17/05/2026: Restaurant-wise: what a wonderful experience! Passing through the area, we had a lovely evening out for two. A very warm welcome, full of smiles. The wine was absolutely divine: an incredible bouquet! Everything was top-notch, from the main course to the dessert (oh, the French toast was to die for!). I highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: APPALLING! I'm giving it one star because I can't give zero!! UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED! A SHAME! As a long-time regular at this restaurant, it had been at least two years since my last visit… and this will be the last! Where to begin? The restaurant was filthy! The tablecloth had holes, undoubtedly from cigarette burns (the inside tablecloth). I didn't even dare go to the restroom when I saw the state of the floor… Sure, leaving your dog in the restaurant is one thing, but you should at least clean up all the hair it leaves everywhere! That's the bare minimum… And you don't let it jump on customers while they're eating or bark at them demanding what's on their plate… that's just not done! Although, given what we were served, perhaps we would have been better off giving in to it! In short, we ordered an aperitif and were served a tapenade that was neither here nor there: bland and uninteresting. I ordered a rare ribeye steak with porcini mushroom sauce, and my partner ordered a lamb shank. My ribeye was completely overcooked! The frozen porcini mushrooms released water into the dish, giving it a very unpleasant taste. The vegetables were swimming in fat, and the Camargue rice was so dry it was crunchy! On top of that, the dishes were utterly bland. I never salt my food, but this time, I had to empty the salt shaker twice because there was absolutely no flavor! As for my partner and his lamb shank with vegetables and potatoes… we wondered if the meat hadn't been deep-fried! Even the potatoes were mushy from being swimming in fat. We tried to get the manager's attention to point everything out, but after about twenty walk-ups without a single glance at our table, all while she was glued to her phone even though there were only three tables in the restaurant… we gave up and ate anyway. When she finally came to clear the table and ask for our opinion, I calmly explained everything that was wrong. Her response? "Oh, really? But you still ate your plate…" I then told her that I'm diabetic—which she knew since we'd discussed it during drinks while I was giving myself my injection before the meal—and that I therefore had to eat since I'd already had my injection. I also pointed out that she hadn't come by once during the meal to check if everything was alright. Not wanting to be unpleasant, I even apologized when paying, hoping I hadn't offended her, while sincerely telling her that it wasn't the restaurant I used to know. And then her response: "Well, to each their own..." She completely disregarded our comments and the fact that we had eaten very poorly! Then came the bill: 105 euros... An amount that's even harder to swallow considering the mediocrity of what was on our plates! Frozen meals from Picard are better and cheaper! Not a single gesture of goodwill to soften the blow of this disaster. Not even a simple "sorry" or an explanation for such a catastrophe. She couldn't have cared less. Well, Madam Manager, your restaurant has certainly changed! I used to come to an establishment that knew how to welcome its customers and delight their palates with quality menus. Today, you might as well go to the local snack bar: it's better, cheaper, and even the service is friendlier.

22/04/2026: Excellent welcome and service from the staff. Very professional. Quiet location, very well connected to the center of Nîmes by bus. Supermarket nearby and a good pizzeria right across the street. The facilities and breakfast were very good. A place to return to.

18/04/2026: Very difficult to find. Far from the station. There was no WIFI in the room and a lack of outlets in the common area. The bed was small, yet comfortable. There was a cubby hole by the bed to store things, and a huge locker. I appreciate the assistance in locating the bus stop (The bus never came. Had to take a train.) in trying to move on.

21/03/2026: Unfriendly person called at 7:15 PM to order 6 pizzas, told me 8:50 PM, but I finally picked up my pizzas at 9:30 PM when no one was home. This gentleman should find another line of work.

13/03/2026: I had my doubts after reading some of the reviews. What a pleasant surprise! I chose the Carnivore, and it was delicious—a pizza loaded with toppings and with a high-quality crust. A true Italian pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. In short, a real treat!

06/07/2026: We regularly order from the McDonald's in Beaucaire, but several times now our order has been incomplete. Most of the time, we only realize it once we get home, forcing us to call or leave without. What's most disappointing is that each time we complain, there's no compensation or real solution offered. Mistakes happen, but when they occur so frequently, it becomes truly frustrating. We hope that more attention will be paid to order preparation to prevent this situation from happening again.

05/07/2026: Drive-thru ordering kiosks out of order Manager unable to make a decision and told me to leave after a 30-minute wait with no solution once I got to the payment kiosk This isn't a rookie mistake; I've seen this person at McDonald's for years… zero customer service.

22/06/2026: If you want to be treated badly, without a smile, with a sour look when you ask for a glass of water with your coffee... in short, a terrible welcome from the moment you wake up, it's just perfect for ruining the start of your day.

14/06/2026: A good meal; we had a roasted beef stew (gardianne) and Camembert cheese, and we weren't disappointed. The portions were generous, and we left feeling satisfied. The only slight drawback is the menu itself, which is admittedly a bit kitschy. The servers were very welcoming. One last essential point: the reasonable prices, which is a welcome change these days.

13/06/2026: I don't recommend it. The staff is unfriendly. We were given a table that was too small for three people, even though many other tables were available. There was nothing to nibble on with the cocktail... And finally, we had to pay as soon as the drinks arrived. Very unpleasant! We'll go somewhere else.

04/06/2026: Very bad experience. I am very disappointed with this hotel. During my stay, there was no water, which is an unacceptable problem for a hotel. Furthermore, the staff were neither friendly nor helpful and offered no solution to the problem. The lack of professionalism and attention to customers made my stay very unpleasant. I do not recommend this hotel.

03/06/2026: !! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR SCHOOL TRIPS!! We had a terrible experience, I can't understand how this place is still open. Terrible staff, only willing to speak French and who won't even look you in the eye. The room for 4 people was tiny, with the beds almost touching. There were 3 outlets, one of which was half broken because it came out of the wall as soon as you unplugged it, and the others were inconvenient because you had to move the bed or the nightstand to use them. The plaster was peeling off the wall. The curtains were dirty, I don't want to know what. A friend of mine found the mirror BROKEN and the curtains stained brown as soon as he entered the room. But the worst part of this hotel is the service in general. They never changed our sheets, but there's worse: one day they left us without clean towels or new toilet paper, and the next day they didn't even make our bed. We found the room exactly as we'd left it before leaving. The staff is truly rude and unhelpful. I'll end with this anecdote: on the first day we sat down to dinner after a long flight and found a SPIDER on the tablecloth that crawled into a girl's glass. We also had to have about four forks replaced because they were all dirty, poorly washed, and rusty. All this right next to the kitchen; needless to say, I had a lot of questions about the sanitary conditions of that place. I won't even comment on the food; just read the other reviews.

12/10/2025: This isn't a restaurant, more like a fast-food joint. The hygiene is questionable; the chair backs were filthy. The bread comes from a supermarket; there were baguettes on the counter still in their paper packaging. The foie gras was industrial, not homemade. The warm goat cheese salad consisted of a lot of green salad and three small slices of goat cheese log. The cheese plate included three small pieces: two pieces of Camembert and one slice of goat cheese log. The prawns were okay, nothing special, served with a small ramekin of plain white rice. The glasses were mismatched on the same table. I strongly advise against going to this restaurant.
