05/02/2026: The best I've had so far. So much flavor, so no artificial seasoning... Homemade, like we should see more often... My number one. But since it's made fresh to order, avoid the 12:30-1:20 rush period without having made a reservation or order in advance. It's not your typical fast food assembly line. So it takes a little longer if you don't let us know 😅.

22/01/2026: Two chefs at the helm! For two intensely flavorful cuisines! Chef Mélanie is in charge of the burgers; everything is homemade from start to finish, from the potato and sweet potato fries to the sauces. The burger buns come straight from our favorite baker in the 9th arrondissement—I'm talking about 9ème Pain! Gourmet and generous burgers, comforting just the way we like them! Chef Thaï is in charge of Asian cuisine. Get ready, this chef knows his stuff! A whirlwind of flavors and discoveries, all served with a great atmosphere—what more could you ask for! You're all welcome; they deserve a lot of credit for their homemade food at very affordable prices! See you soon!

10/12/2025: We stumbled upon this establishment quite by chance and made a wonderful discovery. They had top-quality oils, delicious pasta dishes, and platters of charcuterie and cheeses. The owner and his staff gave us a particularly warm and friendly welcome. We left with some lovely souvenirs and the promise to return very soon.

12/11/2025: La Petite Auberge is a small restaurant located on the hill above Vieux Lyon. The food and service were superb. Everything we had was fresh, expertly prepared and served with a smile. The glace (ice cream) was the most flavorful I have ever tasted!

05/09/2025: This place has amazing food and music. We were there for Friday night with live music. Mix between English and French music was amazing. The blue cheese ravioli was probably the best dish I have ever had. Service can be slow but it's worth it. Grab a bottle and chill. If you don't speak French, take a screenshot of the menu and send it to chatGPT to translate, way better than Google translate. Also I added a picture that I could get of the chef. This dude was alone cooking for the whole restaurant. He killed it.

27/11/2025: I had a very good lunch today at this lovely establishment. The decor is very pleasant and the service was quick and friendly. My daily special was a beautiful chicken leg with a very good sauce, accompanied by potatoes and a delicious green vegetable purée. For dessert, I had a delicious sneaker tart, rich in caramel and pecans, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bill was very reasonable, and I highly recommend it!

29/12/2023: Très déçus. On attendait beaucoup de ce resto. Nous n'avons pas apprécié nos plats qui ne sont pas en phase avec les prix. Le dessert la "sphère au chocolat" n'a rien de spécial (un peu trop sucré). Nous ne reviendrons pas. Trop cher pour ce que c'est. Point positif : le service et le cadre.

24/01/2026: Disappointed by my experience at Brasserie de l’Est, especially considering the reputation of the Bocuse establishment. The service was pleasant but somewhat erratic, with long waits and some oversights. As for the food, the dishes were decent but below expectations: the flank steak was tough and the chicken was too pink. Overall, it was still acceptable, but the standard doesn't match that of a true institution. Improvements are needed.

24/01/2026: We were very disappointed by the quality of some of the dishes. The service was slow. Most importantly, the manager (who was drunk) was arrogant when we complained. This should be reported!

20/12/2024: Unmissable - warm brasserie atmosphere where all ages rub shoulders - unique menu of entrecôte fries and butter sauce - very good and generous profiteroles so 1 plate for 2 is more than enough - be careful no reservations so be there from 11:45 a.m. otherwise it's the queue!!!!charming staff
