24/08/2026: Tried it several times on the terrace at lunchtime: a very good spot in Confluence. The lunch specials are unbeatable: the food is excellent, the ingredients are fresh. You can tell everything is homemade. The portions are generous and the desserts… Special mention for the chef's lemon tart 😋 The menu is updated and refined with seasonal products. The manager always has a smile and the service is quick and efficient: impeccable. I highly recommend it!!

26/08/2026: Hello. I come here regularly, either alone or with my children. I particularly enjoy this cafeteria. The menus are varied and of good quality, and it's clean. The staff and manager are very welcoming. We have a lovely time as a family in the evening, and for a tasty snack in the afternoon, the atmosphere is very pleasant too. In short, highly recommended!

There's no need for fuss when the quality of the ingredients is so high. It's exactly the kind of cuisine I appreciate: simple in appearance, but demanding in its execution. You can feel the respect for the ingredients, the expertise, and the desire to please. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere relaxed, making the experience even more enjoyable. Congratulations to the entire team for this wonderful restaurant where, above all, you come for the taste. I will definitely be back!

20/07/2026: The foie gras is not good at all because it’s super cold and feel like it’s just out of freezer. So we couldn’t taste the flavor of it. We’ve asked the waitress if there is way to improve it, like to warm it. She told us to wait. For a small starter, this costs 18 euros…

04/09/2026: Last night we had dinner at this charming restaurant. It wasn't our first time, and it certainly won't be our last. Everything was perfect. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls as a starter, which we shared. Then my wife had the John Dory fillet with saffron mussels, and I had the sea bream bouillabaisse. Everything was absolutely delicious. The sea bream surprised me even more because I'd had a bad experience in Cannes where I'd ordered a bouillabaisse that had greatly disappointed me. The sea bream I was served was simply perfect; just thinking about it makes me hungry, and yet I'd already eaten a rather good meal. For dessert, I chose the pistachio tiramisu, and once again, it was incredibly good. I could have had a second one if I hadn't had to be sensible, haha... it's not easy to be sensible at a restaurant like L'Horloge Gourmande. A big thank you to the chef, and a big thank you to the lady who served us so efficiently and pleasantly.

12/09/2026: Language barrier to start with (waiter wasn’t English speaker), besides the place did not give us the good vibe in general. Cannot rate their food as we did not eat here. In response to the owner’s reply: This service is to allow people to Review businesses based on THEIR personal experience. As foreign traveller it is important to know where you can find someone that understands my needs since at the end of the day I’m going to buy from your business. Maybe use these feedback to improve your service rather than getting upset of a review based on a personal experience of two customers who used your services and were not impressed. Please note that i have mentioned the bar service and I have not implied any negative review to the food or the restaurant side of your business. Hope this helps. Take care.

28/08/2026: A wonderful experience! We dined at the gourmet restaurant, opting for the tasting menu. All the dishes were delicious (only fish dishes). In fact, when we made our reservation, we had requested vegetarian meals. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable. The dining room is very comfortable and the view of Lyon is magnificent.

24/08/2026: Lunch on an August day: very quiet but a very friendly waiter! The beef tartare was delicious and of high quality, accompanied by wonderfully crispy sautéed potatoes. The glass of white wine that came with it and the gourmet coffee to finish the meal were also excellent. A very good restaurant in an authentic setting!

16/09/2026: A glass of lemonade and a glass of iced tea, total €10... VERY EXPENSIVE... What a shame. Pleasant terrace in the afternoon.

08/09/2026: A very charming little spot in Old Lyon! We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the terrace, with its lovely little lamps and the beautiful tree right in front: it's truly pleasant and even very romantic in the evening. Service: Special mention for the welcome: the gentleman spontaneously brought a bowl of fresh water for our dog, a simple gesture that we truly appreciated. Thank you! Thank you! I enjoyed an excellent Spicy Ginger Beer, and it was definitely spicy! All the drinks (lemonade, fruit juice, etc.) were good. Value for money: The drinks are still quite expensive, with few items under €5, but we're in Old Lyon, so that didn't really surprise us. A lovely little place where you feel comfortable and where we will gladly return.

13/08/2026: A very nice little place with a short menu, but very tasty! As a German, please remember that the French 'medium' is more like the German 'lightly browned'.
