Beyond the waiting time of more than 45 minutes while the restaurant was almost empty for lunch. The kebab meat is affected despite the ton of spice to camouflage the rice and bulgur 🤮 Anyway, I paid the bill (2 kebab plates and 2 cans €38) and left straight away. 24/12/2023: Nice sushi and gyoza. We had to wait 40mins for the rice to be cooked though. But otherwise, place and toilet were clean, staff was friendly! Saw lots of takeout orders and phone calls, this place must be a local favorite!

06/08/2024: We came for lunch by chance at this address and it was a good thing: the service was efficient and very friendly. As for the cuisine, no fuss but very good quality with good products, well crafted, for a first-rate taste result. The quality to price ratio is excellent ! We'll probably come back, even if it's not the closest.

14/07/2024: We ate very well at Mayol. The dishes are copious but above all very careful. The prices are reasonable and we really appreciated the friendliness of the team as well as the setting. While passing by the highway, take the time to have a good meal, it's definitely worth it.

26/03/2024: Very bad experience, big disappointment! We came at 4: 2 daily specials (side of pork and pasta) and 2 fried entrecôtes. Disastrous dish of the day, the pasta was way overcooked! We informed the waitress who was not very pleasant. She still went to ask the cook reluctantly and without much motivation or conviction if it was possible to do it again and we were left with a “he doesn’t have time”! So we ate our dish of the day half, the pasta being inedible. We expressed our dissatisfaction when paying the bill and we clearly shouldn't be in a hurry! Waiters, cook and boss passed the buck… 20 minutes to get paid and find a solution! We ended up getting a small gesture from the boss (the price of pasta removed from our bill). In short, we will not come back and do not recommend the service or the cuisine of this establishment! Beyond the fact that we ate poorly and little, we wasted our time and did not have a good time in this establishment! To flee ! Much better addresses exist at the Croix Rousse!

21/08/2024: Do not rely on the exterior environment of the industrial zone because inside it is a real change of scenery with a nice setting, with a beautiful terrace, holiday atmosphere. The staff is pleasant, attentive and efficient. The dishes are simple but very good.

28/10/2023: J'ai découvert ce restaurant par hasard après m'être baladé un soir au lac à côté il y a un peu plus de 4 ans maintenant. Ensuite c'est devenu un rituel. Je faisais 2 heures aller-retour pour manger au Chicanos le samedi soir quand je pouvais ! C'est toujours un plaisir d'y venir, la cuisine est bonne, il y a pas mal de choix, même au niveau des salades, et le buffet le soir est souvent ravitaillé ! Les boissons sont top, la gérante nous propose toujours des super cocktails 👌 Que ce soit le midi ou le soir, je ressors à chaque fois content et plein 😂
