29/08/2024: My first discovery of Lebanese cuisine was very nice. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. I took the BAALBEK lunch menu, a variable formula with a reasonable price. Frankly, the rice, the two skewers and the salad were simple, but the hummus and the Muhallebi, what nice surprises! For regulars, these are classic dishes, but for me, who was discovering these flavors for the first time, it was truly a great experience. 27/01/2025: Disappointed by the level of service which is far from being up to the standard of a Gault Millau. Barely served aperitif when our starters are already brought to us. We swallowed our aperitifs at a run. Our hot starters were cold (snails). Tournedos rossini and bone-in-bone tournedos with required medium-rare cooking. We had to transfer our meats between the two people, the cooking was reversed. That said, the meats were good. The cheese platter made us want it when we saw it pass by. Once near us it was very different. Pre-cut pieces of cheese, only very advanced cheeses, very made. There is something for everyone. Calvados Camembert not normal Neufchâtel Camembert hyper brown gorgonzola spread on the board. Finally our table was placed in front of the linen room, we were constantly disturbed by the staff who left the door open with a view of the piles of laundry thrown on the floor. We were hoping for that, the place is pretty, there is potential, but the catering and service are not up to par.

14/09/2024: Très bon accueil de la part de l’équipe qui est à l’écoute. Le service est rapide, les serveurs sont très aimables. Un petit bémol pour le fish and chips. La chapelure n’était pas très bonne, un peu molle et un peu grasse. Les frites ne sont pas faites maison, on sent qu’elle ne sont pas au top de leur forme. Il y a aussi, je pense, un petit problème d’organisation à noter, au vu des quelques erreurs de prise de commande de notre table, ainsi que les tables voisines. Toutefois, le cadre est super sympa, la rivière qui coule juste à côté de notre table, les deux fontaines au centre de la salle. Je reviendrai sûrement, dans l’espoir d’avoir une meilleure expérience.

11/09/2024: An Afghan delicatessen shop. I won’t overstate how good the food is here, to the point of making a special trip there to have a meal. However, there is no doubt that the taste of the food in this restaurant is able to make us feel relaxed and reserved after a busy day. Especially considering the kind and gracious attitude of the boss. The price of dine-in may be a little higher, but takeout is more cost-effective. In addition, I recommend staple dishes more than desserts.
