The service is fantastic, the dishes are exquisite and very generous.
Everything is homemade, right down to the ice cream, with original flavors that perfectly complement the food, and the owner is amazing.
Honestly, you can go there without hesitation.

Luckily, we'll be back because, due to lack of time, we didn't get a chance to try the oriental pastries and mint tea.

20/08/2026: Loved it. Great food, loved their speciality traditional menu. We were a group of five and got to taste many of the menu items, from escargot to crispy goat cheese salad. Main courses included a perfect steak, sausage, aubergine parmigana. Great desserts, chocolate with soft fondant inside and parlined nuts and apricot clafoutis. Good and reasonably priced regional wines and a good cocktail to start.
Nice location in the old town, on a smaller quiet side street.
17/08/2026: A belated review following a dinner almost a year ago. Very fond memories of this establishment, both of the refined cuisine and the attentive service (we arrived without a reservation, and they arranged a table for us for 2 hours).

01/09/2026: We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Auberge de Combes, which had been reserved exclusively for us. I congratulate Julien Bousquet on his inventive mix of exceptional tapas and the rest of the meal. We had an unforgettable day.

31/05/2026: It was a small cafe, and it was incredibly hot inside, so we packed some to go and ate at the hotel. We ordered sandwiches with sliced meat (very tasty!), a burger (good), and a plate with four patties (the meat was a bit dry, I wouldn't recommend it). Dinner for three cost €40.

The service was impeccable, the chef was present in the dining room, and all the little touches, like the complimentary truffle, were wonderful. The food was excellent, the atmosphere and the chef's energy were fantastic; we wish there were more restaurants like this!

However, I find the prices rather high for the quality offered. It's good, but not exceptional. A decent experience, but not necessarily a must-try.
