26/03/2026: A fantastic weekend ski trip! The magnificent view of the snow-covered mountains from the balcony upon waking was a real treat. At first glance, the room might seem a little small for three people, but this is more than compensated for by a large bathroom and a very spacious closet, perfect for ski equipment. Breakfast was included, varied, and enjoyable, with a panoramic view. The location is ideal, right on the slopes, with everything you need right there (rentals, shops, a Sherpa supermarket, restaurants, and bars). The staff was very welcoming, the games room was a hit with the kids, and the bar was nice for the adults. As for the restaurant, dinner was excellent: delicious and well-prepared dishes with attentive service. The building is a bit dated on the outside, but the interior is warm, cozy, and full of charm. A wonderful discovery – we'll gladly return!

18/03/2026: Like many people, we booked with a lot of apprehension after seeing some bad reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very well located, and you can tell it's recently renovated. My job is to design hotels and tourist residences. I can tell you that for such an old building, the renovation is very well done. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is really varied, and those who say they don't like it are really picky. I recommend the cocktails at the bar, which are perfectly balanced. The bartender is passionate, and if there's an ingredient you don't like, just tell him, and he'll change your mind for sure. If you have the time, consider booking a massage with Magalie; she has magic hands.

13/03/2026: A bad experience at this place, which looked visually inviting. There was a remarkable lack of friendliness, as if we were bothering them, even though we had booked two days in advance. No compensation was offered for changing a dish. They don't accept criticism, which could be beneficial for future improvements. While some dishes were good, others remain to be seen in terms of quantity and quality. Furthermore, hygiene is questionable: the restaurant was disorganized, cramped, and lacked ventilation! Very unpleasant. The dishwashing area was in a deplorable state, and the kitchen wasn't much better. Even though this place is supposed to be a convivial spot for enjoying a good raclette, the lack of ventilation... I unfortunately cannot recommend it.

13/03/2026: We had a reservation for six and arrived five minutes early. However, the table hadn't been prepared beforehand, and we felt like we were intruding! One of the servers went to get a table from outside and put it at the end of another, which blocked the flow of other customers. There was also a lack of ventilation, a loose electrical cable above the door, and poor hygiene... And let's not even mention the waitress who must have lost her smile and friendliness on the slopes. But their pizzas, at least, were good!

06/03/2026: I've been going to this pizzeria regularly since 2012, and over the years the pizzas have gotten smaller and smaller, with fewer and fewer toppings, and the crust isn't great. Today, a young man served me, and he was really unpleasant. It's a real shame.

25/01/2026: A wonderful evening in St. Lary. Warm and cozy mountain decor with a great fireplace area for pre-dinner drinks. Excellent all-you-can-eat buffet: tartiflette reimagined as cabriflette (a delight!), quality local produce, and a Baked Alaska to die for! Smiling, professional, and super efficient staff 🤩.

29/10/2025: Clearly, the waiter or owner should find another line of work! Retail or the restaurant industry are definitely not for him. He's incredibly unpleasant; it's like he's going to jump out at you the moment you say hello! Dirty coffee, rude waiter: run away!

10/05/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The waiter (owner?) greeted us with a toothpick in his mouth… We were told about items being out of stock when the menu was presented. Okay, lots of items were out of stock, but that was acceptable… We ordered, and when I ordered my wok, I was told they were out of stock, even though initially it said 2 out of 5 were unavailable. Well, that was awkward because there weren't many options left that interested me. Anyway, we asked for white wine. No wine list, apparently they'd changed the menu. Okay, they offered us only one bottle or a carafe. We accepted the bottle. It wasn't cold at all! This is getting tiresome… The man was still chewing on his toothpick. We waited for our order. It was taking forever. We finally got our food: an €0.18 burger with a pathetic, industrial cheddar cheese, half a disgusting, squashed hamburger patty (made to look like a whole patty), and a tiny bit of salad. Half the plate was cold!! A disgrace! 18 euros!! They should at least justify it, and clearly they didn't! This meal was a disaster. My husband paid a bill for a bottle of wine and five courses totaling €120. We consumed, we paid, fine! But that's it. It's a shame, we come to St. Lary very regularly, and we're loyal to places where we receive good service. It won't be at your place! Customers, you want to eat well and get your money's worth! Go to La Galette d'Or, ICC, Le Central, and other restaurants just next door!

04/05/2026: It was incredibly long. And yet, we ate at this restaurant outside of peak hours. Luckily, my child was very patient! We arrived around 12:20 PM and at 1:13 PM, still nothing! We didn't order anything complicated; everything was on the menu. Finally, the food arrived, and disaster struck! The vegetables were far too vinegary! We couldn't eat them. So we left. No apologies, no attempt to find a solution... We won't be back.

09/03/2026: I wanted to try it despite the 3.6 rating. I ordered a chorizo ​​and merguez pizza: quite disappointed. The merguez had almost no flavor and the crust lacked salt. Overall, a rather bland pizza. The 3.6 rating seems justified to me.

13/12/2025: How dare this place still call itself a “restaurant”??? We had reserved a table for 15 people around 8 pm. Some arrived at 8:35 pm, others were still stuck on the road because of the farmers. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was icy: we immediately felt like we were intruding. The waitress curtly announced: “It’ll be a straight course.” That’s professionalism for you. As a restaurant owner myself, this kind of attitude is simply unacceptable and I would never tolerate it in my establishment.
