05/12/2025: A €14 salad consisting mainly of lettuce leaves! The Caesar salad had mayonnaise dressing and a few breaded pieces of chicken. No croutons. The Parmesan had no flavor. Avoid it.

22/01/2026: Despite the crowds, the service was quick and efficient. My dish, simple but well-prepared and piping hot, was quite good. The place is rather noisy, but that's somewhat to be expected in this type of restaurant. It was still difficult to have a conversation. The only minor hiccup was that I didn't get my coffee 😉... No big deal.

21/01/2026: I highly recommend this café, both here and in real life! I tell my friends about Puzzle Café, saying it's the best café in Old Lyon. The chai latte is incredible, the matcha is very good, and the hot chocolate is great too! You can have your coffee brewed using different methods, like the drip method, which isn't something you see everywhere. The pastries are amazing. The carrot cake is definitely the best I've had in Lyon, and the vegan pear and almond cake is to die for. I can't wait to try the rest! 🥹 The coffee is great, but the pastries are seriously underrated! 🥲 The atmosphere is nice, there are plenty of tables, and the decor is vintage/retro and authentic. The customer service could be warmer, though—that's the only real area for improvement I see! You can tell they have a real expertise with coffee, and for coffee lovers, it's a real treat.

04/01/2026: A place where I feel truly at ease. The space is large, bright, and calm, even when it's busy. Inside and on the terrace, the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. I love to settle in there, notebook open, with a hot chocolate often served with a pretty design on the cup. The food and wine pairing is simply incredible, perfectly conceived and enhancing each plate with remarkable precision. The experience is a true culinary journey, full of surprises, yet never losing coherence. A truly wonderful discovery, which we wholeheartedly recommend for an intimate and memorable gastronomic experience.

28/01/2026: The service staff were very attentive and enthusiastic, which is highly commendable! The food, however, was disappointing. We came specifically because of its two Michelin stars, and the €98 lunch set menu wasn't particularly impressive. The foie gras appetizer wasn't as good as another restaurant (which only charges €29 for a set menu). Before dessert, they asked if we wanted cheese. Based on previous experience at other restaurants where cheese is usually included, we agreed without question. However, here cheese costs €40 per person.
