30/08/2026: A wide selection of different pretzels, both savory and sweet, which is fantastic! Plus, you can ask them to be heated up right away. They're not the best we've ever had, but they're still very good!

28/08/2026: The salt pretzels are far too salty, made with poor-quality salt; it's a shame.

22/07/2026: The burger we were served was almost raw and still cold inside. When we complained, the already partially cut burger was put back on the grill (apparently with the sauce still on) and then served again with the now-cold fries. After another complaint, the fries were reluctantly replaced, but not the burger. The server initially refused to help us with our third complaint. Only after a heated and somewhat loud discussion, which other guests overheard, did another server arrive. Finally, the burger and fries were freshly prepared and served. That was definitely our first and last visit to this restaurant.

18/07/2026: A cold, unremarkable pancake and an iced tea with a glass of melted ice cubes. The toilet is indeed filthy and lonely, causing us to wait in line for a long time. The waitress certainly did not have a friendly demeanor. Just another tourist trap, then.

16/09/2026: Very good selection of fresh sandwiches. Two sizes with lots of different ingredients. Took awhile to decide. 😉 Recommend if you are looking for a quick bite to refuel while enjoying site seeing in Colmar. And inexpensive… Seating available inside and outside.

15/09/2026: Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the customer service. The sandwiches are good, but the service is really not great. Having come several times this summer, I witnessed some strange moments. One of the saleswomen (older and blonde) humiliated the younger ones several times in front of numerous customers. One day, she decided to let a gentleman who was behind me in line go ahead of me, without any explanation. When I politely pointed out that I had been waiting longer, she didn't bother to apologize or even look at me; she just sighed. The gentleman, embarrassed by the situation, apologized several times, but she didn't bother to do anything about it.

28/09/2026: Terrible service, it took a long half hour for an ice cream.

27/09/2026: I arrived too late to sit on the terrace and was in the middle of a run, so I asked for some water just as they were closing up. Despite this, I was served ice-cold water with such friendliness! It was lovely to see! Thank you for the service and keep it up. I will definitely come back to dine in.

18/09/2026: It's truly delightful to receive such a warm welcome. The chef's beef bourguignon, served with pasta and steamed multicolored carrots, is delicious. The dining room is spacious, and there's even a large terrace for enjoying a coffee. A big thank you to the entire team for this wonderful time spent in your company.

25/05/2026: The hotel doesn't match the photos on the website at all. We had two rooms for two nights on the second floor of a very old building overlooking the main road. There was no air conditioning, and it was difficult to leave the windows open because of the heavy traffic. There was no elevator, no hairdryer, and the towel was worn and needed replacing. The room cost €70, but it was far too expensive for what was offered.

23/05/2026: I booked three nights at this hotel and I'm glad I did. It's well located, surrounded by greenery and well-maintained. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and quite spacious, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is well-equipped, and the toilet is adequate. Breakfast is included. This hotel is well-maintained and offers unbeatable value for money.

03/09/2026: The service was incredibly slow; the young man was wiping trays instead of taking orders! No smile, no friendliness whatsoever. Honestly, what kind of terrible customer service is this?

14/08/2026: We went there on a sweltering day because it looked so good. When we arrived it was closed, and it seems it's been closed for a long time, even though Google said it was open. Update your Google listing and have some consideration for those who want to patronize your business; you're incredibly careless.

26/07/2026: Excellent! The cordon bleu was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. A real treat, top-notch service. I highly recommend it!

07/10/2026: I had high expectations going into this Alsatian restaurant in Kaysersberg, but unfortunately, I left quite disappointed. I chose a baeckeoffe, an iconic dish of the region, and I was expecting something much more flavorful and generous. The dish was okay, but really lacked character and flavor for my taste. For dessert, I had a blueberry tart, and that was another big disappointment. It didn't seem fresh and had an unpleasant refrigerated taste, which really spoiled the end of the meal. I think it's a shame, especially in a town as beautiful and touristy as Kaysersberg, where people come specifically for authentic and delicious Alsatian cuisine. The experience unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations.

05/10/2026: We should have looked at the reviews before sitting down. We are on a tour group in a small town and just went in. We were not that hungry so 10 people ordered 8 drinks and 3 of Tarte Flambee. ( pizza like dish that is big enough to share when 10 people are not hungry). After the drinks came, one person asked for a small empty glass to share a beer with her husband because she has a cold. She was rudely told she can’t have a glass. A few minutes later a man ( manager or owner) came and very rudely told 2 people who are waiting to share the food but didn’t order their own drink to leave!!! I have traveled all over the world and never encountered such rude behavior!! Then I looked and they got 2.7 stars- well it should be lower. NEVER EAT HERE. The food was also mediocre. Looks nice from outside and busy because it is in the corner.

27/09/2026: I would especially like to thank the waiter for his kindness, he is smiling and helpful, he welcomes the guest with pleasure. The food, drinks and dessert are delicious.

26/09/2026: It's decent for the rating. It was fast, and the waiter was friendly and nice. The taste is like frozen pizza with a bit of freshness added.

11/10/2026: The service wasn't very friendly. The products were expensive and not very good.

11/10/2026: Good dessert, but it is expensive. We sat outside and watched the people stroll, which was nice.

17/08/2026: What a disappointment! My family and I used to go there for a few years when the previous owner was still there. Today we were there and had a two-hour wait due to a serious lack of organization. As for the food, it used to be good. They were turning people away at 1 p.m. I felt sorry for the poor waitress who couldn't do anything about it and seemed completely fed up with the situation. It's a shame, it used to be nice, but that was then.

13/08/2026: This isn't the Schtouwa we used to know. There weren't enough vegetables with the hanger steak, so we ordered a salad on the side. The steak seems smaller since the change of ownership, and the shallot sauce must be a pre-packaged (gelatinous) mix. The dining room was half empty; perhaps it's the holidays, but maybe customers are going elsewhere. Get your act together.

15/01/2026: Quite disappointed, not to say totally. Having come regularly for a few years before the opening of its direct competitor (Sch...) a few meters away, it seems to me that no improvements have been made: No friendly welcome, no smiles, dirty outdoor tables and frangipane at €14.90, really not great.

23/12/2025: I often get my various sandwiches, bread, and pastries there... A real treat, plus the staff are very friendly, which is why I'm a regular.

08/09/2026: I wanted to order tonight and, surprise, surprise, no more real charcuterie like pork, ham, bacon, etc. Everything is halal. I have nothing against that, but let customers choose what they want to eat. I bought halal meat, but you shouldn't make it all halal; some things just don't taste the same. Personally, I won't be ordering again. You've lost a customer.

20/08/2026: My groovy bacon pizza didn't taste the same as usual. The bacon was really bad, the texture was strange, and the taste was nothing like the bacon I'd used to have—it was disgusting. The same goes for the pepperoni pizza; its taste has changed recently. It's outrageous that, at the price of pizzas, they'd switch to lower-quality ingredients. It bothers us, but we won't be ordering again.
