05/08/2026: Ideally located in the heart of Rennes-les-Bains, we had a very pleasant stay. Evelyne takes excellent care of her guests. The rooms are very comfortable and cool (despite the heat). Everything is provided: king-size bed, bathroom, toilet, television, complimentary drinks... Breakfast is served in the beautiful garden with fresh, seasonal produce, and there's also a restaurant where the food is excellent. In short, I highly recommend this place.

08/07/2026: I won't talk about the restaurant or their food here, since the place was full. No, I want to share an unpleasant experience I had in the sun lounger area of ​​this place... well, sun loungers, more like seats from another world... with no real shade, since they were covered by a canvas that let in every ray of sunlight. On a day like Sunday, July 5th, when it was nearly 40°C everywhere, a little shade would have been welcome. The sun loungers were dirty and old. We wanted to get drinks, but we had to go get them ourselves from the bar; no one came to ask if we needed anything. A mint tea with tap water cost €4 and was served at room temperature... not a single ice cube! A pretty poor service... and you have to bring your own drinks to your lounger... unbelievable! I've never seen anything like it. The €30 I paid for the sun loungers (pocketed quickly without a ticket 😁) was only for one hour, as it was impossible to stay longer due to the poor quality. Have a great season! 👋 🫣

16/07/2026: The place was nice and the waiters were friendly until I went to pay and they tried to rip me off. They gave me a rough estimate of what I owed, and since it seemed excessive, I asked for the bill, but it only showed the total amount. When I told them I wanted a breakdown and showed them the price list in front of me, it was 10 euros less. They apologized, saying it was someone else's bill. Maybe that's why they were so nice at first.

The peace and quiet are truly wonderful—no noise at all, allowing for complete relaxation. The location is ideal: just a 30-minute walk from the village of Gruissan, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The sea view from the restaurant is a real bonus! Free parking is available, which is very convenient. I highly recommend it; we will gladly return!

09/07/2026: We should not have rented a car. The hotel provides shuttle service not only to Narbonne but also to the beaches from the hotel. It’s about a 15 minute ride for either location so why bother to get a Avis Rent-A-Car at the TGV train station.?

05/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. The food served was of very poor quality, and honestly, I don't understand how anyone can serve such dishes without being ashamed. I've already tried posting several reviews, but they've all been rejected because of my language. Yet, faced with such a travesty, it's difficult to find words adequate to describe what I experienced. This is unacceptable for an establishment that serves the public. A health inspection seems entirely justified. In my opinion, it's much better to spend your money in a proper restaurant where quality and respect for the customer are guaranteed. For my part, I strongly advise against this establishment.

31/07/2026: The cassoulet was mediocre, barely cooked. Luckily, the portion was small for €25… 😞 The duck legs were clearly undercooked. When we pointed this out, the staff's response was, to say the least, surprising: "We don't understand, the duck legs arrive in a box and are normally already cooked." A perplexing response that obviously didn't solve the problem. The pasta carbonara was like something you'd get in a school cafeteria: no salt, with a heavy cream that was far too mild and completely lacking in flavor. The worst part was the service: plates were cleared away as soon as everyone had finished eating. The staff did the bare minimum, not saying a word more than necessary to take the order. In the end, a huge disappointment. The quality is absolutely not up to the price. At €25 for a cassoulet, you have the right to expect a properly prepared dish and much more professional service.

30/07/2026: This restaurant doesn't have a set menu, only à la carte options. The dishes are quite expensive for what they are. For example, a chocolate fondant is €9 or tomato and mozzarella salad is €15.
