11/08/2024: Most of the dishes were good, but some were totally tasteless. Less of human service: there's no tangible menu but a QR code one so you need a smart phone and an internet access to order the food. The waiting time was quite long (we were here on Saturday, lunchtime). The overall price is quite high comparing with the quality, and especially if you compare it with others Chinese restaurants.

05/08/2024: I've had takeout 3 times and the wait isn't very long. I only had the beef noodles and it was truly delicious 😋 I can't give a rating for the atmosphere having never eaten there. I highly recommend and the prices are affordable

23/11/2024: La Gargotte s’est transformé en temple de la joie et de la gourmandise ! Sous la houlette du talentueux et chaleureux Yvan ! Un véritable magicien des saveurs et un ami délicieux et précieux ! Des plats aussi élégants qu’audacieux mêlés aux rires éclatants ! Une ambiance pétillante! La Gargotte est une écrin ou l’humanité se mêle à la générosité du chef ! L’amitié et le plaisir ont dîner , rit et dansé! Merci Yvan pour. Ton accueil toujours égal et ta cuisine généreuse et savoureuse !

17/11/2024: Nous sommes venus à 10… super repas!!!! Tout était soigné tant dans les saveurs que dans les présentations! Le patron charmant … le tout jeune serveur aux petits soins… si nous repassons un jour par Lyon nous reviendrons!!!!

10/12/2024: Ordered a whimsical pizza and a Neapolitan, both delicious, also a tiramisu 10/10. Do I have to order 1 pizza per person? It wasn't very clear to me, however I shared mine with a friend.

17/12/2024: Excellent dîner en couple Excellente cuisine, carte régulièrement renouvelée et service très attentionné Sans hesitation une des meilleures adresses de lyon. Un point à préciser, nous avions un chèque cadeau qui nous avait été offert. Ici, pas de choix imposé, pas de supplément masqué, on choisit ce que l on veut dans la carte, tout est clair ! De plus en indiquant le numéro de chèque cadeau dès la réservation, tout est enregistré, Il ne reste plus qu à profiter du moment ! Donc pour offrir ou pour profiter d une des meilleures tables lyonnaises, c est une adresse incontournable !

28/01/2025: Great dinner! This is the third time I've been there with friends and I'll continue. Excellent food, quiet atmosphere, relaxing setting, helpful and friendly staff. Meal made for my birthday and honestly it was incredible! We even had a drink offered at the end for the occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant!

02/08/2024: Great time spent on the Dandelion terrace. Delicious cheese omelette, perfectly cooked and original with the little pesto-type sauce which really balances the flavors well. The drinks are good and plentiful. Very pleasant staff, direct proximity to the Perrache train station and prices that are a little high but reasonable given the quality of the products and the service. I came at 8:30/9am and there were plenty of places available for breakfast. Shaded terrace until 9:30 a.m./10 a.m. in summer, on a quiet street. Ultimately, it is a beautiful, authentic and quiet place that I recommend for those who can afford it or who want to treat themselves to a little treat with good value for money. THANKS !

24/08/2024: Very nice rediscovery of this bistro. Excellent food, perfect and friendly service. Very good value for money. The +: next to metro B place Guichard, ultra easy access to Lyon. We will come back with pleasure.

08/12/2024: Very good gourmet restaurant. Please note that it is open on a Sunday in Lyon during the Festival of Lights +++. Very good quality-price compromise 45€ per menu (see photos). The only downside is that the room is a little noisy.

21/09/2024: Io e mia moglie abbiamo fatto una breve vacanza Lione. Siamo arrivati giovedì 29 agosto di sera. L’indomani mattina, desiderando vivere l’esperienza culinaria da Paul Bocuse, riusciamo a prenotare per le 13,15 dello stesso giorno. Per un disguido con il mezzo di trasporto e pensando di non poter arrivare in orario (Il ristorante dista circa 8 km dal centro) per correttezza disdiciamo la prenotazione. Nello stesso tempo telefoniamo. Alle 13,09 dopo vari tentativi (fatto dimostrabile) riusciamo a prendere la linea. A chi ci risponde diciamo che abbiamo già disdetto la prenotazione e che comunque ci stavamo recando al ristorante nella speranza di arrivare al più presto possibile. Arriviamo alle ore 13.38, 23 minuti dopo la prenotazione (fatto dimostrabile). Alla ricezione troviamo una persona molto cortese alla quale spieghiamo i fatti, io nel mio francese scolastico di decenni addietro e mia moglie nel suo inglese stentato. Questa si allontana. Nell’attesa, al di là di una vetrata, vediamo la cucina dove si davano da fare con operosità non meno di 10 cuochi. Ritorna la persona che ci aveva ricevuto e subito dopo anche un cuoco. Ambedue ci fanno capire che non c’è più, vista l’ora (saranno state le 13.45), alcuna possibilità di potere pranzare. Rinnoviamo la richiesta ma nulla da fare. Irremovibilità assoluta. Ce ne andiamo.

15/09/2024: Exceptionnelle cuisine classique et plats signature de M. Paul parfaitement exécutés. Accueil et service parfait tout en restant décontracté. Portions bourgeoises. Salle confortable , décoration classique chic. Service voiturier efficace Assurément, l’un des temples de la cuisine française de tradition Enthousiasmés, nous avons pris un nouveau rdv pour la carte d’hiver .

14/09/2024: Une très belle soirée passée dans ce restaurant authentique. Beaucoup de petites attentions de la part du personnel très sympathique. Nous avons dîné une pièce de bœuf délicieuse. Ce soir là il y avait un anniversaire et l'ambiance était festive ce qui n'a pas manqué de nous divertir.

14/09/2024: Grumpy staff. Chicken was tough. Pasta was a just a lump of pasta served in a bowl with a mushroom sauce that didn’t taste like morelles. Ate quickly so we could get out of there
