12/07/2026: Hotel in Franqueville, outdated, no ventilation or air conditioning, noisy on the road side! Absolutely avoid it during the summer or heatwave!! Worst hotel night I've ever experienced! Unpleasant staff when returning the key card after we pointed out the lack of ventilation and the stifling temperature in the room! We pay for a service, whatever it may be! Friendliness is part of that... Campanile is not what it used to be 😡 Definitely blacklist it

08/07/2026: Disappointed... The food was really bad. We started with the appetizer: a wilted and poorly washed salad. An insect had found its way into the potato salad. My partner's terrine tasted like it had been in the fridge. The waitress changed our plates as a result. On to the main course... The poultry was barely cooked, even pink in places; I couldn't eat it. Besides, the flavor was lacking; I found it bland. 😏 The fries and ice cream were good. In short, €40 for two people seemed expensive. Plus, I went home with a terrible stomach ache. We won't be repeating the experience.

02/07/2026: Bad experience. The daily special was a bit underwhelming, as you could say, because a small piece of meat arrived on the plate with the bone still attached—well, two tiny pieces in the mouth. Then, half a bottle of rosé for two, and luckily there were lines on the glass because the second glass served only contained 5 cl. We told the waitress, but received no response to our complaint. Meanwhile, paying €15.90 for the daily special and getting what I got on my plate... No thanks. We won't be back! And for your information, my partner ordered a calzone and was sick from 5 pm onwards.

15/12/2025: As regulars, and returning to this chain because it's a guarantee of quality... well, this is the second time we've been disappointed, and not just a little. The quality of the burger meat is disappointing; the meat used to be flavorful, but this time it tasted like it came straight from the freezer. The side dishes (sauces) are the same quality as McDonald's, and the fries are a disgrace—greasy, dark brown, and they stink. Oh well, there are three of us, and we won't be going back, and I wouldn't recommend it. In short: an "El Gringo Beef" and a vegan Milanese as a meal, the princely sum of 29 euros. My husband and I couldn't stomach it, and we threw the fries straight in the bin... a disgrace for that price!

31/12/2025: Second visit in August 2025: Very unpleasant welcome - the drinks served were not those ordered and, moreover, were expired. They were replaced with others that were just as expired. The food was served cold - no apologies or gesture of goodwill. The pizza machine nearby is much better, and if the snack bar at the campsite next door is open, don't hesitate to go there; it's perfect.

25/05/2026: What a shame! It's disappointing to still find this level of quality in a tourist area. The mussels marinière are cooked with garlic, without onion or celery. The €2 coffee comes from a Senseo machine... In short, I was very disappointed with this experience. The staff's friendliness can't make up for everything!

24/05/2026: I'm not a picky eater, but everything is frozen. I ordered a rare hamburger, and it was well-done. The fries were frozen too. There were very few people there, yet I waited 40 minutes. The smell was overwhelming. Some customers wanted to come in, but they left immediately, holding their noses. There were peas on the toilet seats. In short, I don't recommend it.

31/07/2026: Nice. Not haute cuisine, but good. However, I always stick to grilled food; it's a sure thing. The all-you-can-eat vegetables are great, and you can eat cheaply if you don't order a starter or dessert.

08/07/2026: Forget the old reviews: the establishment has changed hands! Two passionate young entrepreneurs are now at the helm and deserve to be judged on their work. A promising start that looks very promising. Best of luck to them!

02/05/2026: A terrible experience. I arrived after 7 pm and was greeted by a manager who was half-drunk, along with other inebriated regulars with menacing looks. Room 9 was a 1960s-era maid's room that reeked of stale ashtrays. The sliding curtain was broken and wouldn't close completely. The tap was broken. But the worst part was the awful, incredibly uncomfortable, rock-hard bedding—you wouldn't even find it in a prison cell! It was like sleeping on a plank of wood. As for the service... No greeting or thank you at reception or at breakfast. I even had to ask for my change after paying. Even at a low price, this kind of room shouldn't be rented, especially if the owner is unfriendly and incompetent. Avoid at all costs.

09/11/2025: Extremely disappointed with this restaurant, avoid it at all costs. We were a table of eight and came for mussels and fries. We were only informed after our aperitifs that they were out of mussels and shrimp. This can happen, but it should be indicated on the menu at the entrance or at least told us directly. The same thing happened with dessert. We were told there was only one crème brûlée and one tiramisu left… It's a bit much. I ate salami with burnt ratatouille. At the end, when the bill arrived, I asked for a discount or some kind of compensation… The waitress wouldn't hear of it and stood her ground. In short, avoid this place.
