21/11/2024: Excellent, belle présentation des plats avec beaucoup d'originalités, service parfait, personnels agréables, propreté, ambiance chaleureuse. Merci pour ce bon moment.

16/11/2024: Une super expérience depuis le temps que j'en avais entendu parlé, enfin j'ai testé et adoré ! Des portions généreuses dans tous les plats, même les entrées.... petit conseil : n'hésitez pas à goûter la planche avec viande de cerf sur pierre chaude, elle est exquise.....et le gratin juste divin.... sans oublier le tartare en entrée....bravo chef ! Ne passez pas à côté des desserts.... mais je ne peux pas vous recommander un en particulier tellement le choix est varié et attrayant ... énormes coupes glacées, crème brûlée excellente, soufflé glacé et son coulis myrtilles juste sublime.... En apéro, la coupe châtaigne est originale et la bugey plus classique, toutes les deux vous mettent en appétit ....à tester absolument et sans attendre mais n'oubliez pas de réserver à l'avance ! Pour info, la resa sur internet fonctionne très bien, très pratique surtout à n'importe quel moment. A savoir que la salle peut recevoir presque 80 couverts par service mais les serveuses sont sympas, rapides et efficaces, ça fait plaisir 😁 Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce bon moment gustatif 😋 on reviendra tester la fondue car il paraît qu'elle en fait fondre plus d'un.... Si vous êtes 4, vous pouvez réserver une des 2 tables rondes en forme de tonneau, très originale !

02/08/2024: Today August 2 with a friend, our meal was excellent. The people who served us were very cheerful and pleasant. We had a free glass of champagne because soon they will be hosting in another area.. I live in Lyon but I will come back with pleasure.

30/09/2024: Warm place with great service and advice! However, the vegetarian burger was a little dry, the vegetable steak is good but it lacks a sauce and a little cheese for more indulgence The traditional dishes are excellent.

29/09/2024: We had a great time as a family. Small downside on the very fast service but largely compensated by the smile of the waiters and the quality of the cuisine! :) Do it again!

09/09/2024: Ce n'es pas la première fois que je mange à l'ancienne auberge mais ce dimanche quelle déception. Mon épouse et sa sœur ont pris en plat un gâteau de foies de volaille, Désolé mais ce n'était pas très bon voir pire. Quel est ce goût, peut-être de la nouvelle cuisine, il faut vite revenir en arrière. Mais ce n'est pas tout. J'ai pris une tranche de foie gras en entrée, tranche très fine et je dois dire parfaitement insipide. Je ne parle pas du poulet à la crème, mais que dire du service, quenelle et riz pilaf pour ma belle mère service sans riz, et quand nous en faisons part au serveur, le réponse magnifique est de dire vous n'aviez qu'à demander. Il va de soi que c'est au client à allez en cuisine chercher son plat. C'est bien la première fois que je poste un message négatif mais pour avoir manger chez blanc le grand place Bernard au saint Laurent et ceci plusieurs fois et y avoir toujours très très bien mangé et y avoir toujours été bien reçu la déception est grande. Enfin je ne pense pas retourner à la vieille auberge mais sûrement dans les autres établissements. Monsieur georges blanc , merci toutefois pour tout ce que vous apporté à notre département

24/12/2024: A slightly disappointing 3* dinner, let me explain... As a preamble, I never give an opinion on this type of restaurant as the design of the menus, flavors and textures is complex and the rendering is unique to each person, but here I think it deserves that I take up my pen... Aperitif: my partner orders a fruity wine, we bring her a Jurançon closer to muscat than the chamber of love mentioned to the sommelier, we don't offer her to taste it beforehand, and no alternative offer... and this will be the case throughout the meal as part of a food and wine pairing for 250 euros... I don't find this worthy of a three-star hotel which has the most beautiful wine list in France... The meal itself: beautiful presentations, however I find that the taste of the main element announced (pigeon or crab for example) is lost in a mixture of flavors and textures that is too complex if we add to that a wine that I haven't always found suited to the food, it's a bit disappointing. In terms of the different dishes: a vegetable roll with obviously a salt error (I tasted my partner's being surprised by the way too salty taste of mine, there was clearly a cooking bug), the error is- Is it excusable in a 3* with a menu at 380 euros...? That's another debate... To end up disappointed with the last dish, the venison and the mash that accompanied it were grainy and not pleasant on the tongue. In a food and wine pairing, cheese (an institution in France) should be brought automatically... this is not the case and offered half-heartedly... ("would you like to complete your meal". .. kesako ???) The predesserts and desserts are on the other hand plentiful, for my part I am not a sweet tooth, so I would have preferred a little more extensive dishes to finish with a more subtle sweet touch, even with the help of my partner we did not have not finished the desserts which we ended up finding disgusting, but it's only a question of taste... Special mention to the baker with exceptionally good bread!

26/01/2025: We regularly eat pancakes on Sundays. This week we wanted to test the lunch formula. Everything was very generous, we each had a salad, then dessert For my husband hot goat cheese and crepe with spread. For me salmon and waffle with spread. So I'm going back this week with some friends to introduce them to this great and charming place.

22/09/2024: First visit to this establishment which had been so praised to us. A very nice discovery, both for the kindness of the young waiter, the setting and its cozy atmosphere and the deliciousness of this astonishing and delicious cuisine! Just a very small downside which has already been mentioned in other reviews, the price... Well, the quality of the products and the originality of the dishes can justify this but I know of other restaurants in the region in which we eat just as good without having such a busy slate. No problem, I think we'll come back!

Au top formule tout compris Laurent le chef , nous a régalé les papilles avec l option Rotisserie et ses gâteaux maison délicieux ! Et l équipe en services s est super bien occupée de nous

24/09/2024: If the facade doesn't look like much, don't hesitate to book. The small room filled up in the blink of an eye. And for good reason… a warm, friendly welcome. A fairly simple menu, a sign of 'home' cooking. And, when the dishes arrive, we can only see the quality of the products and the enthusiasm of the chef to satisfy the guests. Little advice: don't snack before going, you risk callous before the end of the meal. For us, meals alone, à la carte. • 2 goldfinches • 1 Caesar salad • 1 andouillette • 1 raspberry bush • 1 fruit salad On the bill; 61.00 euros Excellent value for money.

11/09/2024: A stop in Bourg en Bresse, we trusted the reviews and went to Nadine's table. Excellent value for money. Excellent starter, main course and dessert and what can we say about the welcome...top notch Don't hesitate if you are in the area, you cannot be disappointed.
