11/12/2025: Once again disappointed by poor quality, tasteless, and waterlogged produce. Regardless of my choice, I end up paying over €10 for a bland salad. In this neighborhood, I'd recommend Jour Lafayette or Biocoop Brotteaux for much better salads.

22/02/2026: I'm going to talk about "Le Bistro," the fast-food version located just across the street from the restaurant, where they offer build-your-own salads and sandwiches. The concept is really nice and convenient for lunch. The ingredients are good quality. You can customize your baguette or salad however you like, at very reasonable prices. By choosing a set menu, you're guaranteed a good meal and enough to keep you full for the afternoon. One small drawback, though: since I mainly come for the sandwiches (I prefer them to pasta salads), they often run out of baguettes. It's probably a victim of its own success, but keeping a larger stock would be appreciated. Special mention goes to the sauces, which are really good and homemade—you can taste the difference. And the staff is very friendly, welcoming, attentive, and helpful. Overall, a very good experience. I recommend it if you want to eat cheaply, quickly, and in a generous portion!

04/02/2026: We came yesterday, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, and had a reservation for 12:00 PM. We usually come early in the morning for breakfast before our appointment with the esteemed Dr. Olivier Praline. I told him about our choice of having lunch at "Le Genève." His enthusiasm for this choice reassured us. We weren't disappointed; the service was quick, with suggestions that were always helpful and never pushy. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The prices are very reasonable, and the products are always high quality. If, like us, you wanted to eat without worrying about the price, it was excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Brasserie with a capital "B"—this is the perfect place. 18/03/2026: I ordered takeout on Wednesday evening, March 18, 2026: 9 veggie nuggets with potatoes and a cherry Coke. I noticed the smell was unusual and unpleasant. Upon opening the bag, I was unpleasantly surprised to find there were only 8 nuggets, and they weren't veggie... The person who prepared my order deliberately put in a bag of chicken nuggets (there's a large chicken silhouette on the packaging). As a vegetarian, this kind of mistake is unacceptable to me. How can they make such a mistake when it's clearly visible on the packaging?! I've noticed from reading the reviews that there are regular order preparation errors. At this point, it's not just mistakes; there are people on this restaurant's staff who are doing a poor job and/or are doing a sloppy job. Furthermore, the floor behind the counter where the restaurant staff work was covered in dropped fries, which the staff had to walk on while preparing and serving orders to customers. Therefore, I do not recommend the McDonald's in Genay.

14/03/2026: I just ordered a Big Tasty (order number 4566) for takeout this Saturday evening, March 14, 2026, with an extra two bacon slices and one white cheddar cheese. I get home, and there are no bacon slices or extra cheddar cheese, and I paid extra for all of that! Seriously, please learn to respect your orders. It's not complicated, and it avoids a very unhappy customer who has lost money. Have a good evening.

28/03/2026: We arrived the first time; there were four of us, and a table for three was available. No alternative arrangements could be made. We returned 30 minutes later. Two tables for two were available, but still no alternative arrangements could be made, and to top it off, one of the employees remarked, "You're not going to teach me how to do my job," always a pleasant surprise. We went to eat elsewhere. Bellota: good products, bad staff. What a shame.

01/03/2026: I was really disappointed by this experience. It was (very) expensive for octopus and empanadas, and we waited 45 minutes to be served after ordering (there was a problem in the kitchen). Our table was in the middle of the walkway and the queue. I do not recommend it.
