04/10/2026: According to Larousse dictionaries: The term "napage" (glazing) refers to the act of covering a dish with a layer of sauce, cream, or jelly, as well as the resulting glaze. Please check the photo of these three magnificent McFlurry "caramel glaze" jars, which contain only two drops of caramel (so it's barely visible) at the bottom of the jar, despite the fact that it was specified in the order. This is not a glaze at all, but a complete rip-off.

30/09/2026: Very disappointed with this McDonald's. The ice cream machine was broken, and last time the soda machine was the same. No sauces in the drive-thru menu. Cold meat. Avoid at all costs.

18/06/2026: What a shame! I used to come every now and then specifically to eat the pizza, which was so good you could lick your fingers, and now they've changed pizza oil and it's nothing like the previous one.

08/10/2026: Very disappointed with this service. Over a 30-minute wait for a takeout order (with other people picking up their orders even though they arrived much later than us). When it arrived, the fries were soggy and the burger was cold, and to top it all off, we were missing all the sauces! (For both the fries and the nuggets). Thanks for the gift of only one ketchup and one sauce for the French fries. We'll have to make do. A waitress called an order that no one came to collect. We had already been waiting for a while, and she gave us a dirty look as if it were our order and we weren't listening to the call. I've never been disappointed before, but it seems like the staff has changed, and the service has become mediocre.

11/08/2026: We ended up at the InterContinental for a late lunch after discovering, once again, that finding somewhere serving food after 2.30pm in Marseille can be quite an adventure. The hotel itself is beautiful and wonderfully calm, and the first-floor terrace is a lovely place to sit, although on such a hot Marseille afternoon the brumisateurs were struggling to make much difference. We ordered two burgers with fries, at around €30 each. When mine arrived, the beef was extremely rare, far more so than I would ever choose. I ate about half because I was hungry and initially assumed this was simply how the burger was served. My companion’s burger was noticeably more cooked. Eventually, out of curiosity, I asked one of the waitresses whether the burgers were normally served this way. The first thing she asked was whether we had been asked how we wanted the meat cooked. We hadn’t. She immediately took the burger back to the kitchen and, around ten minutes later, returned with a completely freshly cooked one. And I really want to emphasise this: she was wonderful. No defensiveness, no awkwardness, no making us feel difficult. She simply understood the problem and dealt with it immediately and graciously. The other bar and terrace staff we encountered were equally warm, professional and lovely. In fact, I felt genuinely bad afterwards that we hadn’t left them a tip, because the service absolutely deserved one. Unfortunately, the replacement burger was only average, and the fries were particularly disappointing: overcooked yet somehow soggy. At around €30 for a burger and fries, that’s difficult to overlook. And perhaps this review is part of something bigger for me. I’ve stayed quiet about disappointing experiences for a long time, but I’m increasingly tired of expensive restaurants, hotels and cafés charging premium prices while serving food or drinks that are below average. So I’ve decided to start reviewing places honestly, good and bad. Not to attack businesses or the people working incredibly hard in them, but because price and quality should still have some relationship to one another. When somewhere is brilliant, I want to say so. When it isn’t, I think it’s equally fair to say that too. This is absolutely not a criticism of the staff here. Quite the opposite. They were the best part of the experience and handled the situation beautifully. The hotel and terrace are gorgeous, the people looking after us were excellent, but at this price point the food should match both the surroundings and the standard of service. Sadly, on this occasion, it didn’t.

14/09/2026: The setting is nice, given its location within the museum, but the welcome was very cold. The person at the counter didn't say hello, stared at me without a word, and responded with sighs when I asked a question. It's a shame; it doesn't meet the standard one expects from a place attached to a museum.

17/08/2026: I rarely speak up when things go wrong. But the management company isn't responding to my requests. Response times can be up to four months. I feel like there's no follow-up on my case. I understand things can be difficult, but when you have a problem, you expect it to be addressed and resolved. Since the departure of the competent manager, I find the solutions offered complicated, and especially the lack of response to my requests.
