thing.

30/07/2024: I have absolutely nothing against paying a little more (25 euros on average per dish) but at this price level I think we have the right to demand quality... Salmon starter but half the plate filled with green salad, the same for the plate of hot goat cheese (accompanied by 3 small pieces of frozen bread and plate filled with salad) I add that we had to return the plate because the hot goat cheese was not It was not melted, the cordon bleu accompanied by vegetables on the menu with Munster sauce, I had to ask for it, the cordon bleu without cheese, it looked more like a breaded escalope.. positive point the good liver of the owner who offered us this last and the frog legs which were perfect.. but still what a disappointment... the setting is magnificent, we thought it was a good address.. 77 euros with the free dish, a 750 cl Perrier at 6.50 !! This restaurant gives the impression that everything is done economically for a maximum price to make as much margin as possible!! I invite the boss to go eat at Fred's in Issenheim, and taste and see their cordon bleu at the same price!! We eat much better in other restaurants for the same price!! It's something completely different. And the icing on the cake: I settle the matter with my restaurant and bank card, the boss who says to me "ah you have 2 cards, you hey beh" but I do and pay as I want".. personal we will have seen that I eat better at home!

26/08/2024: Rather very disappointed by what was served to us... Raw vegetables, grated carrots, grated celery, grated zucchini with canteen type sauce, salad out of the bag, McDonald's type fries... For a high price: 17 euros with a slice of meat pie when even… Dessert from the daily menu summary: scoop of ice cream and rather industrial fruit brunoise it seems😔

16/11/2024: Très bon accueil à presque 14h00 et un très bon repas avec carpe frite et civet de cerf pour finir par une forêt noire revisitée.

21/08/2024: We ate with our daughter during our vacation in the Vosges and we were won over by the cuisine and the family atmosphere of the place. The cuisine is really very good! Excellent even! If we have the opportunity to return to the area, we will visit again without hesitation!

27/09/2024: First, I want to share my experience about the service. I’ve been to many places and restaurants in France, so I understand the French culture and service. However, at this restaurant, the service from the lady with short blonde hair was really terrible, disappointing👎🏻 no smile, no welcome, and she lacked a service-minded attitude. In contrast, the young man was friendly and smiling, which was appreciated. The foie gras was great, but everything else was just okay, nothing special. I rarely leave negative reviews, but if you’re looking for good service and a warm welcome, this restaurant is one to avoid☹️

20/09/2024: Die Begrüßung war schon ohne Augenkontakt, luststlos uns zu bedienen, die Wartezeiten zu den Bestellungen ewig lang, das Essen war gut, aber der Service eine Katastrophe. Wir haben nach dem Essen über 35 Minuten auf die Rechnung warten müssen. Insgesamt würde ich sagen, das die Inhaberin auf deutsche Gäste keine Lust hat. Wir sind in letzter Zeit viel in Frankreich unterwegs und haben viele nette Franzosen kennen gelernt, das hat uns einen Schritt zurück geworfen, schade.

24/07/2024: We fell in love with the infrastructure of this typical hotel in the region. We were welcomed with the smile and humor of a receptionist that we will not forget, she brightened our stay! The rooms are spacious and the bed very comfortable, we will come back, me and my darling, without hesitation!

04/07/2024: The hotel-Restaurant at l’EPOQUE was truly incredible. However, the establishment was taken over a few months ago so I took the liberty of changing the name of the hotel restaurant because unfortunately there is no longer an À la Vignette restaurant at the moment and the necessary not been done on the owner's side..

07/07/2024: Bon restaurant sans l'ensemble , malgré le monde l'accueil a été sympathique , la déco est dans son jus comme on dit mais on s'y sens bien . La carte est variée , on y trouve son bonheur . Les prix sont raisonnables .

19/09/2024: Dans un petit village de Haute Vienne, voici une belle étape dans une auberge sympathique. L'accueil est assuré avec professionnalisme et attention familiale. Les salades, gourmandes et généreuses, les rognons, les magrets, les brochettes ou le cabillaud ont été plébiscités Pour les desserts, le choix est vaste: tartes, nougats, glaces... Toute variante raisonnable dans les menus ou les régimes est favorablement écoutée... Et si vous passez un vendredi soir, n'hésitez pas à consommer ou à emporter de belles pizzas qui combleront la plus grande des faims. Merci
