12/07/2026: Impeccable service and cuisine! Warm welcome, superb setting on the banks of the Saône. Be sure to book in advance. We had the frogs' legs as a main course, a good portion for one person, a real treat. The Colonel's Cup for dessert was excellent; the vodka served as a shot on the side allowed you to mix it yourself. The chocolate fondant was perfect, and the accompanying whipped cream was divine—light and airy, not at all sweet, providing a lovely contrast to the still-warm fondant.

09/07/2026: A wonderful experience. The setting is lovely, right on the banks of the Saône. The food is very good, the frogs' legs are excellent, and the tiramisu is to die for. I highly recommend it. I would gladly return.

03/06/2026: One-night stay with meals. Upon our arrival at 3:45 PM, everything was closed, and it was only after calling the hotel that the owner, the restaurant's chef, came to open the door for us! We were disappointed by the meal, which was mediocre despite being advertised as "chef's cuisine"... the chef himself served us, dressed in jeans and sneakers, along with his two apprentice waitresses from Central Africa, who were nice but not up to the standard expected of this type of establishment. Nice wine list. In short, a disappointment.

Inside the bathroom (innovative design) is a Transformational experience; Positively Energetic with an 8-9th Dimensional surprise(I swear I got glimpse of Dr. Who in the reflection, lol) and will become the talk of the table upon your return!!!!!!

21/05/2026: Nice concept. The pizzas are good, but there's no point in specifying that the meats are halal if you use the same gloves for both halal and pork. This also poses a problem for allergens.

14/07/2026: We frequent Café de la Crèche regularly, especially during the summer months or winter. Today we arrived in an exceptional heatwave, with an outside/inside temperature of 39 degrees Celsius. No fans, no air conditioning!! This nursery is straight out of the 1950s; perhaps it should update itself in 2026 to account for climate change and heatwaves 🥵 We were very disappointed with the service, especially the exasperated waitress who showed no desire to serve us and placed our glasses like ashtrays, without a word of greeting! We come to Café de la Crèche regularly, but what a disappointment!!! We should ask for a refund for our drinks today. We had to finish our drinks very quickly and leave for an air-conditioned place beforehand to avoid feeling unwell. Thanks to the management of the establishment, well done 👎🏻 We invite you to reply to this Google review because we would like to hear your reaction. A simple question? Why didn't you invest in a simple fan? Too expensive, around a hundred euros? Even just to demonstrate your good faith? What do you expect us to do, bring our fan every time we come to eat at your establishment? La X Rousse is known for having air-conditioned bars and places; don't think you're the only bar/restaurant and that we're going to beg you for a tiny fan! This incident has certainly dampened our enthusiasm for returning to your establishment, knowing that this has happened several times during the summer and that we've encountered the same problem. Shameful, truly shameful!

28/06/2026: I'm very disappointed with this restaurant, which used to be really good. Now the dishes are bland and very greasy. How could a restaurant that was so good have changed so much? Here's a comparison of the tagliatelle carbonara I had several years ago and what they have now. It's a real disaster! How can you serve a dish like that? It's cafeteria food, whereas before it was delicious. The same goes for other dishes...

25/07/2026: Friendly welcome, quick service, well-prepared homemade food in astronomical quantities (we managed a plate of gratin dauphinois for four, but it was tough). Excellent value for money.

03/05/2026: We enjoyed the set menu: tripe and sweetbreads with tomato sauce and mashed potatoes. Delicious, hearty, and entirely homemade. We had a lovely time outside in the courtyard. Simple and friendly atmosphere. I recommend it.

24/05/2026: I work right next door, and several colleagues had already mentioned problems after eating there. Personally, I had a stomach ache after going. Seeing the administrative closure today for serious hygiene breaches, lack of cleaning, improper storage, and absence of health inspections clearly confirms that there was a real problem. A restaurant to avoid.
