12/06/2026: Looking for a place to work in Lyon, I came to this establishment for an afternoon of remote work and was greeted with a smile. The setting is super cute, the music is good, and the owner and staff are really pleasant. A special mention for the Viennese coffee—simple but incredibly effective. I recommend it!

13/07/2026: It's a shame I can't give zero stars. I used to frequent this restaurant, which I considered one of the best in the area, but since the change of ownership, nothing is the same. The prices are exorbitant for frozen products in small portions (5 euros for 3 small spring rolls without salad or sauce). On top of that, their dishes have practically no flavor, no taste of freshness, which shows that their products aren't as high-quality or as carefully prepared, since most of them aren't homemade. In any case, I'm extremely disappointed and never thought I'd give this kind of rating.

08/09/2026: A Lyon institution that lived up to its reputation. The wild blackberry sorbet took me back to my childhood when we used to pick blackberries in the Haute-Loire region!

07/09/2026: The ice cream is very good, but it's a shame the menu is unclear, with the use of Anglicisms, as is unfortunately the case in more and more establishments. I also find it very unfortunate that a paper menu is not offered automatically; the use of QR codes to view the menu is another strongly unpleasant French trend.

01/04/2026: I went there while the hotel was being renovated, and honestly, it would be a real shame to miss out if you're in the area. I had the set menu (main course, dessert, coffee), less than 20 euros for a generous portion served without rice or pasta. I eat at many hotel restaurants like this one, and I found it to be a cut above the rest, much better quality. The dessert was fresh and also very generous (pineapple carpaccio). The atmosphere was a bit cold in a sparsely decorated dining room, but the hotel is undergoing renovations, so please bear with me. The service was excellent, friendly, and efficient. The menu is very short, as the restaurant focuses on daily specials. I can only hope it's just as good every time. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to spot.

31/01/2026: A restaurant we love to visit for lunch, not only for a break from work but especially for the warm welcome, the relaxing atmosphere, their daily specials—always delicious, (very) generous portions, made with seasonal, market-fresh ingredients—all at an excellent price (daily special, dessert, and coffee for €15.90). Located within the hotel, the restaurant is lovely, bathed in natural light from the veranda. A special mention goes to the team: Manon (with her smile and sense of humor), Anaïs (friendly and discreet), and the Head Chef, whose mastery of cooking both meat and fish we serve deserves a special mention, as does the generous portion size. This place has become our go-to spot, and we're not exactly picky eaters (Manon can attest to that) ;))

04/04/2026: I came to buy a few things for Easter and accidentally dropped something. Of course, I was going to pay for it without arguing. However, the owner's very unpleasant attitude really surprised me. A little more consideration would have been appreciated. A shame for a neighborhood shop.

03/08/2026: I recently ordered a food waste basket (ToGoToGo), however the bakery was closed and I paid anyway, so I didn't receive the basket and lost money. There wasn't even any notification, and the baskets were still listed as available on the app. This is a serious lack of professionalism and transparency towards the customer. Unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend them!

14/09/2026: We also had a reservation through TheFork and had no problems. It's located in a much quieter area, but right in the city center, so the location is excellent. We arrived around noon, shortly after opening, and were lucky enough to find the restaurant practically empty. However, it filled up completely by lunchtime, which we completely understand after tasting the food. The service was excellent. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and looked after us at all times. He even made sure we had water. The food was good: very traditional French dishes, high quality, and with generous portions. We ordered four courses, an appetizer, and two desserts to share, and we really enjoyed everything. It's worth noting that without TheFork discount, it would be a bit pricey, but the prices are within the normal range for Europe. We were very satisfied with both the food and the overall experience. Definitely a place we recommend and would return to.

12/09/2026: The waiter's friendliness can't excuse everything. It's greasy and tasteless. It's a far cry from Lyon's culinary traditions. Very disappointed.

13/08/2026: Honestly, I don't know how this restaurant can have such high ratings. The menu is a mess, and I felt like everything on my plate was unhygienic (I'm afraid I might have food poisoning). I don't eat out often, but this is undeniably one of the worst I've ever been to. That said, the owner is friendly, but his food is far less so.

15/06/2026: A traditional Lyonnais bistro, the likes of which are rarely seen anymore. Flavorful vegetables, heartfelt cooking, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

15/08/2026: I used to love Pizza des Puces, but I'm very disappointed; it was my last order in Tassin. The pizzas aren't as good as they used to be, despite the considerable price increase! €14 for a simple, not-so-great Margherita pizza is outrageous! The telephone service needs a complete overhaul! I understand the rush, but that doesn't justify being so unwelcoming and unprofessional.

18/09/2026: The owner threatened to call animal control because our dog was thirsty. She was probably drunk, and her behavior was quite suspicious. Be vigilant.
