24/06/2026: We arrived at lunchtime at 7 a.m. without a reservation, and the staff greeted us with a smile and served us quickly. The owner was very accommodating and pleasant, and even apologized for taking a little too long to turn on the air conditioning (even though it wasn't 30 degrees Celsius in the dining room). In short, a pleasant, welcoming, and accommodating restaurant. I highly recommend it.

09/06/2026: We held our wedding reception this past Saturday, June 6th, at La Cantina. Everything was impeccable, from the cocktail hour to the dessert, including the main course. Our guests (53 people) were delighted; we received nothing but positive feedback. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the owner was full of helpful advice to ensure the evening ran smoothly. We highly recommend it!

01/06/2026: A huge thank you for this wonderful experience! We came about a month ago for my girlfriend's birthday, and we were absolutely delighted with the welcome and service. I had simply requested a small romantic upgrade for our room, without expecting anything in particular… and what a wonderful surprise it was when we arrived! The room was beautifully decorated with rose petals everywhere, lovely decorations on the towels, macarons, fruit juices, lots of little touches, and a personalized welcome note. All of this was offered free of charge, which touched us deeply. A huge thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, and all the thoughtful touches that made this moment even more special and unforgettable. The welcome was perfect, and everyone there was lovely. We will definitely be back!

03/05/2026: My review of this accommodation is based solely on the location and the room, as we neither ate at the restaurant nor had breakfast. The place itself is beautiful and exudes serenity. We returned from our evening out shortly after midnight (we had checked in beforehand), and we couldn't get in. We called reception, but it was closed, and the 24/7 emergency number didn't work either. Finally, we were able to enter the building through the back; the sliding doors worked without a card or code. The room is spacious, quite well laid out, and very clean, but the bed creaked loudly, and there was a very strong (almost nauseating) smell of sewage in the bathroom, especially in the morning. What a shame…

The one assigned to us doesn't have one, and according to reception, it's only in the superior rooms. Since we needed it for a medication issue, it was enough to know; and all means all. We're in a double room, for two; we've never had one small towel and one large towel. Let's move on to the bathroom fixtures: look at the photos. Conclusion: Stay away from this hotel and be wary of going there. I've attached photographic documentation of the above.

15/12/2025: Comptoir Cité enjoys an ideal location just steps from the Cité Internationale, making it convenient for lunch during a conference. The portions are decent, but the pulled pork in the Texas burger was a bit dry and harder to chew than one would expect from pulled pork. A practical choice, but with room for improvement in this regard.

02/07/2026: I enjoyed it; the food was good and the owner welcoming. The four stars are for the owner and the food! However, I'm shocked by "the owner's wife" (as she calls herself). We asked if it was possible to sit in the shade, and the owner set us up with a parasol (please note that this was for medical reasons). Anyway, the owner's wife then put the parasol (without asking or warning us) for other customers with a baby who had decided to sit in the sun on their own. The idea isn't bad, but the owner's wife's response was, "The baby has priority, you just have to move!" All this with aggression! I take my cutlery, my plate, and my water bottle and cross the terrace as if I own the place?! Her husband's sense of customer service is clearly lacking... Furthermore, when we pointed this out at the till, behind the bar she started shouting at us, telling us she'd offered us a table (to set up ourselves) and that it wouldn't change anything because "SHE'S THE BOSS'S WIFE." Talk about self-confidence!

17/01/2026: We arrived as a couple, and the waiter just looked at us without saying a word. Neither did we 😂 After ten seconds, I finally blurted out, "Can we eat?" He pointed to a table. We sat down, but the table was sticky. I gestured to him to ask if we could move, but no luck. So we took another table next door… also sticky. Anyway, I ordered. I chose a pig's stomach soup. Five minutes later, he brought me a large bowl of tripe soup, explaining that they were out of stomach. The soup was very good, piping hot, and very spicy—perfect for a 2°C (36°F) day. In short: terrible service, good food but ridiculously expensive, with a simple bowl of rice costing €4.
