15/03/2026: The pizza arrived an hour and a half late, already cold. The mushrooms looked like burnt peelings, the cheese was practically nonexistent and completely unflavored. The pizza was dry, poorly topped, and really unappetizing. Plus, it tasted like it had been made the day before. Frankly, it's one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Very disappointing.

06/03/2026: I called Domino's Lyon 7 to report that the order status indicated the pizza had been delivered. The person I spoke to said the phone number was incorrect and that the delivery driver would come back... He never came, and I was never called back despite my two subsequent calls.

08/12/2025: Conveniently located near the metro and the Bellecour station. Underground parking is a very practical €12 per night. No housekeeping was provided for the two days, and there was no coffee machine in the room.

05/12/2025: The hotel may be beautiful, but the staff leaves much to be desired, especially a certain Manon who is extremely unpleasant and condescending.

16/12/2025: Don't go there! I found a bug in my taco, and if they delete my review, I'll post the regular snack bar. I swear that's really what was in my taco; I have proof. So stop deleting reviews and photos because I'll expose you all over Lyon. I could have gotten some kind of disease from your crappy tacos.

21/01/2026: A wonderful evening spent with colleagues at this restaurant, even though we weren't hotel guests. The service was excellent and tailored to our needs, we enjoyed pleasant conversations with the management and staff, and the food was superb! Don't hesitate! 👌

20/12/2025: I was staying overnight, so I visited with three colleagues. The service was excellent and the food was of a high standard. However, there were some items on the menu that weren't available. Looking back, it seems that the menu is changed regularly, so the information on the current menu is unlikely to be valid in the future. However, I feel that the (vegetable) curry might not be appealing enough to people in Japan, where curry is a daily staple, or in India, where curry originated.

23/06/2025: I grabbed a croissant when I didn't need one so I could sit down for 30 minutes at a table to work while I had an appointment at another store. The waitress came to me as soon as I got my laptop out, to kick me out because I hadn't paid at the cash register "on the premises." I couldn't get a refund for the croissant, or ask to pay the difference between the cash register and the takeaway. So I left as if I'd been accused of being a thief. No humane gesture from the waitress, no "solution" from the salesperson. He hadn't told me there were two options; that's a mistake that happens, no problem. But on the other hand, when you work in a service industry and forget to serve people who are honest and willing to pay, that's a problem. 1/5, I will never go to any Paul's again in France or abroad. Too bad I travel a lot, so sandwiches at the station were fine.

25/02/2026: A wonderful discovery at Les Halles Paul Bocuse. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal from start to finish, and it had been a very long time since I'd had such a delicious meal! The staff were friendly and professional—perfect. I will definitely be back!

21/03/2026: Saturday early afternoon A very disappointing experience. I simply asked politely whether I should wait in line or go straight to a table, as there was no line beforehand and several tables were empty. The waitress replied rudely, "You're not going to cut in front of people." I didn't argue further so as not to ruin my afternoon, and I decided to go somewhere else. I went to the Bonaparte bar, 200 meters away, where the welcome was warm and the service excellent. This bar is definitely one to avoid.

23/12/2025: Besides being very friendly, the kebabs and platters are delicious. Just look at the crowds that come to eat there to understand how good they are. The cleanliness and service are perfect.

09/03/2026: I ordered from the drive-thru, and the staff were incredibly rude, not even a hello or goodbye. The food wasn't even packaged properly; the bag of fries was only half full and unsalted. Disappointing.

15/03/2026: It was alright!! There was not a lot of person at night.. though, theres the figure skaters that loves to scare each other and it pissed me off, I was with my cousins (and their friend) but also with my aunt and dad, so it was nice I got the chance to help them.. a bit! But the issue was that when it was about to close i was doing a last skate around the rink and then theres the so called annoying figure skaters that comes over to me to scare me, we can't do anything about it!! But beside that, it was amazing

15/03/2026: I agree with several comments regarding the children's experience. The place promises a great family experience, but it falls short. While other rinks offer super fun skating aids (push-push skates), at Charlemagne you're left to fend for yourself with your little ones, keeping them safe among those weaving at top speed and skidding near beginners without a single attendant intervening. Management should review its family policy, obviously keeping a certain number of push-push skates for people with disabilities and renting out the rest, because many parents would be willing to pay for the promised experience, and that's how you do business :) Furthermore, the young people renting skates aren't pleasant, and the skates aren't great. Painful after 15 minutes. Head to another rink if you have children.

20/02/2026: Avoid at all costs. It's getting worse and worse. The service is appalling, no matter who you talk to. The bread isn't cooked properly; it tastes like it came from a nursing home. It's as bad as the one at the Neuville roundabout.

07/03/2026: Lovers of Lyon's gastronomy, steer clear! This is clearly a tourist trap, which is very disappointing in a place like the Bocuse Market. The menu showcases the best of Lyon's cuisine, but the result on the plate is quite the opposite: Burgundy snails bought from a store, a bland, burnt sausage with Cantal cheese instead of a proper gratin. The dry, tasteless tripe dish resembled a failed stale Milanese escalope, not to mention the overcooked dauphinoise potatoes. The ravioli gratin with morels was incredibly salty, like licking a bouillon cube. Truly below what one would expect from a place with its potential. The service was pleasant, however the owner, after being informed of my comments, simply did not wish to speak with me...despite looking me straight in the eye...in short, a disgrace to Lyon and its heritage.

28/03/2026: I went to Quick with some friends this evening around 10 PM, on a Friday night when it clearly states closing time is midnight. At 11:02 PM, I placed another order at the open kiosk to bring my brother a meal on the way home. Imagine my surprise when a manager dressed in blue, who clearly eats in a school cafeteria, yelled at us because we had placed an order after 11 PM. She served us 15 minutes later, throwing our bag at us and shouting at us again. This is a 0/10 for service. If you no longer want to serve your customers, you close your kiosks, but you don't yell at them. It's unacceptable. Avoid this place for the sake of the staff.
