Léon de B. - Lyon
Lyon-2E, Lyon
27/05/2026: The staff are pleasant and welcoming, which makes for a rather enjoyable experience.
However, the service is extremely slow (around an hour's wait for mussels and fries), which can be really frustrating, especially when the restaurant is full. The prices are also a bit high compared to the quality and quantity offered, resulting in an average value for money.
22/05/2026: I'd like to leave a review of the food, but…
While Google Maps indicates the restaurant closes at 3:00 PM, we arrived at 1:55 PM and were told it was already closed and refused entry. Nice…

Les Aromes
Lyon-3E, Lyon
11/08/2026: It is always a real pleasure to enjoy a good coffee and chat with a wonderful and pleasant duo of saleswomen.
02/08/2026: The blonde waitress on August 1st was very annoyed. She was asked, "I'd like some coffee." She replied irritably and with a delay. And when she was asked to grind it again because she'd forgotten, she rolled her eyes.
Advice to this young woman: "Customers come to you; it's an easy job. Find a job where you're the one seeking out customers, and you'll see the difference. I promise you'll change your behavior."

Brasserie Les Tuilleries
Tassin-La-Demi-Lune
14/03/2026: Fantastic find! The atmosphere is truly wonderful, warm and friendly. The staff is incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and offers great advice on drinks. The cocktails are excellent, perfectly balanced, and original. Special mention also goes to the music and ambiance, which really make you want to stay all evening.
A perfect place to spend a great time with friends. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back!
12/03/2026: The bar is great, the music is top-notch.

Domino's Pizza
Lyon-7E, Lyon
09/09/2026: Very good pizzas and friendly staff
05/09/2026: ⛔Remember Domino's oversized, overflowing pizzas? Well, those days are over. The pizzas are ridiculously expensive for the quality.
✅The only positive point: if there's a mistake with your order or delivery, the staff will be understanding and find a solution.

24/06/2026: Frozen meals,
Pizza not as pictured,
Owner disrespectful to his waitress, speaks rudely to everyone, avoid at all costs!
24/06/2026: Aside from the service (thank you, Marie), everything else was deplorable: an unpleasant owner to both staff and customers, tasteless frozen meals, and low-quality desserts.
I do not recommend it.

McDonald's
Lyon-7E, Lyon
25/09/2026: The ice machine has been out of order for months, which is a real problem during the summer.
19/09/2026: Between the stale Big Mac bun, the rock-hard nuggets, and the frankly disgusting burger salad, I've never seen anything like it at McDonald's.
And the quality of McDonald's in France already seems far behind that of its neighbors.

Le Moderne

25/09/2026: Not even a greeting, nothing from the employees who practically insult the customers. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
09/09/2026: Wow! Really, really good! Had lunch. Salmon, eggplant and mushroom cooked perfectly, delicious. My compliments to Le Chef! Server spoke English and was very friendly. Will return with my family.

Crazy Golf
Villefranche-Sur-Saone
02/07/2026: An unusual and welcoming place for families, friends, and colleagues. You're always warmly received by the owner and always enjoy a quality, timeless experience.
02/07/2026: This is the fifth year we've had our end-of-year outing at Crazy Golf with my colleagues. There were 25 of us tonight: mini-golf, then dinner, and then a really fun game organized by the owner! In short, we had a fantastic evening that everyone enjoyed. The only thing missing was the sea, and we would have felt like we were on vacation! Thank you, we'll be back.

Cafe du Marche
Lyon-2E, Lyon
06/09/2026: Fair price, very friendly staff, and excellent location.
11/07/2026: I came on the morning of July 4th with a friend who didn't speak French, but the waitress was quite unpleasant and, in her words, "in a hurry." I left immediately. It's a shame they weren't more welcoming and patient with a foreigner who was kind and wanted to make an effort to take our order. It's a pity because the setting is nice, but the service definitely needs improvement.

Bistrot Des Celestins
Lyon-2E, Lyon
16/09/2026: Stopped for coffee and a pain au chocolate. Lovely lady serving, very n9ce and friendly. €8.50 for a pleasant breakfast.
06/09/2026: A lovely time spent on the terrace overlooking the Saône. The pastries and biscuits were delicious!
The cappuccino was a little watery... but the service and atmosphere made up for it 😁
