01/11/2025: It's always a pleasure to eat at La Bergerie! The atmosphere is friendly, and the owner's (and chef's, of course) passion truly shines through in the food, thanks to a wide variety of fresh, homemade dishes. The quality cuisine is a welcome change from the usual potato gratin, fries, or green beans! A restaurant like no other.

22/01/2025: Small but very cute place. The waitresses are attentive and it's clean.

04/01/2025: Friendly and fast service, nice sandwich selection. Not much meat for 10€, though. The round bread rolls are good but would never be confused with a NYC bagel. That's ok; authentic regional cuisines are the best thing about traveling.

10/12/2025: We arrived at 12:30 today to a nearly full restaurant. I was surprised to be seated at a table for two in an inaccessible corner, especially since I was with an elderly person using a cane. Well, they eventually found us a better solution after a bit of searching. The atmosphere and decor were really nice, and the neighbors were pleasant—I even received some lingering glances from a young woman having lunch with a friend. A shame... The steak tartare was excellent, my guest's andouillette was amazing, and the Beaujolais Villages was flawless. We were very well served by Laurent and also very well served by a young blond man, who, judging by his badge, was in training (for the profession, I imagine).

01/02/2026: Good restaurant! The dishes are tasty, generously portioned, and inexpensive. There's even a vegetarian/vegan option! However, we've been several times and the service is rather cold, even unpleasant.

02/12/2025: I followed the reviews that promised an ideal place to work, and I wasted my time. There was only one power outlet in the entire café (already in use, of course), pop and rock music blasting, and exorbitant prices for a hard brownie and a bitter, bland matcha. It was my first and last time there. The staff were friendly, though.

27/11/2025: It's a shame. The place is welcoming, but the music is far too loud. I call that noise pollution! I asked them to turn the music down, but it seemed "impossible." A flimsy explanation. I won't be back.

28/11/2025: The indoor temperature was a bit chilly. Several dishes were unavailable, as was one of the draft beers on the menu. Prices were slightly higher than elsewhere, and the dish (quenelle) was decent but nothing special. They also didn't serve the standard 50cl pint of beer (each glass was a few centiliters smaller). Overall, a mixed impression...

12/02/2026: I used to enjoy La Cantarelle so much that I became a regular and gave it a 5-star review. It was a small, welcoming restaurant where you could come without a reservation, sit down at a table, and have a pleasant lunch. The dishes were generous, appetizing, and very affordable—and they still are. But today, the place is packed almost every lunchtime. Reservations seem to have become essential. Without one, you're not welcomed, and you're made to feel unwelcome. I was particularly struck by the way I was received that day (February 12, 2026). I never thought I'd leave that restaurant without having eaten, with a profound sense of unease. Success is a good thing, of course. But the spirit that made the place so charming—simplicity, spontaneity, conviviality—seems to have been diluted by the crowds. That's a shame. I don't know if I'll come back. It's probably best if I just cherish the good memories.

08/02/2026: We were a table of three and had a reservation. When we arrived around 12:30 pm, we waited almost an hour before our drink order was even taken. Then, we were told there was no more set menu and that we had to order à la carte. We barely had time to look at the menu before it was taken away and given to another table. We ordered a duck breast, requested medium-rare, which arrived overcooked, accompanied by undercooked fries. The service was extremely slow: over two hours for a main course and dessert. The dessert was also very disappointing: tasteless ice cream and store-bought whipped cream. There were many elderly people in the restaurant, but we were working, and it's inconceivable to spend so much time waiting for a meal of this quality. A very disappointing experience, both in terms of service and the quality of the food.

18/01/2026: A warm welcome and a very gentle reception. The set menu was perfect. Excellent value for money. The round table setting was a pleasant arrangement. There were six of us, allowing us to converse comfortably throughout the meal, facing each other. The waitress wittily responded to some of our puns. A meal that was both culinary and intellectual. Thank you for this delightful experience, which we will certainly repeat.

30/10/2025: A Saturday evening for three. We appreciated the warm welcome and the personal touch, with the owner handling everything single-handedly in the evening. 👌 The food is equally impressive, offering excellent value for money, reflected in the dishes with high-quality ingredients showcased beautifully in classic combinations. The flavors are bold and the portions generous. The wines on offer are unusual and very reasonably priced. A wonderful experience that would have been truly unforgettable.

09/12/2025: The service is good. The menu and daily specials are offered without any sales pressure. The casserole of the day was very good. The beef was cooked perfectly (although I did have a tiny piece that was burnt). The homemade dessert was also delicious. You can go there without hesitation, whether you choose to sit on the terrace or inside. Thank you for the hot and tasty meal.
