13/08/2024: Very friendly welcome. Affordable menus. Or salads that aren't too expensive either. It was very good. My coke hadn't gone sour when I opened it, the waitress warned me and told me to let her know if it was more carbonated. The artisanal sausage was very good. And forest pasta too. Also the vegetable pie of the day. A little less on the desserts but still good. Panacota a little too sweet for my taste but it's a question of taste. Waitress attentive and friendly.

01/09/2024: We came here because it was rated so highly in Tripadvisor, but we were disappointed. We arrived right at 7:30 when they opened and we were the second group of guests to be seated. Despite this, we watched many other tables get filled, and we were the last to get a menu after asking. We ended up sitting for 30 minutes watching everybody around us order and get served while we were ignored without even a drink being offered on this warm day. Eventually we got up and left. It appeared to be a local restaurant where locals dined with friends. We have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant, especially one that is inside a hotel. The lovely terrace and surroundings did not make up for the our treatment.

19/08/2024: Simple but good and quick cooking. On the other hand, the toilets: dirty... I really don't understand why restaurants cannot offer clean toilets...

09/09/2024: Très bel endroit et surtout une excellente surprise Une fondue extraordinairement bonne , des andouillettes cuisinées parfaitement Une tarte aux myrtille fraîche et excellente . Bref vaut le détour..

25/08/2024: First visit to this establishment on the Mediterranean route... Well received, good atmosphere, correct and fast service, family cuisine as advertised. But this Saturday lunchtime, the fries served with the filet mignon were not up to par: _ The frozen fries had a fishy taste... Eatable... But this detail spoils the dish and gives a bad rating to the whole rather very good meal... _ Consider changing your oil cooking and making homemade fries using real potatoes cut and cooked by you even if it takes time and is expensive... this will save you from bad comments. 14/09/2024: Well a little confused and totally unimpressed; I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant on my trip to Carcassonne. We walked in at 19.30 on a Saturday night and asked for a table for three. The guy asked if I had a reservation and I said no; he then said reservations only and the restaurant was empty apart from one table of four….. So I’m totally confused and rather upset as it made no sense; the only thing I good think of is that they obviously don’t want tourists and it’s a place for the locals - shame on you Le Cathare it’s put a sour taste in my mouth now for the rest of my trip

29/09/2024: L’accueil est tout simplement parfait et cela perdure tout au long du repas avec des petites attentions. La cuisine (globalement orienté Inde/Asie) est une vraie réussite ; visiblement, tout est fait par le chef, et les saveurs sont nombreuses et bien présentes. Un vrai et bon voyage culinaire. Seul bémol, la décoration de la première salle est peu avenante, et mériterait un coup de peinture. Cela ne gâche néanmoins par notre plaisir et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

16/09/2024: had a great meal, lunch menu, it was very quiet and dishes were fine, but not exceptional, supplement for meat in the menu was absolutely not worth the money. In short, a great place for a menu, but don't expect culinary delights

15/09/2024: Excellent address: the dishes are very well presented and the flavors exceptional. The atypical atmosphere of the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise and the staff was very welcoming. A special mention for the chef who came at the end of the meal to greet all the customers and who knows how to explain his job with passion. Looking forward to the new menu so that we can come back and taste the new dishes.

14/09/2024: Nous avons passé un moment très agréable. Tous les plats que nous avons pris été très bons, bien présentés, et à la bonne température. Nous n'avons pas trop attendu entre les plats grâce à la serveuse qui était seule mais très efficace et agréable. Elle est au top ! Merci pour ce moment, continuez comme ça !

18/09/2024: Very good homemade cassoulet with an authentic homemade taste. The hotel also has a shop that sells cooked dishes and the ingredients that compose them. Very good address

15/09/2024: Passing through, for one night, arrived at 7:30 p.m. after 500km, we had booked, we were told that the half board meals are at 7 p.m. they will have to hurry up, the bacon cassoulet and duck duck, lots of tasteless, unsalted beans , meal 45 minutes, limited breakfast, for 158€ I do not recommend
