30/06/2026: I'm giving one star because a lower rating isn't possible. The delivery service is appalling. I ordered a pizza for delivery and provided a phone number to facilitate communication and ensure delivery to the correct address. The delivery driver never arrived. When I called the pizzeria for an explanation, the manager was extremely unpleasant. The driver had called the wrong number and couldn't find the address, and the manager blamed us for the pizza being prepared "for nothing." He was unpleasant throughout the entire call, nonchalant, and offered not a single apology or courtesy. However, with all due respect, I can say with certainty that they have lost a customer and I will never use their services again. I advise others to do the same. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

27/05/2026: Great bar in a prime location in old Rouen, near the antique shops. Plenty of snacks to enjoy with your drink, and the staff are very attentive. The terrace is lovely with a view of Saint Maclou Church. I highly recommend it for a relaxing time with friends ❤️

19/05/2026: A difficult reception with not much enthusiasm or welcome. The food wasn't great, but that was probably because we weren't French, even though it was an American bar. Small portions and the Angus beef was really mediocre. The ribs were okay but not amazing and there wasn't much meat. Little atmosphere and the music was often turned off. I should mention that it was Tuesday and there were hardly any people there, but that shouldn't mean anything. Definitely never going back, which is a shame because it could be a nice place.

19/05/2026: The music was off half the time. The food was mediocre. Angus usually speaks for itself, but it was just a small steak. The sauce was dry. I didn't dare eat the vegetables. The fries were quite tasty! 1 person friendly, 1 person unfriendly! I am a Belgian person, so that might be influenced by others. The wine was good!!!

14/06/2026: The place is very nice with its veranda, indoor dining area, and small garden; you can eat there if the weather is good. The crepes are good, and the gourmet coffee is excellent. However, the wait was far too long: almost an hour for the first crepe and over 30 minutes for dessert.

You feel expected, and the team helps create a friendly atmosphere that makes you want to return. A special mention goes to the chef, who is as charming as he is talented. Always smiling, humble, and passionate, he demonstrates great technical skill and a genuine respect for the ingredients. His expertise shines through in each of his creations, executed with precision and consistency. On the plate, the freshness of the ingredients is immediately apparent. The fish is of excellent quality, the cuts are precise, and each preparation perfectly highlights the flavors. The mastery is unwavering, never succumbing to trends: here, the product is at the heart of the experience. After all these years, the pleasure remains undiminished. This consistency, both in the quality of the cuisine and the service, is rare enough to be worth highlighting. Hokkaido is a true gem in Rouen, an establishment that remains true to itself and where one always returns with the same pleasure. Remember to book on Friday and Saturday evenings.

17/07/2026: The only slight criticism I could make, especially for those unfamiliar with the region, is this: To point out and describe some unusual places: the Veolia waste treatment center in Rouen, nicknamed "the boat" because of its three ocean liner-style chimneys, the Flaubert Pavilion, the Napoleon Column, and the arrival point at La Bouille. Thank you.
