01/03/2026: We didn't eat because the kitchen is closed on Saturday at lunchtime, but the barmaid kindly welcomed us with our pizzas. A friendly welcome, quick service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

03/11/2025: The cigarette vendor was about as friendly as a prison guard. Actually, no, a prison guard is friendlier. Anyway, at least he had the reference number for my pack of cigarettes, something the prison guard certainly wouldn't have had (although they do get deliveries by drone now 🤔 we should ask Sarko how that works).

15/02/2026: We returned two years later and what a disappointment! The service was terrible; the waiter didn't know what dish he was bringing and got the order wrong. He was smiling, sure, but not very professional. The hamburger was frankly awful, avoid it. As for the mussels marinière, one wasn't very fresh...we won't be back.

19/12/2024: Waiters who flirt heavily with customers are no longer possible. Extremely poor quality beer for an excessive price, (meteor beer). The place pretends to be Pseudo punk but place run by dubious people, who think of making money without real value. I don't recommend it if you're looking for an alternative bar in Lyon.

13/12/2024: Very good value for money for a late dinner after a show, a stone's throw from the city hall metro station.

05/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was wonderful, the welcome was superb, and the waitresses were incredibly attentive. Even without a reservation, we always got a table for six or more. The portions were very generous, and the desserts were amazing! The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

18/02/2026: A very bad experience at Le Caveau. I'm very disappointed with the food, which used to be so good. The owner is grumpy, you get the feeling you're bothering him, he's not pleasant at all. Luckily, the waitresses do their best; they're smiling and attentive. Unfortunately, it's not enough to raise the standard, which has become quite mediocre. I won't be going back.

19/02/2026: We arrived at 9 PM, there was nobody there, we were served so fast I've never seen anything like it at McDonald's, thank you Lucas and the other McDonald's employee, so handsome

15/03/2026: Breakfast on the terrace: two croissants that were more than ordinary, perhaps even stale, and a raisin bread that was hardly more appetizing. What mediocrity for what is supposedly THE tea room, bakery, and pastry shop in Villeurbanne… a disgrace!

13/02/2026: I'm usually skeptical about ordering from a new snack bar, but this one was amazing! It was really good, the sandwiches and tacos were filled with tasty fillings, the hamburgers were delicious too, and the prices were super affordable! I highly recommend it!

24/03/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The dishes were barely lukewarm, even cold, which is completely unacceptable. The service was also lacking, and the overall experience was disappointing. From the quality of the food to the organization, nothing was right. I do not recommend it and I will not be returning.

15/03/2026: Disappointed, really disappointed. It's 8 PM, we came to eat the all-you-can-eat chicken tenders, and no, they're out! We only mentioned it at the register... This is the second time!!! And the product is listed as available on the website... The first time I didn't say anything, but this is inexcusable!!! I should point out that in the restaurant, the dish wasn't marked as sold out or a victim of its own success!!!

23/03/2026: Big Ranch is way too expensive! However, the staff are super friendly.

19/03/2026: At 9 PM, avoid this McDonald's at all costs: cockroaches inside, a rat running among the burgers, and a rude crow. The staff is insulting and they closed at 9:44 PM instead of 11 PM… Because, and I quote, they don't want to work.

27/01/2026: A very bad experience. Access to the restaurant is dangerous in the rain: the road is poorly maintained, water pools and creates large puddles that overflow onto the sidewalk, making the ground extremely slippery. As a result, my boyfriend's car broke down because of the water. A young waitress was very kind and professional in agreeing to help us, but unfortunately, the owner refused, showing no consideration for the situation. It's a shame that a lack of exterior maintenance and understanding completely ruins the experience. Customer safety should be a priority, especially in the rain.

25/01/2026: I went to the drive-thru at 7:17 PM. I ordered one Big Mac, one order of fries, and one Croque Monsieur. They forgot to add the Croque Monsieur to my order, so I was told I had to go back around the drive-thru to place another order! Not the first time I've been disappointed.

07/12/2025: Odd, I had a reservation for Sunday evening and when I arrived, it was closed. The neighbors told me this happens. I hope the owner is alright, otherwise it's strange not to have warned them... Moral of the story: call the day before if you're coming from far away.
