04/07/2026: My father and I came to Saint Malo to stay at Hotel de la Porte Saint Pierre. Tiffany, at the main desk welcomed us very nicely. Her husband David runs breakfast and a bar/restaurant across the street and their son helps. They too were very welcoming. At first, we were given a room on the 4th floor (for Americans this is the 5th floor). We absolutely loved the room and the view, but unfortunately my father's leg gave him trouble going up/down the stairs. Tiffany was able to change our room to the 2nd floor which my dad could handle better. We felt she really helped accommodate his needs. We were extremely happy with our stay while we were there for 4 nights. The hotel offers breakfast acros the street. There is a very nice selection of sweet treats, cheese, a soft boiled egg station, coffee, and juices. Think "light breakfast". The hotel is literal steps away from the city's ramparts where one can walk and take in the ocean views. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and their staff who, im my opinion, work very hard as a family to make sure people enjoy their stay. I wish I could give them more stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

27/06/2026: I just stayed here for several days and truly enjoyed this hotel. The family & staff are kind and welcoming, my room seemed newly renovated was very comfortable. The cafe/bar across the street is a great place to cool off with a plate of fresh oysters. The magnificent beach is only steps away and changes every hour due to the dramatic tide. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

24/07/2026: This morning at 6:00 AM, I bought an almond croissant and it was completely dry. I didn't enjoy it, not to mention the exorbitant price for such poor quality. I won't be back. The cashier could have been a bit friendlier too.

22/06/2026: Pleasant welcome and service. Simple but tasty cuisine. Generous portions, very reasonable prices. The only downside is that the area around the restaurant, especially the entrance, could be improved.

Even before the big day, I was already talking about them to everyone I knew because they were so incredible from the first contact to the final goodbye. 21/08/2026: A fantastic experience at Cap Malo Golf Club! The course is quite unique, especially with the absence of par 5s, but that's precisely what makes it so special. It's enjoyable to play and makes for a great time. Special mention goes to the extremely friendly and accommodating welcome. The team is available, friendly, and truly goes the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. An unpretentious golf course with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, where it's a pleasure to play. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful because of the thoughtful touches at every moment (like a blanket when the weather turned chilly), the kindness of the entire team, and the evident care taken in selecting high-quality, locally sourced products. Not to mention some excellent wines on the wine list. In short, a perfect lunch on the terrace. We'll definitely be back!
