07/09/2026: Excellent board game bar where I was able to unwind after my first year of medical school. A massive and varied selection of games compared to other board game bars I've visited. The prices are very reasonable, even low considering the number of games offered. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help, especially Owen, whom I saw quite a bit and who shared his favorite games with me. The platters and sandwiches are very good and contain high-quality ingredients; a special mention goes to the smoked ham. The spread platter offers delicious flavors like bell pepper and artichoke cream. That said, it can sometimes be a bit noisy, depending on the other patrons, which can make understanding some games difficult. In short, a very good board game bar that stands out thanks to its location in a good area of ​​Paris, its high-quality food, and its enormous selection of games, all served by very helpful and passionate staff.

20/08/2026: We came as a group, and one of us was vegetarian. We'd seen the menu beforehand and knew that all the dishes included meat or fish, but we'd mentioned when we made the reservation if they could provide something. When we arrived, she was only given the option of a side dish of vegetables (but it was a generous portion): nothing special, but it was fine, and the gratin was good. However, the really disappointing thing was that with the appetizers, there was a salad bowl with tomato and bacon bits for the table, and when the waiter brought it over, he jokingly said, "The young lady won't be able to have any because it has bacon bits in it!"... Seriously, would it have been so difficult to bring her a bowl of salad without the bacon bits? Anyway, she took some from the shared bowl, picking out the bacon bits, but it was really unprofessional, like they didn't want to make even the slightest effort for her and they were letting her know it. Message received, even though I am not a vegetarian myself I will not set foot in that place again.

11/09/2026: I went there 10 years ago, so I assume the owner must have changed, right? The name was exactly the same, so I went hoping for something better, but as expected, I was very disappointed. The Guobaorou was great because it was super crispy, but it was a shame that there wasn't enough sauce.

11/09/2026: It's so delicious! The food takes a little while to come out, but...! The fried items are super hot and crispy, making up for it. The Mala Xiang Guo is salty, so it goes really well with the scallion pancakes, and it makes you want to drink a ton of beer.

To begin, I had an octopus salad, perfectly seasoned, followed by a perfectly cooked cod heart—a delightful discovery. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the ribeye steak with its extraordinary sauce. 30/07/2026: While on holiday for two weeks in the Jura Mountains, we stopped by Les Cocottes Gessiennes on Thursday evening. What a delight for the taste buds! The perfect egg with morels was succulent, the carpaccio with heirloom tomatoes and lemon-basil sorbet was a treat. The duck was superb, and the beef steak with morels melted in your mouth—excellent. The dessert was superb. Impeccable service, a friendly, smiling waiter with a kind word. Don't miss this Norman restaurant; it's well worth the stop. Mr. and Mrs. Hue.
