23/06/2026: The ambiance here is a solid 5/5, it’s a gorgeous spot and a wonderful place to just sit and relax inside the Museum of Arts of Lyon. That being said, the service is on yourself. My overall 4-star rating is strictly for the beautiful environment. Great place for the views, just keep your expectations very low for the quality of a coffee and the dégustation.

13/09/2025: Unfortunately, Contre-Champ is not what it used to be. The chef has changed, and the experience is nothing like what you’ll see on Google or in older reviews. The food was disappointing, far below expectations, and the overall quality has dropped dramatically. To make matters worse, the poor waiter had to manage 11 tables completely on his own — service was understandably slow and chaotic, and it was painful to watch him struggle. What used to be a great place has become a real letdown. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal.

The cashier always has a big smile, which is always a pleasure first thing in the morning. 12/09/2026: On a positive note: the staff are well-intentioned and helpful. However, this store is neglected. It's understaffed, often overcrowded, and the shelves have been regularly empty for months, even years. And I won't even mention the equipment problems. I try to promote community life, but this is no longer possible. Please do something.

23/08/2026: Visually, the pizza was very pretty, but unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients was very poor. I was extremely disappointed; the pizza wasn't great. I ate outside on a small, dirty section of the terrace, with uncleaned tables… it could have been charming, but there was no effort made on the exterior maintenance or the quality of the food. :-(

08/09/2026: Thanks to BS Catering, our wedding was a resounding success, and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves, from the cocktail hour to the meal! From our very first contact with Sarah and Oualid, everything flowed smoothly. They were attentive and, above all, very flexible with our requests. Everything they suggested was perfectly suited to our vision for our wedding. We felt like we had a tailor-made wedding, 100% personalized, and I think that's the most important thing for such a special day. Also, the value for money was, in my opinion, excellent. Having attended other weddings, for the same price, the quantity and quality simply weren't on the same level. Furthermore, as the bride and groom, we were able to eat everything we wanted because the service was impeccable, both for us and for all our guests. For example, my grandmother, who had to remain seated, was pampered by the waiters and waitresses. Finally, we received excellent feedback from our guests regarding the quality of the food served at the wedding and the quality of the service, which further reinforces our belief that we will not hesitate to recommend BS Traiteur to our friends and family.

25/08/2026: Avoid at all costs. The service is appalling, downright malicious. The food was bad despite being quite expensive (how can they mess up rice?!). There was gluten in the food and I had an allergic reaction even though I specifically asked when ordering if it was okay.

11/09/2026: New owner (we went in August 2026), very warm welcome, always a friendly atmosphere, excellent cuisine—refined, generous portions, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it. And of course, in a superb setting in the heart of the skyscrapers.

01/06/2026: ⭐ Overall rating: 7.5/10 A great find! This African restaurant in Lyon was a wonderful discovery. I had a lovely time and, most importantly, a delicious meal. The portions were generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Special mention goes to the chicken: perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and, most importantly, not dry, which is often a weak point in this type of dish. The side dishes were also excellent, with well-balanced flavors. A minor drawback was the sweet potato fries, which were unavailable during my visit. Apparently, they had been out of stock for several days. This is a bit of a shame, as they are often a popular side dish, and sweet potatoes are generally quite easy to find. As for the ambiance, the terrace is perfect for enjoying the nice weather, which is very pleasant. However, it has limited seating and opens directly onto the street. Inside, the space is adequate, but it was quite warm during my visit, with noticeable cooking smells. Air conditioning or better ventilation would significantly improve customer comfort. The service also deserves a mention. The woman single-handedly manages the kitchen, reception, service, and payments. Despite this heavy workload, she remains cheerful and does her best to satisfy customers. This can sometimes lead to a slight wait, but it's understandable. My ratings: * Reception: 8/10 * Food: 8/10 * Value for money: 8/10 * Cleanliness: 7/10 * Atmosphere and comfort: 7/10 In short, this is a place worth discovering for the quality of its cuisine and its authentic flavors. 30/05/2026: We just left this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfectly cooked, and the service was quick. For dessert, we had degué… It was also very good! Honestly, a great place, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Lyon. Thank you for everything! ☺️🙏

16/05/2026: The service is friendly, and the seafood is excellent. However, I was disappointed with the salmon linguine; it was so oily and lacked flavor (apart from the salmon itself, which was very good).

03/09/2026: The food isn't good, nor are the cocktails, however, it's convenient for lunch. Today I ordered takeout through SKEAT as I always do, but the order wasn't processed. When it arrived, the cashier refused to speak English, made me wait, and it turned out the order hadn't been processed. I asked someone else and they told me it was fine and I should wait. When the wait became excessive, I insisted for an answer, and it turned out the cashier did speak English very well, but hadn't wanted to. The restaurant is located in a hotel and caters to an international clientele. Very poor service.

30/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A varied and delicious brunch, a warm welcome despite our late arrival, and very dedicated and friendly staff. We'll gladly return.
