20/01/2026: We had lunch at the Regent; the children had the burgers and the adults had the daily special. Everything was good and we enjoyed it. The price was reasonable, and the service was friendly.

30/12/2025: Superb brasserie, welcoming, with smiles all around 👍 Mulled wine, cappuccino, and crêpe for €14.40. Fair price. We were upstairs overlooking the street. The peace and quiet was wonderful. I highly recommend it. Best of luck to the team.

17/01/2026: Every time we come back, it's with pleasure. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is excellent, the decor is evocative, and the jukebox is a bonus (the music isn't bothersome because it's not loud and is in good taste). We always have a lovely time. Don't change a thing. 😉

20/01/2026: This is one of Rouen's best places to eat Italian Pizza, homemade. At reasonable prices (pizzas as well as beverages). The server was of a natural kindness and extremely helpful. In summer, you can even eat outside. You can also order for home delivery, eat in or take away. The server told me, that customers can also order by phone their pizza for eating in for a certain hour and when they arrive, everything is ready (for people who are in a hurry). I recommend this pizza restaurant!

The lady who prepared our order was very kind and pleasant, explaining to me what was included and what wasn't in the deal. 02/12/2025: Back at Les Capucines for a superb end-of-year dinner, which included a new discovery for me: duck à la rouennaise. I had hesitated for a long time about this dish because I'm not a fan of game. I had already tasted the sauce, but never the duck itself... And I must say I slightly regret having waited so long to discover this regional specialty, which is showcased by Chef Thierry, his faithful Elodie (both master duck cooks—and the only female master duck cook in France, by the way), his entire team (including an extraordinary pastry chef), and his very professional front-of-house staff.
