18/01/2026: What a disappointment! It's a shame the Sunday menu doesn't live up to the daily specials served during the week. The choice is very limited, and there's no way to customize it to individual tastes. For example, removing the goat cheese from a hamburger and replacing it with a little Emmental would have been a better idea than serving the same hamburger with nothing else. The Caribbean, Colonel, and mint ice creams were excellent.

18/01/2026: The rib steak à la carte, served with sachets of mayo and ketchup, at €55, deserved a homemade Roquefort sauce, barbecue sauce...

10/06/2026: Perfect hotel to go to when coming to Lourdes. Such a peaceful spot. Only a few minutes' walk down the road from the bus stop that takes you to the airport. Right by the riverside, and as you come out of the hotel, just across the bridge, you enter into all the stores and restaurants. Small supermarket just across the bridge also, which was super handy. Approximately an 8-minute walk through the shops to get to the sanctuary -perfect walking distance. Staff are brilliant, very kind and respectful. The bar was open till around 11 pm; they served us coffee after we came back a bit late from the prayer at the church. So kind and respectful. Would highly recommend . The rooms are very neat, simple, and clean regardless of what size. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend for a peaceful trip of prayer coming to Lourdes. 06/06/2026: The rooms are very poorly soundproofed; you can hear all the taps, showers, and toilets in the other rooms, as well as street noise. My room was right next to the elevator, so I could hear the machinery—it was impossible to sleep. I went downstairs to ask for a different room, and the response was that the hotel was full. There was also a gentleman who couldn't sleep in his room because of the heat; they gave him an old fan. The air conditioning doesn't work. In short, a terrible hotel.

16/03/2026: A weekend in La Mongie with delicious and refreshing breaks at Bocadillo! A terrace with a superb view on sunny days, generous platters and tapas, and a special mention to the servers for their kindness and humor! 👍😄

12/03/2026: Warm and friendly welcome. Excellent food. Visited twice in the same week during the February school holidays. We will definitely be back next year.

17/02/2026: Customers for 40 years, we are light years away from the early days: Regarding the royal couscous: Only one skewer instead of two, filled with four tiny pieces of meat instead of the five or six large ones we used to have. Semolina is served in an open dish, not a closed tagine that retains heat. Vegetable couscous is served alongside the royal couscous, which is meant to be shared, but the entire portion is for one person, not two. The dining room is very cold, portable heaters (gas cylinders) are prohibited, and the overall heating is woefully inadequate. General cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

06/05/2026: I'm a regular at this chain, but I especially applaud the service at the Ibos location. Impeccable service with kindness and attentiveness, especially at 7:10 pm – truly impressive! Jason and his colleague touched me deeply with their kindness and patience. The pizzas were fantastic, and piping hot too – perfect. A huge thank you to you both! 😍😍 I have a Marie Blanchere closer to home, but I'll definitely be back just for your warm welcome. Thank you again, and please don't change a thing! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

10/04/2026: I'm a big fan of this place. It's not my first time. It's well-organized and efficient: you don't have to wait in line long without a reservation, and you're seated very quickly. The suckling pig was delicious. The servers have a great sense of humor, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend it.

16/06/2026: A true gem in Vic! Everything is absolutely fresh and homemade, you can taste it from the first bite. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The cuisine is truly gourmet, with perfectly balanced flavors and elegant presentation. A huge thank you also to the waitress, who was lovely, always smiling, and attentive from beginning to end of the meal. Her professionalism and kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend this place without hesitation. We will definitely be back!

03/06/2026: The reception is clearly unprofessional: you often feel condescending and like you don't really have a choice; everything is imposed on you with a "this or nothing" approach. Breakfast is very limited: no buffet, you have to ask for what you want, and service ends as early as 9:00 a.m. The same is true for dinner, served no later than 8:30 p.m., sometimes giving the impression that you're intruding by arriving at this otherwise reasonable hour. The food is generally disappointing: small portions, poorly seasoned dishes, and nothing special. As for the room, cleanliness leaves much to be desired: the toilet was used before our arrival without being flushed, there was very little toilet paper, and the cleaning was inadequate. Several spiders were present in the room and even on the bed. After the night, I developed itchy arms, which raises serious questions about the condition and hygiene of the bedding. An experience I will not repeat. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

17/08/2025: Two very kind women made us some delicious thin-crust pizzas. They had different flavors that we hadn't tried before, and we really enjoyed them.

19/05/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at Hôtel Solitude during our visit to Lourdes. The hotel is conveniently located near the Lourdes Sanctuary, which made it very easy for us to attend the various activities and return to rest during the day. A special mention goes to Vanessa at the front desk, who was always warm, welcoming, and served us with a smile. She gave us excellent suggestions on things to do around the area and was consistently helpful throughout our stay. We always looked forward to seeing her when we returned to the hotel each night because of how friendly and genuine she was. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Both the breakfast and dinner were quite good and we enjoyed the meals provided during our stay. There was a minor issue with the hot water in the bathroom, as the shower temperature required fairly fine adjustment to avoid the water becoming too hot too quickly. However, this was manageable and did not significantly affect our overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lourdes.

07/01/2026: I recently ordered the Kothu Seafood and Roti, and overall, it was a great experience. The Seafood Fried Rice is easily the standout dish—100% recommended for anyone visiting. While the Chilli Chicken wasn't to my personal taste (it leans more toward a sweet Chinese style rather than the spicy kick I expected), the Chicken Curry is top-notch and a must-try. To finish, the Ganapathy Tea is excellent; it has a nostalgic, homemade quality that truly reminds me of childhood flavors from Sri Lanka. I will definitely be back for the curry and rice!

02/03/2026: So, how can I put it?! This restaurant has absolutely no authenticity. The garbure (cabbage soup) was disgusting, tasted like vinegar, it was awful. I even had a stomach ache that same evening. And the "Puit d'Amour" (Well of Love) dessert? Honestly, it was just ice cream with cream on top for 11 euros. Seriously, avoid this restaurant; it has nothing authentic about it, not even the owner, the cook, or the waitress. Look elsewhere; there are real mountain restaurants in Cauterets.

09/11/2025: TOURIST TRAP. Four of us went for dinner. No waiting; there were free tables when we arrived, and they seated us right away. When we ordered, they told us they didn't have some dishes, the escalopes, for example. The problem was the food: IT'S TERRIBLE. And it's a shame because just seeing the fantastic pizza oven inside the restaurant makes you expect something good, but no... nothing could be further from the truth. The pizzas were bad, really, really bad. It's just oven-baked pizza dough on which they then place the toppings... nothing more, a semi-liquid tomato paste on the hot base that turns it into an inedible, chewy mess... horrendous. The two Caprese salads we ordered consisted of ONE sliced ​​tomato, half a slice for each salad, and a burrata... charging 9 euros for that is highway robbery. In short... they don't know how to make pizzas, and the portions are ridiculously small... and on top of that, it's expensive. We paid 106 euros for a terrible meal... we left feeling ripped off. It's clear they cater to tourists like us who will never return to Lourdes, which is why they charge what they do for such awful food, and then they just forget about us. I'm giving it one star because I can't give it zero.

26/10/2025: I've been to Lourdes several times, but this is the first time I've been satisfied with the owners' hospitality, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, and especially the food served for lunch and dinner. You eat like you're in Campania here. Highly recommended.

15/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience at this establishment. We went in for coffee, but after looking at the menu, we decided to have lunch. The staff is very welcoming, the food is delicious and plentiful, and the restaurant is very well located, slightly removed from the crowds near the sanctuary, allowing for a more peaceful experience.

05/04/2026: The picture of this glass is on the menu (freshly squeezed orange juice), and yet they serve you a Granini in an Ikea glass. I find that unacceptable.
