27/05/2026: We booked by phone for May 23, 2026. The person wasn't particularly pleasant, but oh well... Arriving at 11:45 AM, we had an unforgettable experience. A man greeted us wearing a stained t-shirt with his fly open—appalling! It was impossible to ask any questions without him responding arrogantly. Towels were drying, spread out on the veranda tables... a bad smell pervaded the place. We quickly turned around and left, fortunately receiving excellent service at the Campanil next door. We called to cancel the reservation, and this same man again spoke rudely to us and hung up on us. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Following the response you dared to write, making me out to be a liar, I can add that you spoke rudely to me three times because my questions made you uncomfortable. You were in the back of a car with groceries in the trunk and children parked behind the hotel, not gardening. Your t-shirt was perfectly upright. Let's wait for the next reviews! STOP LYING, YOU WERE AWFUL!

09/05/2026: Beautifully decorated to immerse yourself in Lebanese culture. The welcome is very warm. The cuisine is typical of Lebanon; some flavors might surprise you, but that's precisely the point when you go to a restaurant serving unfamiliar cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant, a welcome escape from the tourist traps of the port of Dieppe.

15/05/2026: Honestly, I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. Fast service. Friendly and attentive staff. I'll definitely be back! (They even gave me a free plate of fries!!!)

09/06/2026: Chef Mauduit will introduce you to unexpected flavors, followed in the afternoon by a visit to the abbey grounds and a lesson on edible plants and flowers of our region. Not to mention the guided tour of the abbey led by a very friendly and passionate guide. An experience not to be missed.

22/05/2026: The service was very pleasant, a young, smiling, and friendly woman. However, the restaurant itself did not live up to our expectations. The dishes were very simple, the meat was overcooked even though we had asked for it rare. The strawberry dessert was bland and uninspired. All three of us were disappointed.

29/04/2026: I love this place; you can't go in without buying loads of books. They organize meetings with authors, and that's great.

19/05/2026: The music was off half the time. The food was mediocre. Angus usually speaks for itself, but it was just a small steak. The sauce was dry. I didn't dare eat the vegetables. The fries were quite tasty! 1 person friendly, 1 person unfriendly! I am a Belgian person, so that might be influenced by others. The wine was good!!!

19/05/2026: A difficult reception with not much enthusiasm or welcome. The food wasn't great, but that was probably because we weren't French, even though it was an American bar. Small portions and the Angus beef was really mediocre. The ribs were okay but not amazing and there wasn't much meat. Little atmosphere and the music was often turned off. I should mention that it was Tuesday and there were hardly any people there, but that shouldn't mean anything. Definitely never going back, which is a shame because it could be a nice place.
