11/06/2026: Disappointed with the value for money. The terrace is outdated. The food leaves much to be desired; the presentation of the dishes is simplistic.

07/06/2026: Pure class. True French gastronomic tradition, including the service. The dishes are homemade and prepared to order. I tasted the steak tartare and the cassoulet. I highly recommend it. Bravo!

16/05/2026: I went there with friends just for a drink, and the place is great! The staff is welcoming and friendly. I'm not from Carcassonne, but I'll definitely stop by again if I'm ever in the area.

30/01/2026: Having just bought a pizza this evening at 7pm, I took the last one left... a disaster! The dough was like chewed cardboard, impossible to swallow, straight to the bin!! I won't be going back anytime soon... (luckily there's a puff pastry shop nearby!!!)

08/11/2025: We were looking for a good cassoulet and found the perfect place. It's listed on the menu as "cassoulet à ma façon" and it's spectacular. Served in a cocotte, it has a subtle smokiness when uncovered and delicious meats—especially the duck confit. We paired it with a red wine recommended by the waiter, the ideal match. 🍷 Thank you for such a rich and authentic experience.

23/06/2026: Decent place in the square in the modern side of Carcassonne. Nothing ridiculously special, but a very decent offering and with a great setting too on the square. The croque Monsieur was nice, so was the chorizo. The tortilla de patatas was okay - not good compared to a Spanish one, but not awful.

25/04/2026: A shame. Beautiful place, very disappointing experience. I came for the views, and the location is spectacular, like a painting. The waiters were very friendly and attractive, and the service was attentive. That's where the good points ended. The food was very disappointing: mussels were practically empty, the seafood was low quality except for the oysters, which were decent. The crab was overcooked and cold. The side dishes were meager and uninspired. All the dishes were cold. The worst part: they allow dogs in the dining room, and it was uncomfortable. We heard barking throughout the entire meal. It completely ruined the atmosphere. It creates false expectations. Such a beautiful place deserves a kitchen to match. For now, I won't be back. Pros: Beautiful location, views, good service Cons: Cold food, poor seafood, empty mussels, constant barking

17/05/2026: To silence those who leave 1-star reviews without even having eaten at this restaurant, and who might discourage customers who only look at the overall rating... I'm giving this unpretentious little seaside restaurant the highest rating. They offer a set menu for €24, which is quite rare in this area. Of course, we weren't expecting a gourmet meal for that price, but we ate very well. The service was quick and friendly. What more could you ask for!

16/05/2026: Lunch today at 8 without a reservation. We were very warmly welcomed by the waitress who offered to move us to a table inside as it was drizzling. 👍 The meal was also very good, and the price was more than reasonable. Thank you and best wishes for a great season ahead! Hopefully the waitress (who was only there temporarily) will be there, as she was very professional. 👍 Thank you.

01/10/2025: It would be wise to update the information here on Google from time to time. We were looking forward to a lovely walk along the beach followed by a visit to the beach bar, but there's no such thing...

20/10/2025: Chez Norbert is always a safe bet; it's friendly, and the quality is good. It's hopelessly overcrowded during peak season, and outside of peak season, the outdoor seating isn't quite as pleasant. But it always deserves four points!
