17/04/2026: Excellent spot for a quick lunch outside the station, between trains. Fast service (except for the duck), pleasant terrace, and very decent quality of the daily special. The only downside: the bread wasn't very fresh.

07/04/2026: I don't know about the food since they didn't even give me time to get to the counter and eat. This afternoon, before catching my train, I was hesitating between the kebab shop next door and this brasserie. I chose the brasserie… but I couldn't even get in. About twenty meters away, they told me there was no room for my stroller. Surprised, I turned around, thinking I'd gone down the wrong entrance. But no, my stroller fit perfectly, and there was plenty of room. Thinking I'd misunderstood, I went back to the counter. And then, the man started snorting when he saw me return. I simply asked why I was being refused entry. Were strollers not allowed in? I didn't really get a clear answer. He said he thought I was trying to get in, even though there was a wide aisle in front of me. I don't find that explanation logical. I even wondered why he was refusing me entry. Being Black, I couldn't help but wonder if that had played a role, even though I obviously have no proof. In any case, parents, be warned: bringing a stroller seems to be a problem here. The staff was unpleasant because I had a stroller. I've never felt so bad just for wanting to go somewhere to eat. All this for a €13 meal.

01/03/2026: That woman with the nose ring, who does she think she is? I wonder... she works at McDonald's and dares to look down on people... frankly, it's unacceptable... it's thanks to us that she has a salary.

14/04/2026: The hotel is a bit old and dated, but nonetheless adequately equipped. But the highlight of our stay was John, the night receptionist, who welcomed us warmly, was incredibly helpful, and is genuinely kind. A huge thank you to John, who was exemplary!

30/03/2026: Friendly and very responsive staff. The room was very outdated. The first room had no water in the toilet; after informing the receptionist, I was moved to a different room, which was also outdated: a light fixture was falling off, there was no light near the closet, and no heating in the bathroom. The large bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in dire need of a complete renovation.

25/06/2025: A small bistro just the way we like them. A great atmosphere with a regular clientele. The best ristretto in town. It's a shame that with the implementation of the new traffic zone, the terrace has to endure the onslaught of all the buses that now stop in front of it.

21/04/2025: Attendance at shops, restaurants and cafes is falling due to the work?... Concerning this cafe, we must look for another cause.

13/05/2026: He didn't even say hello when he arrived, he didn't understand a word of French and I got food poisoning... half-cooked fries but not only that... raw meat.

02/05/2026: Since the restaurant's ownership changed, everything has changed: the kebab, whether veal or chicken, is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are very kind and always smiling at the customers. The Star Kebab family is very friendly.

29/03/2026: I was called an idiot for asking if they had a toilet. I didn't have high expectations, though.

30/04/2026: Adequate for a city brasserie. It's a shame there's no children's menu. The quality of the wine by the glass could be better.

14/04/2026: Quick coffee! No time to soak in the atmosphere... which might be more than just a place to pass through... and the terrace beckons...

16/01/2026: The best sushi in Lyon. Everything is fresh daily and the service is super friendly. You leave with generous portions and a smile to boot 😁

12/12/2025: The salmon was too fatty. Indeed, the quality has plummeted while the prices remain high. I confirm the previous reviews. This was my last order!
