02/12/2025: A wonderful discovery for lunch for two! We received a very warm welcome, the place was lovely, we ate very well, the homemade dishes were excellent, the desserts were superb, the wine was good – in short, everything was great, we'll be back, I highly recommend it!

23/11/2025: The restaurant didn't note our reservation, so we didn't have the opportunity to rate the different aspects. Arriving at 7 pm without a reservation on a Saturday night during the Beaujolais Marathon with seven people wasn't ideal!

04/01/2026: The staff were very friendly, but the rest left much to be desired (the food wasn't fresh, the dessert was questionable). As for the price, it's very, very expensive for what it is.

02/02/2026: Le Cintra is a lovely spot in the heart of Lyon, appreciated for its elegant and welcoming atmosphere, typical of traditional brasseries. The French cuisine is refined, with flavorful and beautifully presented dishes, a special mention for the classics on the menu. The service is friendly and professional, although the wait can be a little long during peak hours. The ambiance, sometimes lively with a piano in the evening, adds a real bonus. A great place for a casual dinner or a special occasion.

01/02/2026: I'm leaving this review not because I'm disappointed with the restaurant itself, but because of my phone reservation... Let me explain: I wanted to use a Wonderbox worth €70 for a meal for two. I called Le Cintra, and the person I spoke to (always the same one) told me, when I asked if they accepted Wonderboxes and what was possible with my box, yes, but that there were several boxes and he couldn't tell me which ones. So I made the reservation based on that information, and yesterday when I presented my Wonderbox, the waiter told me they didn't accept them, but that I could still use it up to €39.99, deducted from the total bill... So, a €70 box for a €40 discount, unbelievable... For this reason, I won't be returning to Le Cintra. I'm very disappointed by this behavior.

30/12/2025: A pretentious bartender who looks down on the customers. Can't even answer a simple question without being arrogant. And they don't have any beer available anyway.

27/01/2026: Simple, inexpensive, friendly welcome, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizzas for the price, especially the vegetarian one. Pleasant terrace on a quiet square.

23/11/2025: A very bad experience. The reception was completely unfriendly: no greeting, just an unpleasant tone. The waiter answered the phone without gloves and then handled the tacos directly, which is frankly alarming from a hygiene standpoint. The tacos themselves weren't good: a huge amount of fries, very little filling, and no flavor. Honestly, I regret going there. A snack bar to avoid.

04/02/2026: A lovely evening at Allegria. The young and friendly waiters went out of their way to find me a table and were very helpful. The owner, genuine and attentive, made sure we knew if we needed anything. Finally, the dish (gnocchi gratin) was excellent. A great find!

03/02/2026: Everyone else at the tables around us who had their aperitifs got tapenade, but we didn't. The meat was incredibly fatty; I couldn't even eat half of it. It was very expensive considering the quality. The food has gone downhill drastically. We used to eat very well, but that was before...

10/12/2025: Our experience at the Ibis hotel restaurant was very mixed. We arrived around 7 pm; the restaurant was empty, there was no music, and the atmosphere was rather gloomy. We each ordered a Gin and Tonic as an aperitif and only received, after several minutes of waiting, a simple glass of Sprite disguised as a gin glass. The young woman serving was friendly but didn't speak French very well. As for the meal, we ordered the hamburger, which was supposed to have bacon and raclette cheese, but in the end, we received neither, instead cheddar cheese. The experience was far from pleasant; moreover, it was cold in the restaurant, and the atmosphere was definitely lacking. The next morning, we had the buffet breakfast included with our room. The quality of the service, the welcome, and the atmosphere were very different from the previous day. Overall, it is preferable to eat breakfast, but it is better to avoid dinner.

The service is impeccable: friendly, professional, and attentive. I loved the burger of the day and the homemade tart. The atmosphere is pleasant, simple yet refined, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Excellent value for money; I'll gladly return.

15/12/2025: Having eaten there several times, I can confirm that this restaurant is of very high quality. The meat and fish dishes are particularly good, especially the sushi. The buffets are regularly replenished, the premises are clean, and the staff is friendly. Furthermore, the price-quality ratio is very reasonable; I have never been disappointed. This restaurant is, for me, a sure bet, even a benchmark.
