21/08/2026: A wonderful discovery with dishes I had never eaten before. It was really great!

20/08/2026: We arrived an hour ago and the wait is starting to get to me. I hope the food will live up to the wait!

12/08/2026: It took a very long time to serve me, and then the chef got annoyed when we asked when our order would be ready, and he deliberately gave us the wrong change.

10/09/2026: I came on a friend's recommendation, and I wasn't disappointed! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal from start to finish. I opted for the set menu (starter/main/dessert), which was perfect in terms of both the quality and the portion sizes. They also gave excellent wine recommendations. This is a place you absolutely must visit if you want to have a wonderful time!

15/09/2026: Hello, I wanted to thank the staff for their very friendly, welcoming, and professional service. The restaurant was very clean and reasonably priced. I will gladly return to eat there, though I am still a little apprehensive.

13/09/2026: Awful experience. I went there this Saturday, September 13th, hoping to get something to eat. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by stifling heat and a musty smell. There were four of us, and we each ordered two €4.95 meals with two burgers. We had a choice between beef and chicken, and being avid athletes, we mostly opted for chicken. But when our order arrived after a 30-minute wait... THE CHICKEN WAS UNDERCOOKED AND COLD! We then went to the registers to exchange our burgers because, as you know, undercooked chicken can contain salmonella, a deadly bacteria. Imagine our surprise when the bald, bespectacled, and slightly bloated man told us, in the most disrespectful way possible, that it was simply chicken and that they wouldn't be exchanged. I am very disappointed with this experience and in order to avoid any further bad news I am going to call the health department to check this restaurant.

13/08/2026: A huge thank you for this delightful experience. The setting is truly lovely, especially enjoying the wooden terrace in this beautiful sunshine. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the wine selection, with a wonderful variety of bottles, including the Santa Sofia. Everything was perfect, from the generous portions to the calm and welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit for those who appreciate good times.

26/08/2026: Very good and made with fresh ingredients. The portions aren't huge if you have a big appetite, but the quality is excellent.

29/07/2026: Not wanting to go straight home on a weeknight, we passed La Bouteille on the way home and thought, "Why not!"... And we certainly weren't disappointed. We had a delicious meal and the staff was lovely! The chef even agreed to explain how to cook fennel, which I think is very generous of him to share his tips! They truly deserve to work hard and stay in business for a long time! I highly recommend it.

12/08/2026: So happy to live near this neighborhood bar that I go to regularly. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the menu is great (draught cider, club-mate…😍). Nicely decorated place, plenty of tables on the terrace. And they often have events too. Thanks for being there ❤️

15/07/2026: The best all-you-can-eat buffet in Villeurbanne! Fresh ingredients and homemade recipes, everything is delicious. The service is fast, the owner is very attentive, always checking if everything is alright. I recommend it 1000%!
