23/08/2026: Update 2026: Overall, a good restaurant. However, I was quite surprised that the bottles, both wine and water, weren't opened at the table in front of the customers. It's a detail that might seem insignificant, but unfortunately, it leaves room for doubt about their contents. A shame, as it undermines trust and detracts from an otherwise pleasant experience. 2015: An excellent restaurant, but a bit pricey. It's a pity that, for a bill of over €300 for four people, a spilled coffee wasn't kindly replaced. This incident, after five visits to this establishment, doesn't encourage me to return.

22/08/2026: An extraordinary restaurant in this charming, typical wine-growing village. Nestled in the heart of the shaded village square, you'll soak up the atmosphere of southern Hérault. The menu features top-quality meats from around the world, generous salads, and changes with the seasons. The wine list, showcasing AOC wines from Montpeyroux and the surrounding area, is incredible. The sommelier-owner's recommendations demonstrate his passion for wine and his expertise. The staff is professional and attentive, with a kitchen team that masters both the art of cooking meats and the art of plating. In short, a place to treat yourself, just a stone's throw from the Pont du Diable (Devil's Bridge). A restaurant you absolutely must discover.

08/06/2026: Efficient and tasty, the set menus are sufficient for a basic appetite, generous portions, and good quality! The gentleman at the counter is lovely, I recommend it!

29/08/2026: We were very disappointed, especially since we had a good experience with the new owner during the off-season (with Marie (Maria) it was great). The wait was interminable (50 minutes before the first crêpe) even though we had a reservation. The "mirror" crêpe was overcooked and had an off-white yolk, which we pointed out, but no offer to improve it. The chocolate crêpe had very little chocolate (just for decoration) and was barely cooked. When it came time to pay, the waitress, to whom I remarked if we would return after such a bad evening (despite having had a rather good impression), replied, "Well... don't come back." Mr. Jules, you weren't there on a Saturday evening at the end of August, but I think you need to rectify this.

14/09/2026: Homemade Italian-style gelato made fresh daily with love, friendly and quick service. The ice cream is excellent, and they also offer milkshakes and iced coffee. A small but very popular spot with locals, and the prices are very reasonable. You can also eat in.

12/09/2026: A disgrace! We waited 10 minutes. One of the girls was putting away the different ice creams at 11:15 PM. When it was finally my turn, the flavor I wanted was already put away, and the person told me "they don't have that flavor anymore," even though I'd seen it just before. She refused to serve me what I asked for. I insisted, but it was no use. She told me "they were closing." It was 11:15 PM, and it's clearly stated online that this place closes at midnight. Yet another place that closes before closing time and isn't ashamed to let customers leave without serving them what they ordered. Avoid at all costs!

It's rare to leave a restaurant with the feeling that everything was perfect, and that's exactly the case here. Bravo to the entire Umami team for this magnificent experience. An address I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will return with great pleasure. A real favorite!
