18/01/2026: Manuela, I don't think it was salmon, it was smoked trout. There was a lot of it, and considering the price of salmon... it tastes way too salty immediately. More and more disappointed 😞

06/11/2024: The setting is beautiful..the waitress is very unpleasant.. we waited for The cards received a tempered glass AND our dishes served last on this service when we reported the wait the response "chicken is Long" for me It's just a skewer so it cooks for 10 minutes maximum...the meat is tasteless, the curry powder sauce is finally a big disappointment for us.

09/01/2026: I really enjoyed this restaurant. The cheese and charcuterie board was generous, featuring quality products, and the terrace setting is idyllic when the weather is sunny. The focaccia was also exquisite! I highly recommend it! I will definitely be back 😊

26/12/2025: Very nice ambiance and a very friendly host. The food was good, except for maybe the fries, which were too soggy for my liking. The brioche perdue was just finger licking good.

11/11/2025: Tourist trap. Tiny crepes and very expensive. I'm used to eating crepes elsewhere in other restaurants, and this is the first time in my life I've seen crepes this small. I'll never go back.

17/10/2025: A boss who usually jokes has forgotten what humor is..... unpleasant as hell when we told him, I repeat, with and with humor: no andouillettes on the menu.... we were rebuffed because he is the boss and he decides the à la carte menu. You have to relax, Sir, and differentiate between aggression and humor. Same when we asked for the side dish with the main course: here it's fries and nothing else... well the fries were average. When it came to the bill, we wanted to share, but the gentleman responded aggressively: it's too late, you should have said it first.... all that with love. No goodbye, nothing.... even the boss saw his behavior and was embarrassed for us. Too bad, the previous times were warmer... and there won't be a next time. Being friendly with your regular customers is good, but you mustn't forget the others if you want to keep your reputation. Have a good vacation, Sir, you need it

Meal arrived with more than an hour of waiting, menu offered but nothing in stock, no other choice than a lamb chop with fries, meat not cooked properly, catastrophic presentation, outdated and deplorable service, really a sandwich from a bakery would have been much more appreciated,... I don't understand the good comments that have been received.

24/10/2025: Attempted scam/deception: Under the pretext that they were 10-year-old children at the time of payment, the price announced for 3 kebabs was €48. Once inside the establishment, they called it a "joke" and said that it was better to "count"! Actual price: €24 for an adult, but €48 for a child/naive person. Outrageous method.

06/12/2025: After booking a month in advance and confirming with a 30% deposit, the sheepfold in Rouxmesnil-Bouteille, without giving any reason, cancelled our reservation less than two weeks before the scheduled date. This left us in a very difficult situation. It's a lack of professionalism, unworthy of a company that doesn't honor its commitments.

10/11/2025: The Chinese food was so delicious that even a Korean would find it delicious. The owners were also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place to Koreans, too.

08/12/2025: Very disappointed by this restaurant. The seafood sauerkraut...filled with crème fraîche: yuck...I've never seen anything like it!! Seafood sauerkraut is simply cooked in white wine (at least they could mention that). The mussels were bad, the cod was frozen, the salmon was undercooked...and then there was the dessert. A chocolate Liégeois with a scoop of vanilla ice cream inside...again, I've never seen that, and I don't like vanilla. A chocolate Liégeois is all chocolate, which wasn't mentioned either. The waitress was unpleasant. They send you the bill even though you haven't asked for it yet, which is unacceptable. In short...avoid at all costs.

24/06/2025: What a nice place this is. Had a lovely lunch here on the small terrace. Inside it also looks very cosy with lots of local artwork on the wall.

11/06/2025: A small restaurant with colorful decor, without any lack of taste. The dishes are very good and very well presented. An ideal location, close to the attractions of the small village. BUT: after booking... upon my arrival... I received a cold welcome from the manager... her son, who comes from the same background and works in the dining room, is just as friendly. The wait is interminable at every stage, and more than once we were simply... ignored. Salt and pepper seem to be very expensive in this region, because to get them I had to get up twice, as the first request must not have been clear enough. A young waiter, quite proud of his appearance, constantly ran his hand through his hair... between two plates. No appetizer was offered; bread is rationed. The tables around us who arrived after us were all served before us. I had to ask for dessert. Even to pay, I had to be willing! These people don't deserve to run such a peaceful and charming little restaurant. A place I only recommend half-heartedly if you're capable of laughing at such behavior... I admit that two or three times I would have really enjoyed getting up and leaving, telling them the truth! In short, you get the idea if you're the type to dive into your plate and shut yourself off from the world while eating lunch... or want to laugh at a textbook example of good hospitality... go for it. Otherwise, move on, despite the good food. I hope they'll one day make an effort just to live up to the setting... in the meantime, we'll have a delicious picnic on the cliffs facing the jade-colored sea!
