04/08/2026: We stopped at Le Tremplin during a stage of the GR10 hiking trail and were delighted with our stay! The room is tastefully decorated, everything is clean and cozy, with a magnificent view of the mountains. The owner is incredibly welcoming and prepares delicious, flavorful, and incredibly generous homemade meals! We are vegetarians and were given a special 'hiker' menu, which we thoroughly enjoyed! We felt so warmly and generously welcomed that we felt right at home! Thank you again!

26/06/2026: We are five hikers passing through on the GR10. We had an excellent and generous meal at a reasonable price! J.M. is attentive and generous, and gave us great advice for the upcoming stages of the GR10. Top-notch! I highly recommend it.

29/05/2026: It's changed its name: O'Fast Good But really just Good. It could become Fast again if the boss puts down his cigarette and tea to help his employee… The food lives up to what you'd expect from a kebab

23/05/2026: I stopped by on a whim and I'm really not disappointed. I'll gladly come back; it just goes to show that chance works in mysterious ways.

09/09/2026: So what more can I say than this place is to be avoided, even fled from. Forget about politeness. Forget about a smile. The service is equally nonexistent. There isn't a menu, so you have to choose for yourself, and as for prices, you're cheaper to have a coffee under the Eiffel Tower than in this bar. Now, for a truly authentic experience, just look at the restrooms. It says it all. It's a reflection of the people who work there, apparently. And then we wonder why so many cafes are closing down.

28/08/2026: The food was decent but the portions were meager. The children's menu included one sirloin steak and fries for €12. The local meat platter for an adult consisted of one thin sausage, one piece of sirloin, a generous amount of fries, and a small vegetable scramble; hardly any meat, and it cost €20. The worst part, without a doubt, was the service; except for one of the waitresses, a senior woman, the rest were inattentive and rather rude. I absolutely do not recommend it.

25/09/2026: Empty bar/tobacconist and no place to sit down for a coffee. Absurd policies and an extremely unfriendly waitress; avoid at all costs.

03/09/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS, APPALLING, SHAMEFUL woman After my card was declined, I saw the woman make an angry face. She hesitated to repeat the process! Because, and I quote, "it wastes paper" ;)) Unbelievable! Your response is as petty as you are. Just look at how you reply to comments; it says a lot ;)

16/05/2026: In a bucolic setting, the welcome was outstanding. You're surrounded by nature, with a warm, homey decor. The traditional dishes were excellent. The terrace overlooks the natural surroundings. A truly wonderful discovery...

29/11/2025: A very pleasant welcome and the staff were very attentive to the customers on the day of our visit. The food was very good and plentiful.

06/04/2026: The pelota court restaurant. Not quite the same quality as before, but the atmosphere is still there. Excellent value for money.

08/10/2026: Disappointing, long wait between courses. Bland food; a simple cafeteria would be better considering the price of the menu. Terrible service. Filthy restrooms. Avoid at all costs.

07/10/2026: €26 set menu. Fish soup barely lukewarm, no croutons or rouille... The dish was good, but it was missing trout and duck breast. The portions were very small! The white wine was at room temperature, so it wasn't great.

18/04/2026: Fantastic stay, as usual! Superb, very pleasant campsite. Beautiful unobstructed view from the mobile home. The green spaces are lovely and very well maintained. We've already had a chance to enjoy the pool. The accommodations are comfortable and modern, and the staff are very friendly! Looking forward to our next holiday! 🏖🌊🌴

17/04/2026: Pleasant campsite, very friendly staff. Only downside: the website boasts a brand new spa... but it wasn't finished and was still under construction during my stay!

01/09/2026: Great place to eat. Varied menu, with several types of burgers, salads, cured meats, cheeses... Very reasonable prices and generous portions. Carefully prepared cuisine with quality ingredients. Friendly and efficient service. We had dinner here after 9:30 pm, and they served us pleasantly. Easy parking. A great choice.

20/09/2026: As mentioned earlier, the bald, fifty-something man was extremely unpleasant. We waited 20 minutes only to have the menu literally flung at us and no one bother to take our order. So we left and received the charming comment, "Yeah, right." Avoid at all costs.

17/09/2026: For several years now, we've been coming to Saint Jean de Luz for our holidays and have made the Majestic our home away from home. It's a welcoming place where the food is good and the atmosphere is often festive. This is due both to the entertainment in the square and the charm of the staff. We had the opportunity, while chatting with them, to learn more about the town and its surroundings. Once again, we were very satisfied and will be back.

01/09/2026: 5 stars for the quiche Lorraine, Basque cake (cherry), and the savory crepe with olives and bacon – all delicious. Beautiful, clean pastry shop in a charming little town center. Friendly owner.

31/08/2026: The Gateau Basque for two days old.. how is that even legal? I also asked for a 4 person and 6 person cake and they gave me two 4 person cake. One described as 6 people when it was obviously the same size. The date I have proof because under the cake it shows the date it was baked. They shouldn’t be selling old, stale Gateau Basque.

26/08/2026: For 2 people, we paid the same price as in the Leclerc cafeteria for 3, and the toilets were disgusting.
