27/09/2026: I've been a customer for a few years now. The service is fantastic, and the owner is so kind—if only everyone could be like him! The pizzas are excellent, with a wide variety of choices. Personally, I think they're the best in town.

The site is vast and stunning, the facilities are top-notch, and the staff are kind and attentive. 27/05/2026: This campsite lives up to its name, "The End of the World." Overall, we really enjoyed it for a long weekend, especially as a family with children. It has a rural style, and its farm, lake, and terrace are definitely its strong points. I'd highlight that it's a great campsite if you want to be surrounded by nature, and I also find it perfect because it's about 20 minutes from Castelnaudary, which is worth a visit to try their Cassoulet and take a stroll along the canal, including a walk to the five locks.

14/04/2026: A lovely hotel in the center of Quillan. An excellent stopover for hikers. Reasonable prices, very good evening meals, and a generous breakfast. Ample free parking nearby. Group bookings welcome.

06/05/2026: We're here. The restaurant is open. The red wine is inexpensive, and the owner, Lionel, is as warm and friendly as ever. However, on May 13, 2026, Lionel will be retiring. The pizzeria next door will be taking over the le-Ficky-Bar.

11/09/2026: We had lunch at the Café Brasserie de la Promenade in Lagrasse. Our first pleasant surprise: the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant offers two set menus, one for €19 with a starter, main course, and dessert, and the other for €26, as well as an à la carte menu. The latter is rather limited, but this is actually quite nice: it features several local products, which is a real plus and fits well with the restaurant's ethos. The food is simple, unpretentious, but generally quite good. However, we did have a few reservations, which may have been largely due to the fact that the restaurant was extremely busy at lunchtime. We felt that the staff perhaps hadn't expected so many customers and that the service was a little overwhelmed by the crowds. We had chosen a dish with ratatouille advertised as homemade. It may indeed have been prepared on-site, but we had our doubts about the use of fresh vegetables. We found this disappointing, as we were really expecting a good homemade ratatouille, especially since, with good vegetables, it's a side dish that can be excellent without being particularly complicated to make. However, we prefer to attribute this disappointment to the busy service and the possibility that they simply didn't have enough prepared ratatouille left. Regarding the service, we encountered two very different people. The first was very professional, dynamic, and knew her job perfectly: menu, dishes, wines… she could answer our questions and was very efficient. The second told us she had only arrived four days earlier. We can certainly understand that someone is still learning. However, working in the hospitality industry ourselves, we were a little surprised that she had to systematically go and find out the information every time we asked a question about the menu or the ingredients of the dishes, especially since the menu is relatively short. Again, we think the high volume of customers probably didn't help matters. Another point that caught our attention was the restrooms. They are very old, and we noticed toilet paper on the floor. It's difficult to draw a definitive conclusion, as it was extremely busy at lunchtime, which could obviously have affected the state of the facilities during service. Finally, we were quite surprised by the layout of the place. The bar is relatively large, while the kitchen, and especially the food preparation area, seemed extremely small compared to the number of covers served. We really wondered how the staff manages to produce so many plates in such a small space during a busy service. In short, our experience was rather mixed, but we don't want to be too categorical after just one meal, especially given the high volume of customers. The positive aspects are definitely there: very reasonable prices, a deliberately simple menu, the use of local products, generally good food, and some particularly professional staff members. We'll likely return to form a more complete opinion, particularly to retry the dishes, the famous ratatouille, and see if our reservations about the service, restrooms, and organization were simply due to the exceptionally high lunchtime crowd. An interesting first experience, with potential, but one that we believe deserves to be confirmed on a future visit.

06/09/2026: A must-stop in Lagrasse! A great place to take a break after exploring the village. The shaded terrace is lovely, the welcome is warm, and the service is friendly. The food is simple, generous, and delicious. Thank you to the whole team for this enjoyable experience; we highly recommend it!

13/09/2026: The price was different than what was listed on the website. Way too expensive for what it is. I'll never set foot in there again, you can be sure of that. Hot sushi? I've never seen anything like it. Disgusted.

06/09/2026: My first experience at this restaurant was for a family lunch. As a former cook and a big eater, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Admittedly, I needed a moment to understand the three-course service, but by the second course, I didn't need a third. The food was flavorful, fresh, and varied; I thoroughly enjoyed it. A special mention for the tender and juicy salmon croquettes—fantastic! Bravo to the chef! I look forward to returning for dinner with the chef's special.

05/09/2026: The menu and the aromas of the food were very tempting. But the smell of tobacco from the waitress smoking in front of the menu board stopped me in my tracks. What a shame...

20/08/2026: We had a set menu on an all-inclusive trip, which are usually worse, and this one was exceptional. The snails were delicious, the kebab was great, and the desserts were exquisite.

20/09/2026: Passing through in June, I was pleasantly surprised; everything was good, the young and friendly team, I highly recommend it. The cassoulet was excellent 🤩 One small drawback: we came during a heatwave and there was no air conditioning, which was a shame as the only fans were blowing towards the bar.

01/10/2026: The food was really amazing. I ordered a taco duo; super big and well-filled. The meat was well-cooked and nicely seasoned. Tasty fries inside the taco. Super nice host. He is from Morocco, speaks French, English, and reasonable Dutch because he has family there. Definitely recommended for a quick, tasty, good bite to eat. I will definitely go back again and certainly recommend it to others to try it for themselves.

31/08/2026: We visit the bar every few years and had another wonderful evening there yesterday. I can't agree with the negative reviews from the German complainers at all: the food is excellent, the view is beautiful. You do have to make a reservation, like everywhere else in France. And yes, your feet are sometimes in the wet sand because it is, after all, a beach bar. I find it refreshing and unique. Therefore, I don't understand the complaints in the reviews at all. You can always find a parking space, and dogs are welcome. The staff speaks excellent English, and some also speak German. Regarding the food: this year I was particularly surprised by the top quality. I had tuna, and the others had chicken sandwiches.

29/07/2026: Worst restaurant in Gruissan. If you're planning to eat there, don't even think about it. Unpleasant owner, rude waiter, an hour to prepare two mussels... In short, McDonald's is better.

28/07/2026: A must-visit place, fast service...affordable prices and good quality....the only problem....end of September Lucas... Axel and the owners will be sorely missed....
