31/03/2026: Ordered today and received two absolutely delicious dishes. The flavors were spot on, the food generous and perfectly executed. Special mention also goes to the packaging, which was neat and practical, allowing you to fully enjoy your meal even when taking it away. Despite the roadworks on the Genas road that might make you reluctant to travel, don't hesitate to go: it's well worth the trip. An excellent place that I highly recommend! Finally, the service was friendly! I'm glad I chose the wrong restaurant :-)

Valerian, a huge Mario fan, made ordering even more fun 😄 The welcome was super friendly, the atmosphere was great, it was really enjoyable! The service was quick and efficient. 30/12/2025: Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Good sandwiches. We were satisfied, thank you. Just one comment about the baguette sandwich. The menu pictures show "baguette sandwich." That's what attracted us. We asked if it was fresh baguette, and we were told yes. When we received the sandwich, it was a kebab bread roll, which isn't the same thing. We pointed this out, and we were told that's the bread used for all the sandwiches. Okay... we didn't pursue it further. We asked if it was halal, and the answer was yes, but indeed, upon closer inspection, it wasn't written anywhere. Unless I missed it, and I apologize if that's the case. The portion of fries was also a bit small. The bottom line is that it was good, and it did the trick for a quick lunch break.

14/03/2026: Today, the woman who works Saturday mornings was very rude to me. I'm not French, and I tried to speak French to ask for the menu and to avoid being rude (since I was trying to speak French). She started yelling at me and mistreating me. People had to come and calm the situation and explain to her that I don't speak French. I made an effort to speak French, but she was still rude to me.

21/02/2026: Great place for a quick bite. Very good tacos, with various sizes to suit every occasion. Even the smallest one fills you up enough to keep you from going hungry. Fair prices, friendly staff.

18/01/2026: The evening went extremely well. This is the third time we've booked a table at this bar on Thursdays before going to student nights, and whether there are 5 or 20 of us, we're always very well received. The waiter is friendly and patient, and the prices are the most affordable we've found in Lyon. The music selection is very tasteful, but not too loud, so we can still hear each other. We recommend it 100%, and plan to return as soon as possible.

02/04/2026: September. Service was a bit slow. Four pieces of plastic packaging in the meat!!! The meat wasn't changed, just "re-set" (reheated and served again). When the dish returned, the mashed potatoes were "very oily," they had been reheated in oil with the meat... Disgusting dish... I left it. Desserts were served without spoons; the young waitress came back with the spoons... and threw them on the table. Bread baskets collected from the tables were returned to the general bread basket to be refilled. It was for my birthday, but the meal was ruined. What a shame!

04/01/2025: Friendly and fast service, nice sandwich selection. Not much meat for 10€, though. The round bread rolls are good but would never be confused with a NYC bagel. That's ok; authentic regional cuisines are the best thing about traveling.

05/03/2026: I had a wonderful lunch today at this lovely restaurant located right in the city center next to the church. The setting is very pleasant, the service friendly and quick, and I thoroughly enjoyed a very generous daily special with a delicious crème brûlée, all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it!

21/03/2026: Discovered when our daughter moved to Villeurbanne 🥰 A real gem...the pizzas 🍕 are delicious. And the people who run the restaurant are fantastic...even with our husky charming them 😜.

13/03/2026: Rigatoni with Octopus for €21!!! With squid instead. Borderline rip-off. But hey, the old guy serving is nice, so we let it slide. A lunch break costing over €25 is outrageous!!! For a plate of pasta and a beer. Especially when the ingredients aren't even good. Just so you know.
