09/06/2025: A lovely establishment, charming, with good quality products prepared with love and impeccable service. Bresse/Jura menu without cheese for €40. Overall, the price seemed justified. A very good appetizer with foie gras appetizers, vegetable verrine, and cheese mousse was very good. For the appetizer, it was an asparagus velouté with prawn pieces and pistachio oil; it was delicious, fresh, and easy to eat. The starter was also delicious: a bowl of snails with morels and a yellow wine cream. It was well prepared and very satisfying to eat for its textures. The Bresse chicken in cream sauce was the main course, very well cooked, just on the bone. Very good vegetables and a little mashed potatoes. The ice cream for dessert was good, but I didn't understand it and wasn't really keen on the rhubarb and red berry casserole. The rhubarb compote is good, and it works well with the fresh seasonal strawberries. But the assortment of blackberries and blueberries is uninteresting. Since it's not the season, these fruits simply have no flavor. Also, real sourdough bread would be much better than frozen. As the waitress pointed out, the trickle of water from the faucet isn't practical for washing your hands properly. Also, the €9.50 orange juice is a pain...
