25/02/2026: Friendly owner, cozy and calm atmosphere, like a grandma and grandpa's house, "made in China." Plenty of dishes unless you have a big appetite. Prices are average for Étretat. Drawbacks: the lemongrass shavings in the dish (they're like wood and very hard to remove), good quality beef but no flavor, and undercooked rice. A shame, it didn't live up to the authenticity mentioned in other reviews. Fortunately, the place is quite charming and very well located. Finally, kudos to the charming owner for his kindness; he deserves the two stars.

24/02/2026: I was very disappointed by this restaurant. The beef chop suey was truly inedible. The portion was very small for 15 euros, and the taste seemed questionable, with a slightly off smell. It was difficult to swallow. After the meal, I felt very unwell (nausea and digestive problems). The stir-fried noodles with beef had practically no flavor, and the meat didn't seem fresh, with a strong smell of meat that had been stored for too long. Aside from the owner, a very kind and helpful elderly gentleman, and the proximity to Étretat, I unfortunately see no positive points. It had been a long time since I had eaten such bad Vietnamese food. Honestly, I absolutely don't understand the 4.6 rating.

22/02/2026: However, I won't be able to go back because it's difficult to access; the steps are too high. My 93-year-old father struggled, and I had to grab onto the parked car to catch myself on the way out.

And the taste was surprising—a burst of flavor with every bite, cooked to perfection! Truly, a huge congratulations to the chef; it was a great success. The staff was very competent and lovely. 03/03/2026: My wife and I wanted to have a nice drink to round off our evening. We arrived at 9:10 PM, and the restaurant was three-quarters full. Someone from the waitstaff approached us upon arrival, and we told them we'd come for a drink. They refused, as the restaurant would close at 9:30 PM. I seriously doubt they'd throw all those people out in 20 minutes, and we'd certainly finished our drinks in those 20 minutes and certainly wouldn't have stayed until the last one. Totally unfriendly customer service.

A great selection of board games, rule explanations from the staff if needed, a reasonably priced drinks menu, quality cocktails, homemade food designed for everyone (gluten-free bread options for platters and croque monsieur), all served in a friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

20/02/2026: First lunch at this well-regarded café-brasserie; I know this place and have stopped by for coffee from time to time. With the chef absent, the owner offered a simple set menu: a grilled steak with fries and ratatouille – simple but good, just like homemade. The staff was friendly and efficient, with little waiting between courses. We'll wait for the chef's return to try the full menu.
