04/05/2026: Hello, As a newcomer to the area, I decided to stop for a meal at Le Central. (2020) On the terrace overlooking the Aude River, shaded by parasols, the setting is pleasant, the service is quick, and the food is very well presented. The dishes are generous and delicious. It's a place suitable for both families and those just passing through. The prices are reasonable. Don't hesitate. I returned two weeks later. The Camembert was perfectly cooked, everything was fantastic, a truly generous plate, nothing to say except perfect. Thank you to the chefs. Note: Change of ownership, update... (2026) Nothing to do with the previous restaurant...

24/02/2026: Was very busy later and we understood a wait was in order,but it was worth the visit .. excellent food

19/04/2026: We ate at this establishment today; the welcome was friendly, the service efficient, and the meat delicious, well-cooked, and very tender. You can go there without hesitation.

18/04/2026: Appalling service, neglected welcome, completely disinterested staff who only care about finishing their shift. The food is school cafeteria quality, thanks METRO!! A tourist trap to avoid, unless you enjoy watching waiters sitting on chairs watching you finish your plate while they continue their conversation about the interminable service (at 9 pm on a Saturday night, mind you). You won't be seeing us again, and being from here, you can count on us to spread the word about your deplorable welcome and service.

07/05/2026: I've known this place since I was little, the owner and his wife are very, very nice, and the quality is very good.

04/04/2026: One of the best snack bars in the area, and at unbeatable prices! Hygiene, service, friendliness—everything is top-notch. You can go there without hesitation.

31/03/2026: I came to try this restaurant for lunch on the terrace, ideally located on Place Carnot. I ordered the set menu: a very good meal overall. However, there was a slight issue with dessert: of the several options advertised, only one was available. Not wanting dessert, I asked for an espresso, but no alternative was offered. The price remained the same, which is a bit of a shame. Overall, a good experience in terms of food, but the service needs improvement.

02/05/2026: It was not open at 9:46 PM on 2/05/26, even though the hours indicated were the opposite, so call before going there.

30/01/2026: Having just bought a pizza this evening at 7pm, I took the last one left... a disaster! The dough was like chewed cardboard, impossible to swallow, straight to the bin!! I won't be going back anytime soon... (luckily there's a puff pastry shop nearby!!!)

20/01/2026: Nothing beats a good little bakery compared to an industrial chain.

10/05/2026: A pleasant little inn with delicious food. The waitresses are very attentive to the customers. The background music is very discreet.

08/05/2026: Very disappointing. The €20 menu is a tourist trap... the rabbit terrine is actually a jelly of...? The ribeye steak was full of sinew and fat... the onion gratin wasn't gratin at all, the onions were just boiled.

26/04/2026: The mussels weren't very fresh, and when you go to pay the restaurant, the bill is rounded up because it's easier to divide.

05/04/2026: The service was far too slow, and yet it wasn't very busy. The desserts on the menu weren't available. I won't be going back.

07/07/2025: Since it changed ownership, I've been there 3 times and I've been refused entry for no apparent reason... Come down from your pedestal, your club is a cellar, with a clientele of ksos AND the bouncers are buffoons who think they're something they're not... It's unfortunate to have come to this!!!

05/07/2025: Having been there 2 years ago, I think it's better today, and it's strange to see the change, but honestly it's a very good establishment I recommend when you don't have much to do with your evening... 👍
