13/12/2025: I was able to order a taco meal at this fast food restaurant. The order was ready at the requested time. The taco was good, but nothing special. The manager is very welcoming and friendly. He also accepts restaurant cards. Now I just need to try the kebabs for that fifth star.

29/09/2025: A real favorite! ⭐️ The dishes are generous and most are under €20, which is truly appreciable and rare, especially in Lyon. The menu is varied, everything is tasty and well-prepared. As someone of Italian descent, I can say that you'll find the true tastes of Italy here! This is, in my opinion, the best Italian restaurant in Lyon. The service is impeccable: the waiters are warm, attentive, and fast. A little extra for the cocktails, which are excellent.

You can really feel the passion behind each plate. I highly recommend this restaurant and will happily return!

Just so you know, the number of chilies indicating the "hotness" of the dish isn't very accurate. My son ordered the spiciest dish, and it was quite spicy. But it was very good, so I highly recommend it.

01/12/2025: This review is solely for the business operation of the establishment, and not about the food or service. On the website, and on the restaurant’s Instagram profile page, it indicates that it is open 7 days a week from 6pm-11pm. However, today, December 1, 2025, I stood outside the bar at 6pm (and again at 7pm thinking they might have the hours of operation wrongly indicated online), and it was completely dark inside both times. I also tried calling, but to no avail. It is unacceptable to advertise that an establishment is open 7 days a week when it is not. Simply indicate the days that the place is closed online. I hope that is not a difficult task to do for the sister restaurant of a Michelin-starred restaurant. To prove this is all true, I have also enclosed the photos of my visit with the time stamp in this review.

19/11/2025: The wine list is very diverse. The staff is friendly and the selection of appetizers is reasonable. I highly recommend it.

04/03/2026: Here, it's very casual, no frills or fuss. I ate at the bar and it didn't bother me at all. The quarter-liter of red wine was decent, and the waitress was welcoming, energetic, and very friendly. The food is home-style: simple, generous, and really good dishes. It's also worth noting that it was almost full at lunchtime, and despite that, the service was very quick. A complete lunch for €19.20 with a quarter-liter of wine and a coffee... A simple and efficient place, just the way we like them.

06/02/2026: When I made the reservation, they asked if there would be frogs' legs. I replied that I thought there would be three, plus a children's menu. On the day, my partner didn't want them, but we didn't have a choice; in any case, there wasn't a menu to choose anything else. For an aperitif, they offered me a glass of white wine, but then they were out. The children's menu consisted of minced steak with either pasta or potato gratin, so there wasn't really a choice. The minced steak was rock hard, so it was inedible for a three-year-old. Luckily, the frogs' legs and the potato gratin were quite good. For dessert, it depends on what's left from the day before, but there's no children's dessert, so we got her a waffle. It was topped with an extremely sweet spread that was a complete flop. The dining room is rather small, so it's noisy when there's a large table. The service wasn't great, in short, we don't really plan on coming back.

14/02/2026: I ordered in the evening. It was delicious, very fresh, and the onigiri were unique and well-made. I recommend it! The sushi was much better than Sushi Hand.

15/12/2025: Comptoir Cité enjoys an ideal location just steps from the Cité Internationale, making it convenient for lunch during a conference. The portions are decent, but the pulled pork in the Texas burger was a bit dry and harder to chew than one would expect from pulled pork. A practical choice, but with room for improvement in this regard.

24/10/2025: Very nice address, the staff is very welcoming and the dishes generous. Try the Braille table in the evening.

27/01/2026: With great location just next to the river Saône in Lyon. As an asian who uses to have the taste of Ramen, I would say that all food are fresh and well prepared. However, if you use to have Ramen in Asia, with standard of gourmet demander, I strongly suggest not trying it as it is totally different from those great Japanese Ramen chains and you will be really disappointed. On the other hand, their Gyoza with Saint-Jacques et encornets are delicious especially compared to Gyoza with Pork. If you were there, really have to give it a try. In terms of service, all staffs are super friendly. Very Japanese style service. However, those who took orders are not as professional as in a restaurant as they don't take the order by persons who entered the store first and they missed served our order until we reminded them. Overall, it is a nice experience but I don't think that I will re-visit it again as the Ramen doesn't reach my expectation. However, it is still good for those who like to try fresh-made Japanese ramen in Lyon.

12/03/2026: Great atmosphere, I went there for a drink accompanied by a generous platter of cheeses and charcuterie… it was perfect!

10/03/2026: We made a reservation by phone, but no table was ready when we arrived. The staff had to move other people to seat us. After waiting for over an hour, we had only received our drinks, and no one had come to take our food order. So we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. When I pointed out that the service was far too slow, the only response was that they were short-staffed, without even an apology. I won't be returning.

29/03/2026: The website was advertised as "open" on a Sunday evening! We went there and the doors were closed!!! Please update your website! It's annoying 🙄 So, we went somewhere else.
