16/05/2026: A traditional Lyonnais bistro just as we imagined it! 🤩🍽️ It was our first time in a bouchon, and Chez Huguon was exactly what we were hoping for: a warm atmosphere, period decor, a lovely welcome, and delicious, unpretentious food. 👨‍🍳 A truly wonderful, authentic, and generous experience. ❤️😊

07/05/2026: Limited selection, but everything looks homemade, so it's very good. The portions are generous, and the quenelles are excellent! (Photo for 3 people). Reservations are recommended as it's a small establishment. The service and welcome seem rather cold at first, but they become more pleasant as the meal progresses. A good place to eat!

Furthermore, having a Wonderbox voucher didn't affect the quality of service at all. In short, a top-notch restaurant!

02/06/2026: A very cozy restaurant with a good selection of Korean barbecue and à la carte dishes. The portions are generous. I had the spicy pork, and it was really delicious. The servers are incredibly friendly! I highly recommend it.

Bravo to the whole team, the chef and his amazing dishes, and the perfect customer service 👍🤩. I speak from experience, having worked in the hotel and restaurant industry for 20 years. 07/05/2026: We had a reservation and, upon arrival, were seated to a terrace that was still half empty. After waiting 45 minutes without the waiter returning, and while the terrace had by then become completely full, we had to flag him down. He then informed us that he could only take drink orders, as the kitchen was no longer taking orders because it was full. A very disappointing experience; I do not recommend it.

09/06/2026: Everything was simply outstanding. The food was incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared. A heartfelt thank you to the chef and the entire team for this wonderful culinary experience. I was particularly impressed by the dessert with black garlic – an unusual and very successful combination that truly surprised me. If I'm ever in Lyon again, I will definitely return.
