03/07/2026: We had a delicious breakfast at Le Dandelion. The food was high quality and very fresh. We had omelets presented on a plate with some herbs, fresh fruit with yogurt and granola, and freshly baked pastries. The matcha latte was made with good quality matcha. The staff is friendly and the service was perfect. We went back a few times during our stay in Lyon.

The dining room seats about thirty, complemented by a tiny sidewalk terrace: it's best to reserve, even on a Monday evening, or you risk being turned away. As for the food: a fresh and generous Lyonnaise salad as a starter. The pea soup (offered as the daily starter) was delicious, light, and perfectly seasonal—ideal to begin the meal. For the main course, a quenelle served in an excellent crayfish sauce, though without any side dishes (no rice or potatoes) — surprising but not a problem, as the quenelle was perfectly satisfying on its own. The andouillette sausage, on the other hand, was served with boiled potatoes: both were cooked to perfection, and a wise choice that didn't make the dish too heavy. For dessert, the homemade chocolate mousse was the perfect ending to the meal — absolutely divine. 14/07/2026: This restaurant is a rare gem in Lyon. I truly had a gastronomic experience; simply put, everything was perfect. Let's start with the dining room, whose decor transports you to another place with its zen and nostalgic ambiance. The lighting is soft, and the room is bathed in tranquility. In short, from the moment you arrive, everything is in place to create the perfect atmosphere for what awaits you. The service is on par with everything else. The dishes are served promptly, and if needed, the staff can advise you on the best sake to accompany your meal, explain the ingredients, and even suggest how to best enjoy each course throughout your culinary journey. And finally, the cuisine, which is simply exceptional. Chef Yong-Joo Kim is an artist; there wasn't a single false note. Everything was meticulously planned to achieve the perfect combination of flavors. He even reconciled me with certain foods I thought I didn't like, such as his special eel sushi, which is one of the best on his 'wasabi' menu. Even the desserts blew me away, and I'm not usually one for sweets, but the two desserts on their menu were both delicious and light. As you've probably gathered from these few lines, I highly recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers in Lyon looking to enjoy authentic Japanese dishes that showcase exceptional ingredients with just the right amount of flavor.

The initial reception included a complaint about being 25 minutes late on a Saturday... unpleasant, especially since we had plenty of time choosing our wines. The overall atmosphere was cold, both in terms of service and at checkout, when neither staff member said goodbye. I'll skip over a few comments I received from my guests about the terrace and the table, which were less important to me. I sincerely believe that having such beautiful cuisine as yours doesn't excuse a lack of professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend you.

01/08/2026: La Table du Brouilly is the place to be in Beaujolais. The dishes are impeccable, expertly prepared, and bursting with flavor. The wine recommendations are precise, accurate, and perfectly suited. And above all, the two owners make a fantastic team: one in the kitchen, the other in the dining room, with genuine passion and generosity. A must-try when visiting Beaujolais.

13/07/2026: I ordered a shawarma for €18, thinking it would be good given the reviews, but besides being expensive, it was absolutely terrible. Avoid it! I had to buy a dessert at the bakery just to have something to eat. Following your reply: I ordered a shawarma and this is what you served me. Perhaps you don't know what a shawarma is. Anyway, it was absolutely awful. I don't recommend it; it had no flavor whatsoever. I've never eaten at a Lebanese restaurant with such poor quality. I regret spending money there. Yes, yes, I would like a refund since I had to throw the meal away. 🙂
