01/02/2026: I tried to place an Uber Eats order via phone, but it didn't go through. It seemed the order had arrived at my home, but I received nothing, and I was still charged. I don't know where the problem lies, but I'm really unhappy with the internet/Uber service.

02/12/2025: Truly enjoyed our dinner at Au Bon Pêcheur tonight. Local Alsactian vibe with excellent food and drink. Welcoming and warm. Tonight I had the Pork Cheeks cooked in Pinot Noir. My wife had the Cordon Blue of Pork and both were exceptional. Treat yourself to a Baba du Rhum!!

07/06/2025: Very good Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is good. Today we had the daily special (chirashi), pork tonkatsu, and gyudon. The dishes are very good, well-cooked, and the prices are reasonable. I'll be back.

06/04/2026: I stayed at the Kyriad Direct in Montpellier, Saint Jean de Védas. I found it a bit too far from Montpellier; it takes a good 20 to 30 minutes to get there, depending on rush hour. There's a lot of traffic at the roundabout. The road is quite poor and full of potholes. The hotel is located next to a Première Classe. The reception area serves both hotels, Kyriad and Première Classe. The parking is fairly decent. The welcome was friendly but surprising. Once there, we were told we needed a €100 deposit. I think it's a bit much not to warn people in advance and take them by surprise. Once in the room, it was okay; there was some coffee and a kettle. It was clean and smelled nice. The bedding was adequate. However, the air conditioning wasn't working properly. I had to call the hotel twice to get my deposit back. And I don't like chasing people around. They're supposed to release it on the day of departure. I had to call the next day, and again two days later I had to call again, and this time my deposit was released. Overall, it's a hotel for emergencies, but it won't be the most pleasant stay.

23/03/2026: The only positive point was the reception staff, who were very friendly. Otherwise, avoid at all costs!!! Not even for one night to break up a long journey. The room was outdated, with noises from furniture and the constant coming and going of other guests, who were shouting... No respect whatsoever. I wasn't reassured by that flimsy lock. The mattress was uncomfortable; I could feel the springs and the pillows were made of wood! There was a strong smell of bleach in the rooms, and they weren't even clean! There was toilet paper stuck to the floor of the toilet... I was cold despite the heating. In short, never again. I didn't sleep a wink. Very depressing.

15/02/2026: I don't understand why this public space isn't open to the public on Sundays. One website said it was "open all year round"... but when I arrived, I was surprised to find it closed! I understand it's closed on Saturdays for weddings—I got married there myself—but it was ideal for family walks on Sundays. I'm disappointed; it would be great if that changed.

07/12/2025: A romantic getaway, nothing beats the seaside in November. Relax and recharge. The welcome is warm, the owner and staff are very friendly and attentive. Clean and pleasant, breakfast is served in a dining room, but you can also have it on the terrace. Breakfast is quite good. We very enjoyed our stay; we chose the sea-view room. It has a balcony where you can set up a table and chairs, with a view of the sea and the port. It's comfortable, with good bedding and quiet. You can hear the waves crashing in the evening when you open the window. The hotel is close to everything: shops, restaurants, the beach, and the ferry to cross the canal in the summer. I think I'll stop there. Come and discover this little gem at a reasonable price. Do it the old-fashioned way: call the hotel to check availability and rates. Enjoy your stay!

25/02/2026: This restaurant has really changed since we started going there, and not for the better in terms of food: it's simply not cooked properly and it's not good! The owner is still as friendly as ever, but for the past year the quality has simply not been there! Alas...
