17/09/2026: There were 10 of us. The verdict was clear: the Leffe beer was bad, probably due to a problem with the keg or the cleanliness of the pipes, but the bartender told us it must be a gas issue and offered no solution. The food was mediocre. And then the bill came to €25.50 for a €16 steak and a 5cl Leffe. Leffe is expensive in this region. A shame.

25/03/2026: It's a real shame they don't respect the opening hours. I arrived at the door at 9:05 PM and the light was already off, the floor had been mopped, and the person there was busy locking up. Apart from that, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

28/02/2026: I'd been to this bar several times for a drink and to buy my lottery tickets, and honestly, I'm very disappointed by the behavior of the owner and his waitress, who are incredibly condescending. I won't be going back; they've lost a loyal customer. 😑❌

21/09/2026: We came to eat, but in the end, there was an association that wasn't having a lunch break. We paid like everyone else and ended up waiting for them to be served. We received much less on our plates than expected, which was a disgrace. We ate late, having to pay for a bottle of water afterward. Avoid at all costs!

07/05/2026: This is THE best rotisserie in Marseille, without a doubt. The chickens are carefully selected. They offer different types of chicken to suit all budgets. You can go there with your eyes closed!

11/08/2026: We ended up at the InterContinental for a late lunch after discovering, once again, that finding somewhere serving food after 2.30pm in Marseille can be quite an adventure. The hotel itself is beautiful and wonderfully calm, and the first-floor terrace is a lovely place to sit, although on such a hot Marseille afternoon the brumisateurs were struggling to make much difference. We ordered two burgers with fries, at around €30 each. When mine arrived, the beef was extremely rare, far more so than I would ever choose. I ate about half because I was hungry and initially assumed this was simply how the burger was served. My companion’s burger was noticeably more cooked. Eventually, out of curiosity, I asked one of the waitresses whether the burgers were normally served this way. The first thing she asked was whether we had been asked how we wanted the meat cooked. We hadn’t. She immediately took the burger back to the kitchen and, around ten minutes later, returned with a completely freshly cooked one. And I really want to emphasise this: she was wonderful. No defensiveness, no awkwardness, no making us feel difficult. She simply understood the problem and dealt with it immediately and graciously. The other bar and terrace staff we encountered were equally warm, professional and lovely. In fact, I felt genuinely bad afterwards that we hadn’t left them a tip, because the service absolutely deserved one. Unfortunately, the replacement burger was only average, and the fries were particularly disappointing: overcooked yet somehow soggy. At around €30 for a burger and fries, that’s difficult to overlook. And perhaps this review is part of something bigger for me. I’ve stayed quiet about disappointing experiences for a long time, but I’m increasingly tired of expensive restaurants, hotels and cafés charging premium prices while serving food or drinks that are below average. So I’ve decided to start reviewing places honestly, good and bad. Not to attack businesses or the people working incredibly hard in them, but because price and quality should still have some relationship to one another. When somewhere is brilliant, I want to say so. When it isn’t, I think it’s equally fair to say that too. This is absolutely not a criticism of the staff here. Quite the opposite. They were the best part of the experience and handled the situation beautifully. The hotel and terrace are gorgeous, the people looking after us were excellent, but at this price point the food should match both the surroundings and the standard of service. Sadly, on this occasion, it didn’t.

06/09/2026: Great wedding venue, very well laid out, with a great bar, a beautiful terrace, a large kitchen and a very large car park, I recommend it.

05/09/2026: We had breakfast there one morning and it was really good. The price wasn't too expensive for France, and the terrace was lovely.

31/08/2026: I've been a regular at this bakery for several years now, and the welcome and smiles are always there! Whether it's for bread or a little treat on the terrace, it's a must-visit spot in the neighborhood.

08/07/2026: The goat cheese and honey pizza went straight in the bin! The smell was nauseating, the taste was awful! Avoid it!

26/02/2026: The staff are wonderful and welcoming. The chocolate croissants are delicious. I highly recommend it.

30/09/2026: We received a very warm welcome when we ordered dinner this evening. We each chose the buffet menu (limited in terms of choice) but it was good and simple. Our main course was homemade shepherd's pie with green salad, a generous portion, and I should mention it was a small one… Dessert was a fruit cup with homemade fresh syrups. At €19.80 x 2, I think it's a bit pricey for this meal in a truck stop.

10/06/2026: Lunchtime, I ordered the buffet with an omelet, but I ended up with onions in the omelet, which wasn't listed on the menu. The owner still charged me even though I hadn't eaten anything. I did get a €3 discount, and to top it all off, everyone who ate with me that lunchtime—eight people from my company—got sick. P.S.: You have to like flies because they're part of the tasteless dishes. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

10/04/2026: I come here very often, but there's very little choice for a traditional bakery, and they don't change their offerings enough. The customer service is inconsistent; a smile one day, then nothing much the next, whether it's the morning or afternoon shift. I often get the feeling I'm bothering her, and she rarely makes eye contact, which is very disappointing. The bakery is quite expensive for what you get. Their only redeeming quality is their excellent sourdough baguettes, and that's the main reason I go there.

15/09/2026: A small get-together with friends, we decided to stop at this bar for a drink and a bite to eat. I ordered a focaccia that was half-frozen and looked nothing like a real focaccia. The cocktails were served in glasses no bigger than 10cl with loads of ice. My friends ordered a charcuterie and cheese board to share for €28. Needless to say, it was terrible value for money. A few pieces of charcuterie here and there and three bits of cheese. All this to say that I absolutely do not recommend this place.

05/09/2026: First row location, beautiful view of the promenade and the harbor. Touristy, of course. But... good service, good rosé, and delicious light meals from the daily menu. And all at a reasonable price.

11/09/2026: We had a very, very good meal in a magnificent setting; the service was beyond reproach, to put it mildly.

06/09/2026: The gratinated mussels were swimming in oil, the zucchini fritters were undercooked, etc. Very expensive, no service whatsoever/nice setting, which is a shame.

22/05/2026: I love it, I order from there regularly, the food is very good and the prices are reasonable, but I would really like them to offer shrimp omelets or Asian-style omelets for a change, I can't find them anywhere.

02/04/2026: Still the best Asian restaurant in Marseille, it's a shame the noodle portions have shrunk so much... they don't even cover half a plate.
