16/08/2026: The rose-lychee iced tea is tasteless; with my eyes closed, I could almost mistake it for water. Given the price, it's disappointing to pay so much and get no flavor or enjoyment. Perhaps I just had bad luck? Or maybe the lemonades are better than the teas? In any case, I can't taste either rose or lychee here... However, the setting and atmosphere of the place are unique and truly charming.

10/09/2026: The restaurant was far too hot. There were several fans, and I appreciated the effort, but there was no difference in how well they blew from table to table. My table received no airflow at all, and I had a sweaty dinner. Several other customers were also using fans. I asked if they could direct the fans towards me, but they didn't do anything about it. I was really looking forward to the meal, so I'm very disappointed that I couldn't concentrate on the taste during the latter half of the course because of the heat. The foie gras appetizer was absolutely delicious. It's a taste I would love to have again and again.

The selection is quite varied, from hot to cold platters, as are the individual platters, both in terms of variety and quantity. A friendly place with a warm atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a platter with a good drink. The drinks menu reflects the quality of the food: once again, local expertise and quality are showcased. This is an address I sincerely recommend, and an experience that was particularly appreciated, especially due to the professionalism of the owners.

12/09/2026: Odessa Comptoir is by far my favorite restaurant in Lyon. I loved being able to try multiple dishes and pair everything with some really good wine. It’s the kind of place where you can order a bunch of things, share, and just enjoy the experience. The inside has such a fun vibe. It’s definitely cramped, but in a way that makes the place feel lively and leads to good conversations and great people watching. I’d absolutely recommend it for dinner, but make a reservation beforehand because this is a popular one! 🍷

30/08/2026: Positive points - I love the place and have been there about three times during my visits to Lyon. - Overall, the food is very good. Of the three dishes I ordered this time, two were really excellent (the chorizo ​​and pork loin buns) and consistent with what I had enjoyed on my previous visits. Negative points - I was very disappointed with the €11 tomato salad shown at the bottom of my photo. I find this dish quite inconsistent with the rest of the menu: very little apparent effort put into the ingredients and, above all, a truly tiny portion for the price. I almost felt ripped off. For €11 worth of tomatoes, one would at least expect a much more generous portion. As it stands, I would prefer to see this dish removed from the menu or at least double the quantity. Otherwise, objectively, it's highway robbery; forgive me, but it's too obvious with this dish. - The service was adequate but rather understated and uninviting. Nothing unpleasant, but a bit more friendliness would have made the experience much more welcoming. - Finally, the restroom bin was constantly overflowing, even though the restaurant was very quiet and several staff members were available. This is the kind of detail that could easily be checked and corrected. In short: a place I enjoy and where I've eaten very well before, but this last experience was too inconsistent to give more than 3 stars.

The €64 price tag is more than justified given the abundance and high quality of the dishes. To finish the meal, the dessert was perfect, providing a fresh and light ending. Special mention for the impeccable service and the great kindness of the waiters. Excellent value for money that I highly recommend!
