14/09/2026: Excellent brunch, a truly pleasant surprise. A warm welcome, and even without a reservation, the wait was reasonable depending on the time. The €24 brunch menu is unbeatable: a savory dish, a sweet dish, muesli or something similar, a hot drink, and a cold drink. I haven't seen better elsewhere, especially at this price. The pancakes are thick, fluffy, and everything is really delicious. Efficient service, generous portions: I had trouble finishing it because it was so filling. A place to keep in mind for a complete and high-quality brunch.

12/09/2026: I have my little routines at La Grillardière, even though it had been a while since my last visit… and honestly, it's still just as good! The service was top-notch, the waiter very attentive and pleasant, and the portions were really generous. We left feeling full and satisfied 😋 A sure bet and a great place for people from Lyon! I highly recommend it. 👌

11/09/2026: What can I say… The place is very pretty, and the staff is, on the whole, pleasant and welcoming. Special mention, however, goes to the gentleman in his sixties who greeted us: a magnificent concept of hospitality where saying hello and goodbye seem to be extra charges. A smile? Now that's clearly a luxury. A remarkably understated customer experience: not a word too many, not a hint of warmth. You almost admire the performance. It must be said that it takes a certain talent to work in reception while giving the impression that the presence of guests is a personal ordeal. Perhaps a short course in customer service would be worthwhile, or, failing that, a job where saying hello isn't essential. It's a shame, because the place is truly lovely. I therefore recommend it without hesitation… but only if the gentleman isn't on duty. Because he alone could almost make you regret coming.

08/09/2026: A very good restaurant, ideally located in the heart of Charbonnières-les-Bains. The dishes are delicious, generous, and very hearty: we truly enjoyed our meal! The only slight drawback: we felt a real difference in the welcome and attention given to walk-in customers compared to regulars. It's a bit of a shame, because a warmer and more equitable welcome would have made the experience perfect. Nevertheless, it remains a great place to discover!

31/08/2026: If you're a fan of beef tartare, you can go there without hesitation! You have the choice between a classic, Italian, or Thai marinade. I went for the classic: MAGNIFICENT!! Perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented :) The staff is very friendly and attentive to their customers 😊 I'm delighted to have discovered this place and will definitely be back.

30/07/2026: EDIT following the owner's response: 1) We arrived EARLY and had to wait before being served (not a problem in itself, but surprising to apparently LIE about our arrival time?). 2) I would like to remind you that we CALLED SEVERAL TIMES to confirm the time, and you confirmed (even on the same day) that we could arrive at 2 PM. Thank you for demonstrating your bad faith to everyone. I hope this review will make your staff learn, but I clearly doubt it, judging by your response. Disastrous experience this lunchtime. The reservation was initially made by my partner for my birthday. Upon arrival, a woman took care of us very quickly and seated us. There wasn't really a greeting, and we felt like we were bothering them because the reservation was for 2 PM (it's worth noting that my partner had called beforehand and on the same day to make sure there wouldn't be any problem booking at 2 PM). The waitress handed us the menus and immediately asked what we wanted to order (drinks, food) even though we hadn't had a chance to open them. We told her we needed a moment to look, to which she replied, "Hurry up, we're about to close." So we left, very annoyed, especially since we had a significant budget and were about to spend it. We don't recommend this place, or at least we hope you get different staff.

14/09/2026: Excellent food, but a worrying work environment. The value for money is truly unbeatable compared to other Lebanese restaurants in the area. Their chicken shawarma is great. Unfortunately, my experience was marred: I witnessed a violent altercation among the staff, leaving a waitress in tears and deeply distressed. This disrupts the flow of the place and makes me much less inclined to return. I sincerely hope that management will take steps to improve the well-being of its staff at work.

17/09/2026: Very good pizzas, good crust, although I prefer the thinner crusts from my favorite Italian restaurant near me (like Tonda Romana). However, I would point out that the ingredients aren't always in season, which is a shame, but they are of good quality.

02/09/2026: We are regular customers and we really enjoy your pizzas, which are usually delicious. However, this is the third time we've noticed that the Savoyarde has lost its flavor: the cheese taste is practically nonexistent. I thought it might be a temporary product change, but last Saturday, the Savoyarde was once again devoid of cheese flavor and, unfortunately, burnt on both sides.

02/09/2026: What a joy to stumble upon this restaurant while strolling down Rue Mercière! La Mère Cottivet was our favorite bouchon when we lived in Lyon several years ago. It used to be in the Cordeliers district, and when we wanted to go there one day while passing through Lyon, it was gone, and we thought it had closed for good. Anyway… I'm getting carried away with my memories, let's get back to the point: The best Lyonnais bouchon there is, that hasn't changed! Deliciously authentic cuisine, a warm atmosphere, and on top of that, exceptional service! Thank you to Hadrien (with an "H") for this delightful experience, perfect in every way, and for his incredible sense of service. He perfectly embodies the spirit of the place ☺️
