03/09/2026: An essential stop every time I return to Lyon!

01/09/2026: The service is deeply disappointing. The employee at the counter was incredibly rude and called me a racist when I asked him to repeat the menu. He threw the cutlery and drinks onto the table right in front of me, almost hitting me. The entire establishment was shocked upon witnessing this scene. We got up and left. Never coming here again!

19/08/2026: Excellent products. Reasonable value for money. Everything is top quality, whether it's the shellfish or the pâté en croûte right across the street – it's magnificent.

16/08/2026: I received friendly advice from the waitress who recommended the fish sole munier; the weight of 700g was reduced to 500g by hand. It was tasty, but certainly no more than 300g. The price of €65 (including a small bottle of water) is definitely too expensive; perhaps it should be adjusted? We were there on Saturday at lunchtime and found the whole hall quite empty.

20/08/2026: Kudos to the all-round maître d', fast service, small but tasty mussels, delicious salmon. Unfortunately, the linguine was a bit overcooked, but the flavor was good. As an Italian pasta eater, I recommend ordering the pasta undercooked. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely eat there again.

17/08/2026: For a Saturday in August 15th, the staff was there, the products were high quality, as usual. The waiter was incredibly attentive. I'll definitely be back.

17/06/2026: A lovely shop with all sorts of designer gifts. A very cozy café, and Sophie, the owner, is very friendly and attentive. Excellent coffee.

18/05/2026: A wonderful discovery in Francheville! Tendance K is a charming boutique with a lovely selection of home decor, gifts, and unique items. It feels like a real haven, designed as a living space, somewhere between a shop, a tea room, and a place for socializing. It's a pleasant, inspiring spot, perfect for finding great ideas. 05/09/2026: I ordered Apple Pie, and I'm disappointed. The packaging was poor. The products arrived damaged. Frankly, it's unbearable to order something and receive such terrible quality. Even the packaging showed signs of wear on the outside. Seriously, it's awful.

02/09/2026: One of the best kebabs in Lyon!

04/06/2026: A very bad experience. The meat was truly awful, with an unpleasant taste that prevented me from finishing my meal. As for the staff, they were not at all welcoming and gave the impression that the customers were bothering them. Between the poor quality of the food and the lack of friendliness from the service, I do not recommend this establishment. If I could give it zero stars, I wouldn't hesitate for a second.

03/09/2026: Visiting Lyon for a few days, I loved this bar. The staff is fantastic; they go out of their way to find us seats on the terrace, and they're accommodating and efficient. The location is great, with a magnificent view of Lyon, and the bar is beautifully decorated.

30/04/2026: Unacceptable experience. Cold and disrespectful welcome, but above all, alarming hygiene conditions. I saw an employee scratching his hair, handling money, and then touching food without any care. This is unacceptable in an establishment that serves food. I left immediately. Avoid this place until basic hygiene rules are respected.

19/05/2026: Lyon's oldest café, very pretty, lovely terrace, inexpensive, charming young owner. Superbly located just steps from the Saône River on the beautiful Rue Sainte-Hélène.

25/08/2026: Shopping at Carrefour is becoming increasingly difficult. You have to check everything! The prices linked to packaging are inconsistent (see photos). If you want to take advantage of promotions, you have to spend ages activating coupons one by one, each with an expiry date. There are also "shock" prices that you can no longer find on the shelves (for example, today on instant coffee or Petit Câlin yogurts). Some promotions are valid in-store but not for drive-through pickup, or vice versa. In short, I think you have to be retired to take the time to do any worthwhile shopping at Carrefour. I'm going to try other stores. August 22, 2026, more than a year after my last review: I switched to Leclerc Drive and I really don't regret my choice. I had fun doing a mini comparison (see my photos). Each time, there were differences of several cents. (See photos) On a shopping cart, that adds up to several euros.

21/04/2026: Friendly welcome, simple homemade cuisine with fresh products, no frills, it's simply good!

23/06/2026: A great place to eat delicious sushi at a very reasonable price. The service is quick, and you can order the lunch specials in the evening for an additional €2. You can also order by phone and pick up your order in person, usually within 20 to 30 minutes.

05/03/2026: No possibility of customizing the menus, what a shame. The customer service clearly needs improvement.

03/08/2026: There are much better places. The portions are anything but generous. At the end of the street there's Chamas Tacos, it's better.

26/07/2026: A really good, old-fashioned snack bar, the kind you find less and less these days. The menu changes regularly, so you can discover new recipes while still enjoying the classics that have made the place famous. The food is good, the portions are generous, and the service is always friendly. It's always a pleasure to come back. I highly recommend it!
