18/02/2026: We arrived quite late for lunch in February, and despite the late hour, approaching closing time, and the already crowded dining room, we were greeted with smiles and attentiveness as if we were the only customers of the day!
We shared a starter and were surprised to see two separate portions arrive in small casseroles, presented as if we had ordered two starters!
The main courses were generous and delicious, and the numerous staff were available and attentive. A great find!

21/05/2026: We had lunch there twice in one week, on the way to and from our trip, four of us on bikes. We ate once inside and once on the terrace (which was nicer). The waitresses and waiters were friendly. Good value for money. Pleasant welcome 👍

09/06/2026: I had lunch today at Chez Paul restaurant in Pézenas with my colleagues, and we had a wonderful time. The setting is very pleasant, and the round table was particularly convivial, perfect for sharing a meal with colleagues.
The dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and served promptly. Another positive point was the staff, who were smiling, welcoming, and efficient throughout the service.
A truly great place to eat well in a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

14/05/2026: We go there regularly with colleagues and it's always a great time. The food is home-style, varied, with slow-cooked dishes and classic favorites that are always impeccable. The atmosphere is calm and the owner is always pleasant.
28/03/2026: Spectacular! The fondue was incredible, as were the salads, and the maître d' was especially attentive, even though we don't speak French. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: A very unpleasant museum, a sinister atmosphere, everything is dark, the bookstore is closed for no reason, and the restrooms are at the end of a completely black corridor, leading into a totally black room. It's impossible to clean this place.
Most of the paintings on display are uninteresting; three-quarters of them should be put back in storage. Only the Bazille room is worthwhile. A very sad state of affairs for culture...

11/06/2026: My husband went to this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed his meal, but his enjoyment was ruined by an 8 cm splinter sticking out of one of the wooden camping tables provided by the restaurant. My husband had to take time off work and received stitches in his knee.
The restaurant owner was informed but didn't even call to check on him! Appalling! So be careful where you sit and be mindful of your children!
