10/06/2026: A nice little morning coffee several times a week, a clean brasserie, a well-presented window display, and a varied menu. All the tables and seats facing the shopping arcade are swarming with flies; should the surfaces and trays be disinfected more regularly?

09/05/2026: I was greeted by a woman as friendly as a prison guard because it was busy and she didn't have time to refill the coffee capsules. I think she preferred that no one come to buy their lottery or scratch-off tickets. Thanks again for the welcome.

13/08/2026: The food is average and, above all, extremely expensive for what it is. Starters are the same price as main courses. There are no taps of water, even though they are supposed to be mandatory. The service is unfriendly to non-local customers, and the wait is very long. The place is nice and dog-friendly.

12/08/2026: Arriving at 12:45, feeling quite thirsty, we wanted to have a pleasant time, but before eating, we just wanted a refreshing drink before moving on to our meal. We asked for a table on the terrace, but it was fully booked. We were seated inside at a table by the window, surrounded by hundreds of ants. The manager came to take our drink order and practically threw our drinks onto the table. Three minutes later, he offered a table on the terrace to four people who hadn't booked and had arrived well after us. After 30 minutes without receiving any menus or any attention, and clearly sensing that this man had no desire to be a customer, we decided to spend our money elsewhere. This is my first negative review of an establishment, but I really wanted to protect the tourist clientele from this kind of individual who doesn't deserve a single euro.

18/07/2026: Hello, we just had breakfast at the Portuguese bakery and we really enjoyed the products and the service. The staff is great, they even offered us two cod fritters. A little heads-up for torrada fans: the butter isn't salted... but it's still very good. However, regarding the crowds, if you're a woman, you won't feel comfortable with so many men staring! There were two of us women who asked them to stop staring, and as a bonus, we got the middle finger... from the men... In short, if you're thinking of having breakfast on the terrace, forget it or be prepared to wait. Thanks again to the staff for your hospitality.

11/07/2026: Very disappointed. I bought a cake from this bakery and found mold in it. This is unacceptable and very worrying, especially regarding hygiene. I do not recommend this establishment.

22/05/2026: I love it, I order from there regularly, the food is very good and the prices are reasonable, but I would really like them to offer shrimp omelets or Asian-style omelets for a change, I can't find them anywhere.

02/04/2026: Still the best Asian restaurant in Marseille, it's a shame the noodle portions have shrunk so much... they don't even cover half a plate.

10/04/2026: I come here very often, but there's very little choice for a traditional bakery, and they don't change their offerings enough. The customer service is inconsistent; a smile one day, then nothing much the next, whether it's the morning or afternoon shift. I often get the feeling I'm bothering her, and she rarely makes eye contact, which is very disappointing. The bakery is quite expensive for what you get. Their only redeeming quality is their excellent sourdough baguettes, and that's the main reason I go there.

19/05/2026: A snack bar with a friendly welcome, but there's one drawback: it closes at 5 pm, meaning it stops serving food after that time. This is absurd, given that the terraces close at 8 pm, and besides, there are plenty of people on the terraces between 5 pm and 7 pm.

12/08/2026: The pizzas are excellent, but the delivery leaves much to be desired. I ordered at 7 pm, specifying that I was paying by card. I received my delivery at 8:40 pm. The driver had forgotten the card reader, so he left, leaving us the pizzas and planning to return with it. At 9:10 pm, I had to call the pizzeria myself to get the driver to finally leave. At 9:40 pm, I called the pizzeria again to ask where the driver was, and they told me they would come back tomorrow so I could pay. I had to call again to get confirmation, otherwise I would never have been notified because they are overwhelmed; their organization needs improvement. It's a real shame because the pizzas are truly delicious, but every time I've ordered from this establishment, the drivers have always taken an incredibly long time to arrive (I'm not talking about a 25-30 minute wait, but much longer).

07/08/2026: Quite good pizza for reasonable price. However if looking for a place to sit, it's better to go somewhere else.

04/09/2026: The salad was particularly bad, like something you'd get at a terrible cafeteria, but it cost €21.

31/08/2026: Ideally located at the bottom of the stairs at Saint Charles train station, this brasserie offers a relaxing place to stop while waiting for your train (or returning home). It's been our go-to spot for two years now. A very warm welcome (the manager is friendly and smiling), excellent food (classic but just what you need after traveling abroad 😁), and what can I say about the coffee 🤩. In short, we recommend it 200%!

17/08/2026: I went into the establishment to politely ask for a towel for my baby, who was having a little accident. The manager, without even a greeting, just asked, "Um, are you going to order something?" in a truly unpleasant tone. I told her, as you can imagine, to get a polite dressing-down. I advise you to avoid this place. Besides their rudeness, the decor is truly tasteless, and you can't even see the sun ☀️. There are much nicer cafes in Grand Littoral.
