02/07/2026: I wanted to try the birthday party package for my daughter's 10th birthday. The children had a blast from beginning to end and are already asking to come back next year. Thank you to the entertainer, Basma, for her dedication and professionalism!

30/06/2026: The establishment was clean and well-maintained. The ordering process was very professional. I was greeted by Basma, who was particularly kind, smiling, and patient throughout my order. The service was quick and pleasant. A very good experience; I will definitely return!

27/06/2026: Keep walking! Fresh salmon tagliatelle... a teaspoon of salmon placed in the center of the plate and that's it. A nauseating fishy sauce that doesn't smell of fresh salmon at all. I complained politely... the response: these are tagliatelle with salmon sauce. Oh really! That's not what's on the menu. I pointed this out and informed "Nona Lisa" of my upcoming comments. Nona's aggressive response: "I've been working for forty years, you're not going to ruin my life." Change jobs (it's too late) or quit altogether!!! It's not free!!!

I really like the lady who cleans the tables, she's very kind 👍 and it can't be easy for her, I noticed some snickering while I was there 😡 it's not cool, especially in 2026, but she's helpful and does her job well, so that's why I come often ☝️😊🌹

11/07/2026: I was very disappointed by this establishment, which prominently displays the word "Ice Cream Parlor." A tub of whipped cream had been left out of the fridge, which really didn't inspire confidence. We mentioned it to the staff, who completely ignored our comment; on the contrary, they told us it was normal, no problem 😅, which is a serious hygiene issue. Besides, the whipped cream was lukewarm and didn't hold its shape. I'm lucky I didn't get sick. Furthermore, there was a mistake with our order: the passion fruit scoop was replaced with blackcurrant. It might seem like a small detail, but added up to everything else, it's a lot. I don't recommend it and I won't be going back.

20/04/2026: We came for dinner and I wasn't disappointed. The calm and peaceful atmosphere made for a pleasant evening, and the welcome and service were excellent. The food was good, and spices like salt and pepper were provided on the table if we wanted more hygiene (a plus in my opinion). In short, a lovely evening at your establishment, which is also very clean.

21/07/2026: No drinks are available on site, but menu prices remain unchanged. They provide water instead, and once you go to the toilet to wash your hands, you have to hold your breath – hygiene is nonexistent – ​​and the staff are too slow.

17/03/2026: We spent one night at the Hôtel L’Ermitage, and frankly, the current 3.9/5 rating on Google doesn't reflect our experience. We had booked the Belvédère room, which offers an absolutely incredible view of the Monts d’Or and Lyon. The setting is calm, peaceful, and truly magnificent—a real haven of tranquility. Upon arrival, we had a drink on the restaurant terrace, bathed in sunshine: a very pleasant way to start our stay. We then had the relaxation area to ourselves, allowing us to truly unwind, exactly what we were looking for. In the evening, we dined at the hotel restaurant: excellent cuisine, discreet and pleasant service. We had a wonderful evening. The next morning, breakfast was a very pleasant surprise: a well-organized buffet with a high-quality savory selection (which is quite rare and worth mentioning), featuring organic and seasonal products. The desserts were also excellent: pastries, delicious bread, praline brioche, organic products, and a superb homemade pear compote. We were able to enjoy the relaxation area one last time before our departure. The early check-out before noon is a real plus, allowing you to fully enjoy the morning. Of course, having a professional eye for the restaurant industry ourselves, we noticed a few imperfections, particularly regarding the cleanliness of the relaxation area (chewing gum and hair were found on the edge of the jacuzzi upon our arrival, and these hadn't been cleaned up by our departure). The facilities also show some signs of age. However, this didn't spoil our stay in any way. The staff was lovely from beginning to end, and the overall experience remains very positive. We loved our stay, so kudos to the team, and we will most likely be back next month.

14/03/2026: Quite disappointed by this otherwise well-known hotel. The reception wasn't very welcoming; the person was on the phone for at least five minutes without telling us they'd be there in a few minutes. The room was nice enough, but the floor wasn't clean, there was only one large towel for two people, and no phone to contact reception. The pool is tiny, with just two sun loungers practically next to each other, water everywhere, and no one to even mop it up. The spa was very nice! Breakfast was very good with a magnificent view, but forget about a friendly welcome and a smile from the staff—they must not be paid for that! Would I recommend it? No! There are so many better options elsewhere for the same price.

23/05/2026: Honestly, if you're looking for a place to have a terrible night out, Le 42 in Lyon is the place to go. The atmosphere is so lifeless you can practically hear the ice melting in your drinks. The decor, all dark, old wood, is incredibly outdated; it looks like a bar stuck in 2002. Between the lifeless music and the atmosphere of a condo owners' meeting on a Monday morning, it's hard to imagine anything less welcoming.

05/04/2026: It's probably a good bar, but the clientele leaves completely drunk and keeps us awake for 3 to 4 hours. There's no regulation or management of these people who shout, smoke, and fight, like again last night...

17/06/2026: Shame on this establishment. During a World Cup match, my friends and I stopped at this bar. Racist remarks were made, and the staff did absolutely nothing. Deeply shocked by this situation, my friends and I left the bar, outraged by what we had just heard. We then expressed our dissatisfaction to the manager, who seemed to be present. His response was that he couldn't do anything about this kind of behavior. Excuse me?! Isn't it precisely the role of a manager to ensure that all customers are treated with respect, to maintain a healthy environment, and to intervene in case of inappropriate behavior? His lack of reaction, as well as his accusatory tone, unfortunately gives the impression that he tolerates, or even defends, this type of attitude. Shame on this establishment, which, through its inaction, contributes to normalizing and fueling such behavior.

16/06/2026: Good evening, We thought we had found a welcoming bar, but what a surprise it was to discover an openly racist clientele and a manager who was completely passive in the face of our comments about the situation! After several racist insults, we decided to leave this bar, which was clearly full of reactionaries. We then decided to speak to the manager, who claimed he was powerless, even though he had the option of not tolerating the presence of this clientele. We will obviously not be coming back and we will not recommend this bar to anyone. Hoping that free spirits still exist.

19/05/2026: The restaurant is very clean and the food is excellent. I don't understand why people say it's industrial... It's a traditional restaurant and has everything you need, from aperitifs to wine and coffee, and the simple yet delicious cuisine is a real treat. I highly recommend it.

04/05/2026: The owner is certainly well-fed, but not the customers. Avoid this place! The cheapest warm goat cheese salad was soaked in inedible industrial salad dressing, and the steak frites were frozen with expired mustard, all for €16.
