16/09/2024: Autour de Siran, l'offre de restaurants est extrèmement pauvre, avec - au cours de notre séjour de sept jours - une bonne découverte à Caunes-Minervois (La Marbrerie) et une découverte nettement plus moyenne à La Livinière (Les Meulières). Caunes-Minervois est à environ un quart d'heure, par une route facile, du château-hôtel de Siran où nous résidions. Situé dans une ancienne marbrerie, le décor du restaurant de ce logis de France est très réussi, le patron est un vrai professionnel, très présent pour satisfaire sa clientèle. Il propose un choix de plats de qualité (notamment cassoulet vraiment maison et croustillants de langoustines, ..) et de planches de charcuteries et/ou fromages sympathiques. Les vins sont de qualité. Du coup, nous y avons dîné par deux fois et déjeuné par deux fois. C'est la table la plus recommandable dans le coin, sauf à vouloir faire un repas gastronomique au château de Siran. Enfin, notons que le réservation peut être faite via "the fork".

15/09/2024: Room not to be taken! Bathroom not clean and in its original style from the 1800s. 80 euros per night which is expensive for horrible bedding and a room tilted to ground level! I do not recommend

09/08/2024: Let's start with the food, fries are OK but then the paninis are industrial industrial paninis that are not even toasted. To avoid The staff is bad, we were served last well after tables arrived after us. The paninis took a very long time (probably to defrost them). For 2 paninis, it took more than 45 minutes to 1 hour of waiting. They of course didn't bother to ask how it happened, probably so as not to hear the answer. Really go your way

23/09/2024: A really great beach bar with friendly staff. And finally a bar where you aren't disturbed with any senseless musical noise, but can relax with the sound of the waves and a good drink. We would be happy to come back on our next stay.

30/07/2024: Maëva Lafargue 1/5 à l'instant sur Google Franchement j'aurais voulu mettre 0 étoiles. J'ai payé 103e juste pour être a côté de la mer. La chambre est piteuse ( porte de douche cassée, gel douche vide, aucun shampoing, porte et fenêtre grinçante, aucune pression d'eau pour l'eau froide ) UN CALVAIRE ! On c'est dit qu'ils ce rattraperais pour le petit déjeuner... Erreur. Pas de buffet, juste un gars au bar pour nous dire qu'on va payé 9.5 pour un croissant, 2 bisquottes, un jus et un kf... C'est too much. Il n'y a jamais personne a l'accueil de l'hôtel et aucune information ou téléphone dans les chambres. Pour le code wifi faut aller au restaurant espérant chopper un serveur au passage. La télé dans la chambre a elle aussi du mal faisant une crise d'épilepsie sur TOUTES les chaines. Franchement si vous voulez gâchez votres séjour, passer a cet hôtel. Sur ce nous remercions quand-même la gentillesse de la dame qui nous a "accueilli", même c'est effort et son sourire ne changeront pas ma note malheureusement.

30/07/2024: Accueil médiocre, arrivé à 3, on hésite à vous donner une table. Le vin arrive avant l’apéro. Le plat arrive alors que vous avez bu une gorgée de votre apéro. Les plats sont bons sans plus. Aucun geste pour les désagréments et pas de digestif pour la maison. Passez votre chemin.

07/07/2025: Since it changed ownership, I've been there 3 times and I've been refused entry for no apparent reason... Come down from your pedestal, your club is a cellar, with a clientele of ksos AND the bouncers are buffoons who think they're something they're not... It's unfortunate to have come to this!!!

05/07/2025: Having been there 2 years ago, I think it's better today, and it's strange to see the change, but honestly it's a very good establishment I recommend when you don't have much to do with your evening... 👍

17/10/2024: Saveur des plats bien présentés. Bon vin, même celui servi au verre. Personnel accueillant, sympathique et attentif. Toilettes propres. Oui oui. Bon rapport qualité-prix . Je changerais juste les fourchettes... Nous reviendrons.

24/10/2024: Di solito non faccio recensioni negative senza aver provato il locale, ma in questo caso devo fare un'eccezione. Siamo arrivati in un momento di affollamento della piazza (e di Carcassonne in generale), abbiamo chiesto se potevamo sederci e ci è stato indicato (più o meno, indicazione data da lontano) un tavolo ancora da sparecchiare (come altri in giro). Ci siamo seduti, abbiamo visto altri clienti sedersi in altri tavoli e fare le ordinazioni e noi siamo stati ignorati, forse perchè pensavano che gli aperitivi rimasti sul tavolo fossero nostri. Anche i nostri cenni sono stati ignorati, anzi ci guardavano come se fossimo di troppo. Dopo più di un quarto d'ora ci siamo alzati e recati altrove. Incommentabili.

17/09/2024: Accustomed to Chinese buffets, I must say that this one did not disappoint us. The room is nice. The staff is not (as is often the case) grumpy or "friendly as a prison door". There's quite a bit of choice (we've seen better but we've seen worse too) and some originality that I haven't seen elsewhere. We found what we were looking for without any problem (I love large grilled prawns, there aren't any in all the buffets so I was delighted!) we didn't go to the wok/griddle but we tasted quite a few chicken curry dishes, Peking duck, black mushroom beef, caramel chicken..... A good choice of dessert too. In summary, a good Chinese buffet.
