09/09/2026: I had a wonderful time at this charming bistro. I started with a delicious foie gras terrine, followed by veal tenderloin with virgin sauce, accompanied by soufflé potatoes and a pasta gratin. I also enjoyed a glass of exceptional Cairanne AOC red wine from Domaine Richaud and finished the meal with the homemade blackcurrant ice cream sundae, known as the "winemaker's sundae." The service was remarkably friendly and of high quality, with detailed explanations of the dishes and a judicious wine selection. This establishment is a true institution dedicated to French gastronomy. Bravo!

08/09/2026: Very good authentic (I believe) Lyonnaise bouchon. All the other branches are closed on a Monday evening so we managed to get a table at the main restaurant even though it was a good distance away from where we were staying. It was well worth the trip. The starter was very simple but tasty, the main course and deserts however were absolutely delicious. Good quality fair, cooked well, not over fancy and a good portion size, I personally hate tiny or really over large portions and this was spot on. Pricing was very reasonable and I would highly recommend this to someone that is realistic about good local flavours cooked authentically. Visit this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

05/09/2026: We had dinner as a party of six at this restaurant, which was a wonderful discovery. The dishes (Italian beef tartare, steak with morels, etc.) were perfect. We enjoyed excellent wines served by the carafe. Norbert, the owner, was very attentive, warm, and helpful. We highly recommend this restaurant.

18/09/2026: My friend got kicked out of the bar because a fight broke out and he got hit (his nose was bleeding). The bouncer took a minute to come down and remove the aggressor. He came back the next day to pay for his bottle of Ruinart, and I'm being turned away tonight because the bouncer refuses to acknowledge his excessively long response time. The bar and the staff are excellent, though; the atmosphere is great when you're not getting mugged.

18/08/2026: The service is quite inconsistent; you can be ignored for 10 minutes or receive a very warm welcome. I avoid going there now, even though the setting is really nice...

05/08/2026: We really enjoyed it, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely go back. It was really lovely and the food was excellent. I don't usually leave reviews, but this place was definitely worth it. The pizzas, antipasti, and dessert were all delicious. Our server was very pleasant.

17/07/2026: 6 stars for the team and the food. We eat there every week and are never disappointed! The service is fast, with a maximum wait of 5 minutes before being served.

14/09/2026: We were forgotten for 45 minutes. No server came to take our order. We then waited another 45 minutes for our food. We almost left, but given the time, we couldn't be bothered to look for another restaurant.

22/09/2026: A very nice restaurant serving dishes that appeal to a fairly diverse clientele. The interior is very cozy for a dinner with friends and is truly conducive to relaxation. The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and friendly. A really good place to enjoy a delicious meal.

20/09/2026: A traditional restaurant offering excellent, hearty, and original cuisine in a friendly atmosphere with very attentive staff. Special mentions go to the sea bass fillet, the seafood casserole (pictured), and the chef's madeleines.

28/02/2026: A particularly friendly welcome, but also a fantastic meal! The starter, the Egg Cocotte with Auvergne Blue Cream, was truly delicious. The Beef Tartare was tasty but also presented with care. My wife had a Cabillaud on a bed of ratatouille and had to think long and hard about when she had ever had such a delicious meal. For dessert, we chose the Crème Brûlée, which we hadn't encountered in years. In short, highly recommended!

The beauty of Lyon is the authenticity of Lyonnaise food and the acceptance of good international cuisine. Had falafel and chicken shawarma and baklava it was excellent. Find your way here for an enjoyable meal
